The hotel in general was great. The room was clean, the personal were super nice and the location is just perfect if you travel by train or bus. Also it has a lot of restaurants and shops close to the hotel. They also kept our bags for free until the check in time, so we were allowed to discover the city being more confortable. The girls in the reception were super attentive.

The breakfast is really expensive for the little food that they offered, and if they run out of something, they didn’t replenish it (at least they didn’t the days that I spent there) Also, there was a guy who worked in the hotel during the breakfast, that was eating the little food that they offered for the guests, drinking their coffee and milk, and sitting there like if he was another client. Like I said, at least if they replenished the small buffet, I probably wouldn’t even care, but that’s not the case(not what I saw). Lastly, I spilled orange juice in my bed sheets by accident and when they came to clean my room, they didn’t change my sheets. They just did my bed like it wasn’t a juice stain in it, so I had to sleep like that. 😞

Location was great, across from the train station and a short walk to the old centre. The rooms were clean and comfortable, staff were nice and quick to respond to questions. I was there over the Easter weekend, and they left a little chocolate egg hunt on the Sunday which was very kind.

I had indicated I would arrive in the morning and received a note from the hotel before checking-in asking if I would like to check-in at 10 am for an extra fee. I agreed and received communication that it was confirmed. However when I arrived they told me it would not be possible to get into a room until 1 pm, and they can't guarantee early check-in. I wish they would not have offered the early check-in if it would not necessarily be possible. The garbage in my room was not emptied for the entire time I was there.

The location near the train station was very comfortable since we wanted to explore some cities near Rennes too. The hotel was quiet, bed was comfortable and staff kind and helpful. We appreciated that there was a kettle in the room.

There was no proper wardrobe which could be annoying when staying more days, it would be also nice to have a small fridge in the room. Also, there were just paper cups which is not a pleasant choice, we were able to get a couple of glasses at the reception when we asked though.

The reception staff couldn't have been more helpful - I was advised to take an umbrella as rain was forecast. The receptionist who booked me in (sorry, didn't get her name) had impeccable English, and was very tactful about using it. The location, exactly opposite the SNCF station, as well as the metro and buses was ideal. Breakfast was varied. Very few hotels offer the option of boiling one's own egg. Wide variety of breads, jams, fruit etc, plus madeleine's and crepes. Much better lighting than most hotel rooms.Exc

Some grab rails in the shower and next to the toilet would improve things for people with reduced mobility, at very little extra cost.

The location is just perfect. The room is quite big compared to other French hotels and very clean. The lobby is great to take a seat to have a sip of coffee. Staffs are helpful and everyone has beautiful smile! Especially special thanks to Alix and Celeste. They made my staying in Rennes much happier. I will bring their smiles to my home.

Not a single thing!

Great location opposite the train station but less than 10 mins walking from the shopping center and 15 from city center. The room is spacious and clean so is the bathroom. The staff is lovely and helpful - the nicest staff I met across hotels in Rennes surrounding the train station. The lounge area at the reception looks cosy and breakfast looks great too (I'm not a breakfast person).

No mini fridge is especially cumbersome in the summer.

Excellent location. Well kept common areas. Our room request was fulfilled. Polite and efficient staff. WiFi is good in the rooms. On checkout day you can telework from the restaurant, after breakfast, just ordering a hot drink. And you can play a game with the football table!!

Excellent value for price and maybe that's why the room is quite small, which is okay in general but a bit uncomfortable if you have two big suitcases.

Perfect location if you come by train, just across the street from the railway station. Decent breakfast, but they also cook food for you at any time -- this was great as I arrived at 2.30pm and all the restaurants in the city close at that time. The receptionist's communication style was a bit chill but the restaurant that she recommended to me was fabulous.

The elevators are annoyingly slow and the stairs are not accessible. My room was facing the street where the next building was a bar, so it was quite noisy till late in the night. For breakfast they put all cutlery in a glass handles down, so that you have to touch that part where you eat from - easy thing they could improve.

i went twice to this hotel and I honestly like it! clean, and good quality the receptions (2 girls) are so kind and cool.

there is a strange smell in the rooms. I think they must change the clean products. But all is fine in general

Nice room. Very well located. Helpful and friendly staff. Excellent bed linens and spacious bathroom. Overall, it was a very nice stay.

The carpet had a bad smell. I would suggest taking the carpet off or using some kind of product special for cleaning carpets.
