I am a seasoned traveler and this time I traveled alone for the olympics. I made a last minute hotel booking for this hotel since my train was cancelled to Marseille for a game there. I just booked a hotel near the train station and expected something decent but wow I was pleasantly surprised by how excellent this hotel was. From the free breakfast to the friendliness of ths staff, manager, room service and everything else. The room was very quiet, the beds were comfortable and the pillows were soft. And oh it is like next to the train station with plenty of food choices even at 12 midnight. Area is very safe as well. Cannot recommend this hotel enough.

This is my second stay in this hotel; my first visit was in October 2023. The hotel is clean, the neighbourhood is vibrant, and it is close to the metro station. The staff was helpful and kind. The breakfast has enough varieties.

This time, I booked this hotel because I left happy for the first time. In general, it is still good, but this time our room is smaller, even though it is written in our booking that we have a wardrobe or closet, there wasn't. Last time, we had at least a cloth rail to hang, but this time, we had to use the hooks on the wall. We didn't have a safe either (as it was mentioned in our booking details). The breakfast was good, but on Sunday morning, the staff number was not enough to keep the breakfast buffet full, so we had to wait for bread and some other products.

A wonderful hotel, beautifully designed, spotlessly clean, very welcoming and comfortable located in a great neighbourhood with bakeries and shops close by. Rooms are lovely, great staff, breakfast is fresh, there is an attention to detail about everything that really sets this place apart. It is really very lovely and would highly recommend, I will be booking again for sure.

We had an really nice stay at Hotel Cabane. The room was clean and you didn’t hear the sounds from the streets. In the near is a Metro station, f you like you are really quick in that the centre of Paris. The breakfast is good. A few more vegetarian option, like fresh creme would it make perfect. But the real Highlight of the Hotel Cabane are the Employees! From check in to check out, every member was very friendly. The Madame at the Breakfast was very charming and made every morning perfect! I wish every Hotel has someone like her!

Everything was fine

I am from Australia and it was a long trip to Paris. From the moment I arrived they were welcoming, offered me some of their fresh cake of the day, loaned me an adaptor as I did not have the correct one for the power points and also gave me an early check in as room was available. Throughout the stay they were really helpful, as I was travelling on my own I needed some assistance here and there and they really helped me enjoy my Paris experience. Really close to train station and great access to everything you need.

The staff are amazing. Shout out to Yann, who brought sunshine even to the rainy days! The hotel is extremely clean and comfortable, and the location is fantastic. We didn't have breakfast there, so cannot advise on that. The bedding is very comfortable, and towels are the best! All in all, this is very high value for money, and a well-run, well-maintained, lovely hotel. We will be back!

The windows are soundproof, but in the summer if you want to keep the window open, it may be good to not be above the courtyard/terrace, as other guests might gather there to smoke and make noise.

It was probably the most friendly and helpful staff at the Paris hotel. The concept of the hotel is perfectly sustained. Cosmetics in the room is with a delicious smell. It is excellently sound-proof, noise from the street was not audible at all. The bed was comfortable, a lot of pillows. I liked the area, a large number of stores, a good bakery and metropolitan is right around the corner.

I don't think it was always clean. At breakfast, one person tries very hard, but does not have time to cut food and help with drinks. I needed to have a quick breakfast - we could not cook the egg, all the cold meet and chese cuts were over, I had absolutely nothing to eat. And it cost 16 euros. This upset me. I think extra help (probably one more person) during breakfast will be useful. But in the bar they make delicious cappuccino :).

The hotel is conveniently located a few minutes from Gare Montparnasse and the Pernety metro station. The reception is well done and the rooms clean, comfortable but (it's Paris after all) pretty small. The shower is not in a separate room but can at least be curtained off. Very comfortable and clean with the best, fluffiest and biggest towels we encountered in three weeks of stays. Breakfast excellent, copious and varied (need better labels on the eggs to show which are hard, soft and not yet cooked- hint, spin the - raw if wobbly) and available (even Sundays) from 6:30 to 10:30 - perfect! So a hit on all the big things! Elevator handy. Hotel generously gave our bikes room in the small garden in back.

Busy and noisy street but windows effective in cutting out the noise - however, might be stuffy in summer. Request a room at the back. If i were to be petty, the soap was problematic. There are three bottles: soap, shampoo and body cream. The bottles are identical and the labels only slightly different in color with tiny print. No glasses and low light in the shower mean they're really hard to read. The bottles are balanced on a metal shelf that is too small for them and you can't push the lever down on the bottle because the shelf is loose and the other one falls off. The light by the bed is hopeless for reading an actual book - need something that can be directed. But these small gripes are outweighed.

Good location

Very nice small hotel with a casual feel located in south of the Seine in a "local" area of Paris - perfect if you are looking for something that's not in the middle of the touristic hotspots. Next to subway stations: Pernety. 1 H walk from Palais de Tokyo. There is lot's of bakeries, cheese shops, butchers, coffee shops and restaurants, as well as organic/bio grocery stores in the area. Rooms are nicely decorated with soft lighting, good space for Paris and with either a view to the garden or the Main Street. Extremely nice towel : ) The breakfast room /shared space is facing the garden - this can be used throughout the day for working / having a coffee/drink - a nice break from the busy city. The staff is extremely helpful, kind & flexible. Good & easy internet access. Offering the possibility of storing your luggages. A very positive experience !
