Room was functional but great. OK the safe didn't work, but otherwise all was good. I would have added a few more hangers and I am not sure if an iron is available. As it was a short stay, it was OK for me. The lady at the cocktail bar was really friendly and provided great drinks as well.

Breakfast coffee machine. It was alright. Initially we looked for a hot chocolate option, but there is none. 2 colleagues found there were not sufficient options. I am an ex-hotelier and would from my point of view just suggest that you spread the breakfast out more, make it look like more. At reception there were 3 staff, but only one doing the check-in, whilst there is a queue. No eye contact, no explanation, not sufficient attention to the guests at that point.

The personnel were very kind and nice, the main parts of the hotel were really beautiful and even though there was ongoing renovation, it was still cool. The rooms were spacious, and the bed was comfy.

We were in a room without a telephone or a mini fridge which was a bit odd. alsre was also no easy access to our room. We had to go to the first floor, walk around the hotel, then go down to some stairs and then reach the room. If you have large suitcases, that wouldn't be very pleasant.

Location could not be better. One does literally have everything right on his feet. Supermarkets, restaurants, public transport. The main station is just around the corner. The beds are quite comfortable and the room was very clean. Would definitely recommend staying there and of course I'll come back in the future. Looking forward to how the hotel looks after renovations are finished. Just a few more features in the room (fridge and small details like paper and pen) and it could become the perfect accommodation. Did not try the breakfast but have heard it's delicious. Will definitely book the breakfast service next time.

The staff was just okay. I would really appreciate it if there was a small fridge in the room to keep our drinks cold and fresh. A few more amenities would be very useful too like a piece of paper and a pen in the room. I think it's really necessary that they add air conditioning in the rooms as the day was warm and they have a moquette. The moment we walked in the room we felt a warm wave of air and we instantly had to open the windows. Luckily it got cooler later at night and it was windy. So we were able to keep the temperature lower and sleep with windows open.

Location excellent - only a few minutes walk from Dortmund Hauptbahnhof, the German Football Museum and the city centre. - Staff very friendly and very helpful - a couple of the younger staff surprisingly spoke somewhat limited English (though their English is better than my German of course!) though there were no communication problems. - The decor and the furniture in the hotel lobby was spectacular - we thought we'd come to wrong place at first! - Breakfast was very nice and real value for money. - Good lighting in our room and excellent showering / toilets facilities (bathroom nice and clean etc).

The actual area in the hotel where our room was was somewhat 'plain' compared to the rest of the hotel and no view from the window (just of another part of the hotel). - Also, in the breakfast area, they have made great use of a limited space, but on one side, the area between where the hotel guests sit and the tables where you pick up your food from the breakfast buffet was a little bit on the narrow side (not enough room for 2 people comfortably to pass each other - at one point I had to quicky 'jump' out of the way to avoid someone who himself had to move quickly to his right to avoid a child who wasn't particularly looking where they were going).

The hotel has a great location close to the city center and the train station. The room looked great and it was clean. It had new and modern furniture. The hotel staff was friendly. I found the luggage storage very useful, especially that I arrived early morning and I didn't have to carry my stuff with me until the check in time.

- At the end of my day when the cleaning stuff entered the room I noticed that the things were misplaced (the clothes were moved, portfard opened and put somewhere else) and some stuff were missing from the room (just some snacks and chocolate, but that is not ok at all). I don't appreciate appreciate people going through my stuff or taking them, no matter if it something valuable or just a chocolate. - The wifi didn't work.

Friendly staff and clean rooms. Comfortable beds. Nicely located, easy to get everywhere.

Warm in the rooms. And very dirty madrasses. Our neighbours next door were fighting all night, i heard someone being hit multiple times and cries. The fight continued during the morning. I told staff both during the night and in the morning.

I have stayed at this hotel since 2017. The room is good. It is a standard room for the economy class. For me, its location is the main reason for the hotel's choice. It is 5 minutes from the main railway station. The main shopping street is straight ahead of the hotel's entrance. Breakfast is available for an additional fee of 12.90 euros. The breakfast is good: sausages, bacon, crumble, boiled eggs, vegetables (tomatoes, cucumbers, olives), cheeses, yogurts, muesli, cupcakes, juices, coffee, tea, etc. The Wi-Fi is good. The hotel staff are friendly and well-willed.

Now, the cleaning service is only if you ask about it. It is not so convenient if you stay more than 4-5 days.

Great location within walking distance from central and metro stations, spacious and clean room and bathroom, helpful personnel.

The room had no air conditioning so the only way to have fresh air in the room was by opening the window, but as the room was located on the ground floor, on the street level, it was not safe to leave it open during the night. Also there was no mini fridge, so you could not have cold water in the room, something necessary especially during summer period. Other than that, we had a pleasant stay and would choose it again.

The TV was really bad - most of the channels did not work, and the ones who did had bad reception. The safe in my room did not work and the staff was unable to fix it

Excellent location,very comfortable room especially for 1 person,clean and i also liked that you could make coffee

TV had no remote control,the sink got clogged and the water couldn't remove,only one hanger in the closet.
