I'm actually from Thailand. I had a pleasant stay in this hotel. It s very near the central train station but in a quiet area. The hotel is clean and well equipped. The room was comfortable and clean. The bathroom with a shower room was new and very clean. The breakfast was so good with a variety of foods, western and Japanese food. All staff were very friendly, kind and helpful. Special thanks to a gentleman at the reception who helped me to drag a heavy luggage and bag to the train station to explain there that my bag with cash, passport, credit card and phone were stolen. My purchased train ticket was only on the. App. on my phone. With his help, I was allowed to get on the train. Otherwise, life would be more difficult in Germany as I had no money at that moment for a new train ticket. I really appreciate his kindness and help. I highly recommend the hotel.

The double room is a great size for two people with plenty of room. The beds were comfortable and it was a simple walk to the train station. The Junior Suite was WAY bigger than expected and was a great value for multiple people! Staff was friendly and helpful.

Not a fault of the hotel, but I would recommend avoiding going a couple blocks north of the hotel as there was more open drug use on the streets- Hotel Asahi was very safe though!

The breakfast buffet is great. The staff members are very friendly. The hotel is very close to the main station, easy to walk. In my room was even a small kitchen corner .

There's a smoking compartment in the lobby.... Even if the people smoke in this box, you can still smell the smoke (for me a nogo in a hotel, go outside for a smoke) The bedside lamps are not really working... the lampshades are too small (or the bulbs too big).

The staff is very friendly and the breakfast is good. The location is very good, there are many restaurants around the hotel, and it is very close to the railway station and King's Avenue, which is a very good choice.

The bathroom in our room is too small.

Rooms are well-furnished and the beds are very comfortable. Extra points for the great pillows that are as good as they get. The breakfast was also very good: wide range of choices of good quality all the way till the end time.

The lobby area is small and not very inviting. The indoor (closed off, but indoor) smoking area is not of this day and age. The location was not quite as nice as anticipated (my lack of research)

We stayed here for the Düsseldorf Christmas market. Staff was really nice and helpful. We needed an extra blanket on the bed and it was ready on our bed when we got back. Wanted a cup of coffee and got service with a smile. Really nice experience. You can tell they work really hard. We could even leave the car there for an extra couple of hours after check out for free. Location is great for the Christmas market. 10 minute walk to the nearest one and 20 minutes to the last. Water pressure is great and one of the only bathrooms where I've stayed where there was zero mold to be found anywhere!

Water in the shower was cold the last evening and morning, but we were checking out after that morning, so we didn't say anything. Maybe they could have fixed it if we did. Minor inconvenience.

The hotel is very well located, a few minutes away from the train and bus station, lots of fantastic eating options nearby in the Little Tokyo district. The staff, from the receptionists to the housekeepers, are exceptional. The hotel is very comfortable, clean and really strives to cater for the needs of the guests. The lobby is very pleasant, with a nice aquarium. The room and the bathroom were spacious, with a nice contemporary design and nice touches such as slippers, tea/coffee-making facilities, vanity sets, etc. The comfort of the beds was exceptional. The room had an excellent heating, was warm, but the heating could also be modified manually.

The location was great only a few minutes from the central train station and right next to little Tokyo where you can find lots of great restaurants. It is about 15mins walk to the shopping district which is not far at all. The room is big and has a little kitchenette which is perfect for family with baby.

The room is a bit dated and could do with new decor

The hotel is near many of the shops and restaurants of Little Tokyo, around 20 minutes on foot from the central shopping area/old town, and near public transport connections. The room was spacious and clean and overall it was fairly quiet. The hotel offers reasonably priced parking if you arrive by car and staff were generally friendly and helpful.

The facilities are a little dated. A few additional light fixtures would be nice as the room felt quite dark. The bed was also very soft but that’s personal preference.

The hotel location is great in downtown. Many restaurants around. The staff are friendly and helpful. very convenient. The room is big enough for 3 people. Pet friendly!

the bathroom is small. There is no AC so I need to open the window at night. It was loud from the street. There are many homeless people begging for money downtown at night. a little bg scared on my way back to hotel.
