Booking: Nena had an easy booking and fast check-in process. The reception was superb friendly. I was able to check in early, which was greatly appreciated to catch up on sleep. Thank you! The room: The apartment was surprisingly quiet, hardly any noise (I was high up). My room was clean and comfortable. Working with the Wi-Fi was also no issue. Location: The surrounding area is quiet, but not very lively. There are plenty Spätis and mostly Turkish restaurants nearby to grab a bite, which is great. If you want more elevated venues, bus and U-bahn are nearby. Getting around solo as a woman seemed safe.

Shower-head should be freed from buildup/corrosion. Chipped mugs could be replaced. Otherwise, alright.

I like the self-contain setting, felt like home. There’s a fridge, induction cooker, dish washer, kitchen sink, plates, pots, cutlery, frying pan, etc The room can be well ventilated by opening the window. There is also a ventilator above the induction cooker in the kitchen area. Bathroom was big enough and well lit. Location was nice and quiet. City center is easily accessible by a bus 1 minute away or S/U-Bahn 8 minutes away. I think you get your money’s worth at this apartment.

Nothing in particular, just want to remind the management to top up the bath gel in the bathroom. A soap/ wash gel rack in the shower would be ideal as well.

The location was great, near a small neighborhood with lots of cafes and supermarkets but exceptionally close to a major public transport hub which made it easy to get in and out of the central city. The kitchen was a bit cramped but very clean and facilitated lots of cooking which is great if you're on a budget. The microwave can act as a oven and there was plenty of utensils which made cooking a breeze.

The apartment was very small, there wasn't room to keep the sofa bed open through to day and store large suitcases at the same time. The washing machines were also quite expensive and there was no way to dry clothes naturally.

The place was very easy to get to. It had a small balcony which allowed for natural light. The staff were very nice and helpful. The bathroom was excellent along with the small table and coffee maker. It felt like a nice place to relax and wind down after sight seeing.

The laundry is run via an app which if you are using a different SIM card makes it difficult to use. A cash option would have been helpful.

Very nice and neat accommodation, as described. Had everything we needed and more. 5 minutes from U-ban, 1 stop from Checkpoint Charlie.

What we didn't like is not related to the accommodation or its location. It is a general comment about Berlin. We expected to have more traditional German restaurants, especially since the apartment is near to the famous Bergmanstrasse. We found very good ones, finally, but it was not an easy task and not in the vicinity. So if you are food lover and expect to taste the local cuisine, you should be prepared in advance.

Room was really cozy and upon arrival we found coffee pads, tea and water in the room. Lady at the reception was really kind and let us check-in earlier than scheduled as the room was already available. We really appreciated that we could store our luggage at the reception the day we checked out and be able to enjoy a last day in the city.

Guests need to carry out their trash to a collection point in the backyard on the day of check out.

Great location with easy access to busses and subways; very comfortable bed; amazing view of Heilig-Kreuz Kirche.

Our unit was starting to get run down, plus it had an odd, rather unpleasant smell, but we adapted to everything, and the apartment was great for our week-long stay, it just needs some maintenance to bump it into the excellent category.

Very easy to get the key when I arrived at midnight. Everything was clean and convenient, the bed was comfortable, the room was at the back and very quiet. I only used the kitchen to make tea, but it had a microwave and cutlery. It's a 5-minute walk from Gneisenausstrasse U-bahn station, and there's a café a couple of doors away.

It would have been good to have more than 2 coffee pods for the Nespresso machine - though there is a coffee machine downstairs in reception.

Very good staff and helpful communication. Easy access to city, close to bus and underground lines. Easy to walk to lots of places. Kreuzberg cafes and restaurants close by and a very good food hall and market. Good Turkish place for breakfast next door. Good bathroom with a great shower. Self contained studio apartment with everything you need for cooking if you want. Everything very clean.

Building site next door started noisy work at 7.00am (June 23) I would like more than 2 coffee pods for the machine! Our room had a lovely big picture window but the view was a building site. No Aircon.

Large quiet room with everything we needed. Perfect for a family stay.

It could have done with a bit of paint. Marks on walls and wear and tear made it feel less nice than it really was. Also their booking.com account was hacked so I nearly git scammed out of giving my credit card details to a phisher- and received constant messages from the phisher on email, booking.com and WhatsApp over several weeks. I would have liked an apology or explanation from Nena.
