Good breakfast. We stayed in a junior suite so the size of the room was good. Very central location. You can walk to the beach or the shops and restaurants.

The service could have been better. While waiting for our room to get ready, the receptionist said go up to the rooftop and have something to eat. When we went up, the waitress said we couldn't order anything as it was only brunch. After a really long flight, we were tired and just wanted a cup of coffee and a croissant. Also, the concierge was ok, but could have had better recommendations.

The scents they use in the hotel are very powerful and frankly not great, they also spray them in the rooms and it’s a high risk someone might not like it. The front desk staff were all women and almost all of them were rude. There was no smile, no Hello, I felt like I was invading their private property by coming to the hotel. They did smile at men…

Breakfast was excellent, good choice between buffet and cooked dishes. Fantastic views from the roof terrace over the sea which we enjoyed for breakfast and sundowner. The room was perfectly formed with a tiny balcony facing the street/sea. We were on the first floor so couldn't see the sea but looked out onto the nice little park right opposite. We had the windows shut (it was November) and it would have been too close to the street to keep them open. Bathroom had a large and powerful shower. Great location, we could do everything on foot.

It seemed difficult to adjust the temperature in the room. Concierge wasn't very knowledgable about strike action and train availabilities as it turned out when we arrived at the station...

Very comfortable bed.Strong wifi signal.Good air conditioning. Very extensive breakfast with many healthy options. Excellent rooftop restaurant. I think the hotel's location is ideal:seconds from Plaza Messina ,and all the restaurants-whereas hotels on the Promenade require quite a walk to the center of things. Staff was consistently top notch.The 2 concierges on duty were able to perform miracles when it came to reservations,taxis,information.

Small point,but I requested separate beds -and yet upon arrival found the room had just one bed.Staff had to come and separate it into two beds and remake them. They were very nice about it.

As soon as we stepped into the reception, we knew we would be taken very good care of. the team could not have been friendly and more helpful. the room was spotless, the bed comfy and it was quiet (just as we had requested). The breakfast is amazingly good, and not just the food: the views over the coast spectacular and the people watching!

The only small criticism was the price for the size of room. I could not honestly say it was very good value for money in that sense.

Great location facing the Mediterranean. Beautiful views, charming staff. A bit pricey but hey it's a 5* hotel. I'd have liked to have been offered an upgrade to a sea view, but my room was spacious, well appointed and had views towards the hills out back. A high floor (mine was level 5) aided the sense of being well away from ordinary life. All round - a great pleasure.

Impeccable staff service. Swift, discrete, responsive. It was an absolute pleasure from start to departure!

I had to call for the iron and ironing board. This would have been helpful if already in the room. I was short of time, the delivery could have been quicker, although I did have a very short time schedule, so I appreciate the staff did respond as fast as reasonably possible. I also had to call for hair dryer, I was expecting this to have been ready in the room.

The location of the hotel is perfect in the heart of the city and very close to the beach front. The food in the restaurant SEEN is excellent and the executive chef of the kitchen is just amazing and very kind. The rooms are modernly designed and the bed is very comfy. SPA and gym are very nice too.

Long waiting time in the restaurant to receive our table although a reservation was placed (1 hour waiting) during that one hour we were also waiting 30 minutes for our drinks during the waiting. The first room I was given had a defect balcony door and the shower was flooding as the water didn't sink.. Insufficient pre-check by the housekeeping.. Overall the service is not on 5 star level

Loved everything! We had a balcony with a view over the park and bay. Location was close enough to the lively old town area, but far enough to avoid the throngs of tourists. The hotel is beautiful and the rooms comfortable and elegant. We had a lovely dinner at their rooftop restaurant, and opted for sushi on our first night in France (what?!!) It was amazing and the presentation worthy of an Instagram post! They have an excellent breakfast buffet with an egg/omelet station as well.

We regretted only staying one night! Oh, and parking is a bit expensive.

Great location, room was nice w lovely view as we paid for an upgrade upon checkin - check in staff was nice. The concierge team was very helpful and respond quickly prior to my trip which made the planning much easier - especially Florian, super helpful and friendly!

The housekeeping is one of the worst I have seen in recent years for a 5-stars hotel. One of my facial cream was nowhere to be found after the first night, there was no shampoo and we waited almost 45 mins for the staff to bring one to us in the morning around 8am. I was quite shocked at the level of the service. The bathroom also didn’t feel super clean even after the daily service. Doorman didn’t even bother to help us load luggages upon our departure.
