Location

The booking was made January 2024 for a stay in May 2024 at a price of €245. Two days before arriving I checked the route to the hotel and noticed THE SAME ROOM FOR SAME DATES at €168. When mentioning that at reception we received an awkward smile and paid €245.

Excellent location - all 3-5 min walking distance to/from the main train station, S-bahn stop to Munich Intl airport, famous Munich attractions. Many restaurants and bakeries nearby. The room was very clean, comfortable, quiet and reasonably priced. Super comfy beds for me and my two adult kids. There is so much to see in Munich so we only go back to our room to shower and rest/sleep. Check-in was very fast.

No glasses or mugs in the room. And, there was a water disruption starting at 9.30am on the last day we stayed there so we checked out early. The hotel in general is very good, but we just wished we had known much earlier about the water disruption.

Everything was nice. Hotel location is very close to karlzplatz stachus station. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was very good and had all basics I needed. They even had an eco friendly system whereby you get either a free beer and/or water if you choose not to clean your room on a particular day.

There was no phone to call the receptionist. There was no mini bar in the room. To overcome lack of mini bar, they offered to keep the food I brought in the cafeteria fridge but you need to go down from your room and ask receptionist to get it for you.

This hotel has a GREAT location. Super close to train station, subway lines, and main town. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and the price was very reasonable for the location and what we got. There's also a lot of good little restaurants and shopping within walking distance!

The beds were very hard, and therefore I found them to be uncomfortable, but I am notoriously picky about beds. The pillows were also terrible, they seemed like someone had ripped pillows apart and then shoved the remains into a new pillow case? Very lumpy but also somehow not supportive at all. The front desk clerks were very nice to give us extras but they were still not better. Also some rooms face the main road and the main road is LOUD. There is a light rail outside, drunk people walking/yelling/singing, and cars zooming past at all hours of the night. I personally don't mind the noise, but I can imagine that people who are used to sleeping in silence would not be able to get any sleep if they had a street facing room.

Hotel is a great location with a simple walk from the main station. Also a very easy walk to Marienplatz. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They were very accommodating and appreciated how kind they were. The breakfast has a good spread, and the beds were soft and comfortable. Showers were a decent size!

Some of the double rooms are smaller than others, but still had plenty of room for being so close to everything in Munich! Hotel worked hard to make sure the front of the hotel was kept clean, just watch for other places along the street to not have as high of a standard.

Very centrally located just 3 mins walk to both Karlsplatz and Central stations. 5 mins walk to the old town and all its shops and restaurants. Friendly staff, clean room with a/c and comfortable bed. The room was ready before check-in time, which was very convenient. They keep your luggage in case of having a late flight. Highly recommended.

The immediate area outside the hotel at night is frequented by some homeless people, which gives you a bad impression at first. But don't be put off. The hotel is near a number of restaurants, a cinema and the underground station. So there are constantly loads of people passing by.

Very nice and helpful staff. Very comfortable beds. Clean linen and towels. Clean bathroom. Very nice, tasty breakfasts. Good size of the room. Very close to the main train station and to the city center (within a walking distance).

There are some people on the street you have to walk to the hotel from the main train station and then follow further to the city center (app 300m) who beg for money and show their disability to public what may make sensitive guests anxious.

Location : i. Excellent. Hotel is strategically located between Munich HBF and Karlsplatz. Many tram options around Karlsplatz. ii. Travellers should be a little careful at night. Although nothing happened to me on my stay there (single female visitor), I took precaution to be aware of my surroundings if I was along the streets to the stations in the early mornings/late nights. iii. Easy access to shopping and eateries. Very walkable to Marienplatz. Room : i. Compact (I'm petite and dont require much space. Info provided for reference), efficient and clean. ii. Not much wardrobe space - this is acceptable for me as i was travelling solo and don't unpack. iii. Pros : Free Wifi. iv. Pros : There was a sign stating that guests could claim 1 free beer/bottled water in exchange for no housekeeping (per day). I did not test this and perhaps someone else can verify. v. Pros : Good housekeeping. Clean room daily. Shower / Toilet : i. Shower and toilet are separate. Some may find the compactness of these areas a bit challenging however the space was acceptable for me (refer photos) ii. Towels, Shampoo/handwash provided. No toothbrush/toothpaste. iii. Water pressure : Excellent. iv. Mini hairdryer provided. Sufficient for people with short hair. Challenging for people with long hair.

Room : i. Cons : No kettle/mugs/tea/coffee provided. However I did not ask at concierge either. ii. Cons : No mini fridge. iii. Cons : No tissues, however I suppose one could use the additional toilet roll. iv. Cons : No AC/fan provided. I was at the hotel in summer and even with the windows open it wasn't too cool. I did not ask concierge for a fan however as the temperature was tolerable (for me). v. Cons : No phone in room. Requests must be done in person. vi. Comments : My room faced a courtyard which a bierhaus operated in. It was not noisy for me however this would depend on each individuals tolerance of noise. As I was there in summer I needed to keep the window open.

The hotel is close to the train station, clean and with new furniture. I was only there for one night, but the room was large enough to ensure a comfortable stay for longer stays. If you are sensitive to noise, you might prefer a quiet room as the tram passes in the street of the hotel. This was not a problem for me as I am not that sensitive. The room is equipped with soap and clean towels, nothing more. You can ask for a glass at reception, I didn't know about that. All in all, if the price stays in this range or lower, I will definitely come back.

Location was superb to the train station, airport and the city center; also on a Main Street so avoiding the problems of the vicinity of train stations in big cities. Staff were great thanks Mr Samir he checked in us early as the room was available. He gave us a kettle because the room hasn’t any. I liked the bed configuration. The room was clean and good size. Our room was facing the main street but no noise.

No refrigerator. No single cup in the room nor in the bathroom. Also I didn’t like the sink outside the bathroom, it was strange. They need to provide the bathroom with normal accessories to hang towels and clothes and any shelf to put your eyeglasses during shower.
