The room was very comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. The bed was comfortable, and there was a lovely bathtub (with complimentary bath salts). The coffee maker in the room was excellent, as was the rainfall shower. The staff was lovely. A delicious dinner was available on-site. The WiFi was good.

The room was quite dim, especially by the couch. It really needed a lamp. The hot water in the bath was not always hot. The staff leaving at 5 pm is a bit of a frustration should you need anything, and breakfast can be a little slow coming out. I was told 15-20 minute,s but I waited 40+ minutes.

A gorgeous boutique hotel with professional staffs. I encountered some technique problems in the room the first night (hot water heater stopped working, AC didn’t work) but the team resolved it quickly. Decoration in the room is unique and tasteful. It has everything you need for a perfect stay. Weller, the hotel restaurant is an absolute gem with great drinks and food. The hotel is located in an area with plenty of higher end bars and restaurants. Supermarket and Art Palace is nearby too.

I broke a glass in the bathroom. The housekeeper missed a few broken pieces on the floor first time. When I asked her politely to double clean, she said something in foreign language quite passive aggressively. I could have misinterpreted it but she made me quite uncomfortable.

From the moment I stepped inside, I felt this sense of relaxation wash over me. The lighting is soft and warm, and feels like a warm embrace. There is nothing ordinary about this hotel. Everything is carefully curated, it seems, to feel cozy and inviting. I’m incredibly impressed with the design, and the effect it has on mood. This is unlike any hotel I’ve stayed in before, and I loved every second in the hotel. The hotel staff were all wonderful and incredibly accommodating and helpful. A special thanks to Tamar, for always being available to assist with planning. In every way, this was the most pleasant hotel stay of my life. The tub in the room was such a wonderful touch, allowing me a luxurious nightly soak to unwind after long days exploring the city. The Weller Restaurant is incredible. Beautifully prepared dishes, and fantastic meals.

There was nothing at all that I didn’t like about the property.

Room was clean and pretty. Nice cityviews if you open bathroom balcony door.. Room was small but good for one person. Location is good.

Corridors were very dark. Hard to find the keyhole when entering to room. For breakfast there is two options - Georgian and Middle Eastern. First morning I ate the waiting time was about 30 minutes. There was me and one other customer… but it did not bother because I was not in a hurry and still could eat in peace. Last morning at 8:10 kitchen staff was not yet at work (breakfast starts at 8 and I came waiting for it at 8) so I ask can the guy in reception estimate how long does it take with breakfast because I had airport taxi coming at 9. Answer was sarcastic ”How many minutes you eat???”Okey. Did not eat there then. Tv did not work. Also noticed now that there is in the reservation that free bottle of wine is in the room. There was not.

The properties is an excellent converted building into a hotel, feeling very cozy. Very homely. Really easy to reach close by fun. Fabrika is just around the corner too . The hotel staff the two Georgi and Tamar are so very nice. They were always available, even at night if you encounter any questions. They are nice people. Hotel also has a hip and decent bar/ restaurant downstairs where they also serve breakfast and another one next door. Very clean overall, and the rooms with the bath on the first floor are very picturesque and great . Hospitality great . Good for value . Thank you for having us .

There is not much I didn’t like about the place. Over all it was a great stay

My wife and I stayed for one night. We checked in late at night and had to leave early in the morning. Since we didn't have much time to rest, I needed a very comfortable and quiet place to get a quality sleep, and that was exactly what I got. It was incredibly comfortable and quiet. Even though there wasn't a 24/7 reception, I easily followed the instructions they provided and accessed my room without any issues (which was actually quite fun). They were ready and willing to assist me with anything I needed. This is a place I would stay at again and recommend for my next visit to Tbilisi.

Amazing place with great atmosphere. First thing to mention - incredible design and attention to details. All needed stuff provided and for any additional request or information you’ll be assisted in the best way. Amazing restaurant downstairs, where u can have breakfast (worth trying ). Professional and friendly staff who gonna help to accommodate your needs. Convenient location of hotel with lots of coffee shops, restaurants and supermarkets nearby. Give it a try to experience Georgian hospitality.

As it happened, I stayed in both of the Communal hotels (the other is the Sololaki) when in Tbilisi, and while this one was in some ways nicer, it also fell short -- or at least was different -- in a couple of other ways. On the plus side, it's a beautiful building and the rooms were terrific -- airy and quiet. My room was on third floor and there is no elevator, not a problem for me, but some people might not like humping up three flights of stairs. There was also a restaurant in the hotel which had a good lunch and is well regarded for dinner, according to the reviews -- I didn't eat there myself. The neighborhood is, I gather, a trendy one, but it is a fair way to the center of the city and about a 10-minute walk to the nearest subway station -- there's also a lot of traffic in the area; it's not noisy, but busy. The breakfast was very good but, for some reason, it was not included in the price of the room as it was at the Sololaki, and when I asked why, the reason wasn't entirely clear. The hotel staff was friendly and eager, but not particularly helpful when it came to local restaurants, etc. Also, not to nit pick, but on my first day there, when I came down to breakfast, someone had spilled coffee on the marble stairs, making for a couple of slippery spots. I mentioned it, twice to the affable guy at the front desk, and both times he assured me that housekeeping would clean it up when they came in -- which was about an hour later. In the name of safety, in my opinion, he should have grabbed a rag and cleaned it up himself, which would have taken about 30 seconds, actually. So, all in all, maybe a slightly nicer hotel than the Sololaki, but less convenient to the downtown area and a less helpful staff.

I really enjoyed my stay at Communal Hotel Plekhanovi. The hotel offers a modern standard and comfort, but what valued most was the charm and unique style of my room and other facilities. For example, my bathroom had a skylight above the bathtub and had a yoga mat for guests to use. I would recommend to chose to have breakfast included, as it was a nice mezze tray with a large number of small breakfast dishes, together with eggs of your choice. The restaurant downstairs (Weller) offers excellent Libanese food, so I would highly recommend to stay for dinner or lunch there. Staff was very friendly and professional and helped me store my luggage after checkout.

We wanted to treat ourselves with a nice room to begin our holidays in Georgia and we have not been disappointed ! I made a booking but mixed up the date and the receptionist was so kind to upgrade us on the new selected dates and offer us a bootle of wine, really generous of him ! All the small details in the room are wonderful and makes Communal a wonderful place to rest. We slept so well in the bed and loved to have breakfast in the hotel’s restaurant. Would definitely come back. Thanks !!😊
