the room was super comfortable and the whole place very clean, staff always said hello and were smiling, location is a good walking distance from the station

i rated the location down because of the city itself, nothing to do with the hotel. as a solo female i didn't feel very safe in the streets, but once inside everything was fine. i also scored a room where the bathroom wasn't attatched, so i had to walk down the hall every time i needed the bathroom or even just filling my drink bottle - not the worst thing but just a bit annoying

Fantastic hotel, located 15 minutes walk from the center. Close to many bars, restaurants, and supermarkets. The room is very big and clean, the bed is very comfortable, Wifi connection is very good, and the room has a very nice and clean bathroom. The staff were very communicative and nice, super friendly, and were always attentive and asked if I needed any help with anything. I really felt at home :) I loved this place !!! I will come back for sure when I am back to Düsseldorf.

I didn't really spend much time indoors, but location is best for my needs, staff could not be more helpful. Everyone is smiling, more than helpful and always happy to go extra mile. As a person who travel extensively and stay in hotels a lot, I like Famosa for family atmosphere and fact that its not trying to pretend something that is not. Honest hospitality at its best!

Maybe a bit better facilities to store luggage for guest who arrive before check-in time. But its just simple feedback, not a negative remark.

Very friendly staff working on reception. We needed a place to stop overnight that was accessible and this was exactly what the hotel offered. The door is unlocked for you to come and go as you please, whilst you also have a key for when it gets late to allow yourself back into the lobby. The bedroom was perfect for what we needed. Comfortable bed and a spacious ensuite. There is parking nearby which is a little pricey, but the hotel was affordable so it balances out.

There really isn't anything that we notably disliked. The stay was exactly what we needed and it served its purpose very well for us. Thank you!

Breakfast was average with limited options but was fine Location is very nice, close to bus and metro stations And about 8 minutes walking from main train station Dusseldorf hauptbahnhof Also not far from the old town altstadt

Room was a little bit small Sunrise comes early this time and blackout is not good There were no Air-conditioning in the room and unfortunately the weather during my trip was too hot But the staff sent me a fan

It’s really great hotel with nice staff and great location The bus to airport is 3 min walking and train station also It’s so clean and quiet

My room was at 3 rd floor and I have to carry heavy baggage up and down But to be honest there is a young man in reception help me to carry up But it was so tiring to go down alone as the elevator not working

The staff was very nice and welcoming. We are four people and we got a very large room. The room had the basic necessities but it was the roof floor and does not look like typical hotel room. It is very good if you are a group of friends or family. There was tv, hair dryer, mini fridge in the room and it was clean. The only thing it was in the 6th floor and the elevator was out of order. We did not have luggages so it was fine.

Hotel prices are very high in Dusseldorf, so the cost of this was reasonable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. It's a 25 min walk into the old town (Altstadt), but we already knew that. On-street (metered) parking is available and there is an underground car park about 100 yards away.

The lift only starts on the second floor, so if you have heavy cases be prepared to carry them up the first couple of flights of stairs.

A comfortable and spacious room in a small hotel, which is in easy reach of Duesseldorf Hauptbahnhof, which is a 10-minute walk or a brief tram journey. Bathroom facilities are fine and the wi-fi connection works well. The Oststrasse and the excellent Schumacher's brewery restaurant is a 15-minute walk from the hotel.

Pillows were far too thin and very uncomfortable, although this was easily remedied.
