Nice 3 star hotel on quiet square, well located for the train station and near the main attractions of Nime. Breakfast served on fourth floor with small breakfast room and attractive fourth floor terrace overlooking rooftops of Nimes (we didn't get full benefit of this visiting in November but sure it is lovely in the summer). Lounge downstairs so you can sit and plan. Staff didn't speak much English but friendly and helpful. Clean and quiet. A good value hotel for short stay. Sent useful information about Nimes through before our visit.
Breakfast is a bit limited and not sure it is worth the money.

The room was fantastic! The bed was comfortable and there were many pillows that had were awesome. The bathroom was big and the shower had great water pressure and it was also really big with a rain showerhead. The window opened if I needed air. There was a nice little fridge in the room and a kettle to make tea or coffee with the provided tea and powdered coffee. My view looked onto a plaza but it wasn't noisy. There is a nice wardrobe to store my clothes and a good place to put my suitcase. There was nice temperature control in the room to keep the temperature exactly the way I liked.
The cups that I used in the room were not replaced with clean cups from a dishwasher. They were just rinsed and left in my room. They weren’t even that clean. The breakfast was mediocre. The eggs were cold. The bread wasn’t fresh from the bakery and it was cold. The coffee wasn’t that great.

A very nicely located and comfortable little hotel with a very good breakfast. I particularly liked the choice of light colour in rooms and the breakfast terrace. Perfect for a day or two in passage.
There were no stickers on the glass window in the breakfast room and I hit my head hard against the glass and nearly broke my nose! They should put some stickers! Sadly, there was not much concern by the hotel management. Only the African lady who served breakfast showed some empathy and brought ice. If I was the manager, I would offer some comfort to a guest in such a situation of stress and pain, and would not charge for that night, or whatever. But, business is business!

Although I have stayed in Nîmes from time to time, I was not familiar with this hotel on the edge of the old town. It is located in the corner of a small and quiet square 600 meters from the train station and 300 meters from the Roman arena. There are two restaurants right next door. I had booked breakfast in the morning. This was served on the roof terrace on the fourth floor and was relatively plentiful by French standards. As my room, measuring three by three and a half meters, had a single window overlooking the shaft-like inner courtyard, it was surprisingly quiet at night, even in the middle of a large French city. There was even a small fridge. The bathroom wasn't big, but it was well equipped. The bed was comfortable.
Of course, more space would be appreciated. And the peace and quiet of the night comes at the price of a view of a narrow backyard. If it rains, breakfast could be more crowded if the roof terrace is closed. But otherwise I liked it.

Location was good. Clean, comfortable room. Friendly staff on duty late afternoon/evening.
The hotel has no arrangement with any Parking garage, so they refer you to Indigo Parking, which is across the street but it is very expensive especially if you stay two nights, Eur24.80 p/day - the parking bays are very small. We found a cheaper Parking garage (Parking Halles, Rue des Halles), about 700m from the hotel which cost Eur12.50 p/day - the parking bays are a lot more spacious. Even though we requested our room to be serviced the second day, it was not serviced.

We really liked the central location very easy to get to everywhere in this beautiful walkable city. The room was very nice and clean with all you needed nice balcony overlooking the square. We didn’t have breakfast in the hotel but seemed good value
We waited ages after ringing the bell several times at reception for someone to arrive The gentleman was pleasant but not overly enthusiastic in promoting the city We were given a map with the main attractions though but had to ask for this. Towels were taken away after the first night and bath ones replaced receptionist told her there were no hand towels left to replace them also tea and coffee not replaced for the second night? Little but annoying details.

Super clean!!! The floor shone, the bathroom was perfect. Everything looked new and spotless. Comfortable bed (brilliant). Really friendly and professional staff. They let me leave my rucksack with them (after check-out) until my train was due. The location is perfect - central but in a quiet area. There was an elevator (which is always a bonus). Breakfast was nice and the rooftop terrace great for morning coffee.
Nice, crisp sheets but there was only a heavy duty duvet and no lighter summer blankets or a summer duvet

Terrific location within walking distance of all sites. Hotel was spotlessly clean, proper cups for in-room tea/coffee, elevator, good A/C, wifi, all on a quiet square. Car parking is easy as the hotel is directly in front of the "Indigo" underground parking garage (Rue Notre Dame), however we never used it because we were able to snag an on-street parking space (Rue Notre Dame) for our entire visit. Street pay parking is only charged for 9h-12h and then 14h-19h. Reasonable rates. Overnight is free. The town is sparkling clean. Street cleaner and sweepers were out every morning to freshen up the Square and adjacent sites. Also, nearby (five minute walk across the square) Columbus Coffee is a beautiful, large coffee house with fantastic coffee, food, and LARGE space. Use it! Nimes is charming!
(1) One surprise was for some reason our room (#303) was not serviced for our last night's visit. Strange since we had no issue the first two nights. Don't know if staff didn't show up for work or we were just missed. Not a big issue as we had enough supplies, but still unexpected. (2) Don't use the Booking.com app for directions to hotel as it will take you to a dead-end alley behind the hotel with no access to the facility, instead, route yourself to the front of the hotel (Square Hotel is not accessible by car as it is pedestrian only), but instead approach the front by using Rue Notre Dame which is also the direct access to parking Indigo mentioned above. You can park on street here.

Breakfasts were very good value in the rooftop restaurant. The hotel was extremely smart and the rooms very tidy and beds comfortable. In some French hotels you feel as though the decor has been left a little shabby in certain areas, but this hotel was very smart and modern looking right through. The staff were very friendly, some of them didn't have great English but were still very helpful. The hotel is pretty central in Nimes but is very quiet because it's in a courtyard that traffic doesn't enter (apart from delivery vehicles). We would definitely go back, we loved it. We stayed 5 nights and didn't want to leave.
I really can't find fault.
