Location was amazing Super spacious room, very functional too Super clean and easy access too

Would have given a 10/10 if our reservation had not been changed to 2 separate beds when the staff at the reception saw 2 girls arrive. He first asked if we were going to share a room and then went to change our room to separate beds. No harm in asking if you’re not sure about what people would prefer! Apart from this great hotel!

The location was fabulous. The room was very good value.

Breakfast choices were a bit limited.

We arrived early and went straight to the hotel in the hopes of storing our luggage before check in. To our surprise the room was already prepared and we were able to check in early. The staff were very friendly. The location was great, just up a small side street next to the Arena and everything we wanted to see in Nîmes was in walking distance. The room had everything, including a quiet air conditioning setting so we could keep it on over night. Bed and pillows especially were very comfortable.

Nothing we didn’t like. The room was higher in price compared to other options we’d looked at. But once we seen for ourselves the location and facilities, we were very happy with our choice of hotel.

It was very clean and quiet. The breakfast was varied and well presented.

The listing made it look like there would be a view of the arena from the breakfast room. There was not. The hotel entrance is set in an alley. We had a written confirmation that we had reserved parking the night before. “Bonjour, Je vous confirme la réservation d'une place de parking a 14€ par jour. Cordialement. La réception.” Upon arrival we were told that this was impossible as the six spaces were first come first serve each day. It was a let down that there was such poor communication. If they had told us ahead of time, it was not possible. We would’ve not been disappointed. It took the shine off the visit. Parking in the nearby municipal cost 24€ which is normal and acceptable.

Great location, wonderful spa space. Tried the whirlpool soak and it was wonderful after a long day of walking. Decent kitchenette with small fridge, glasses, plates, utensils, pans, kettle etc. Liked having a safe for passports & extra cash; nice break from wearing a money belt all the time. Room was ready early so we got to check in as soon as we arrived.

Noisy from window but I travel with earplugs. The side tables and desk were extremely dusty! The rubbery band on my watch was covered when I picked it up off the night stand. I checked both night stands and the desk; all 3 were really bad and heavily dusty. The picture is of my fingers after sliding it across the top of the nightstand where I had put my watch down to charge. I expect it’s because they’re light coloured wood and you can’t see the dust so they’re likely never wiped down by cleaners. I just got a couple wet napkins and cleaned them off before we continued using the surfaces.

Prime location, good standard, visited 2 times already, the best option if you want to stay in Nimes, underground parking near and you are walking distance to all the restaurants and beautiful old town. Also the view for the arena! Can't beat the price/place/quality ratio.

Only a few details. Sewage smells a bit sometimes depending on the room. I don't get why fitness area is not open earlier and closed later, if you arrive in the evening and leave in the morning only having a one night stay then you cannot really use it. We were 20 minutes after the start time of the breakfast, and eggs and other warm foods arrived to other buffet after we already finished it, not so cool.

The location is perfect, it is directly in the center and it was easy to walk everywhere. We had a window with a view to the arena. It was great. The room was big, clean with a nice furniture. The bed was also ok. Breakfast was on 4th floor with a nice view and a terrace. Food was very good, we enjoyed it.

There was not enough place to prepare something in the kitchen. A strange smell was cumming out of bathroom. I believe they have some problems with plumping. We wanted to use the swimming pool but it was out of order. If you come with a car, reserve the place at their parking. Otherwise you will have problems to part there. Call the reception a few minutes before you come so that they open it for you. I have to say that I was totally shocked that none of employees at the reception could speak English. Also the employee who was present in the breakfast room played the whole time with her phone, I found it unprofessional.

Firstly, the location is great - right beside the Arena so you can walk everywhere. I was impressed by my clean, modern studio room that included a small kitchen area, desk, a big TV and a massive bed. The en suite bathroom was also spacious with a good shower. I paid extra for the breakfast and was glad I did - it's served in a lovely room on the 4th floor (with nice views over the rooftops) and I enjoyed the selection of food available.

I would have expected the staff to speak more English, but I had enough French to get by. Also, I appreciate it is not the hotel's fault, but there's a big construction site right next door that does generate some early morning noise.

We were only given 2 large towels, no hand towels - we should have asked for additional ones as all staff we met, including cleaning staff were warm and helpful. Booking.com indicated that the room would have a balcony and it didn't - this may have been an error at the Booking.com end of things. The staff in the hotel tried to sort this out but had no rooms with balconies available - a minor issue as we were hardly in the room. Problem with air conditioning (which might actually have been our fault for setting it incorrectly) but this was rectified very quickly
