Good location, close to Central station and Altstadt. Spacious and comfortable room. Great breakfast.

Wery bad experience with the service staff. My wife had a perfume bottle stolen from her purse. We were there from 7th to 10th december in room 336.

We loved the location near the main train station. It was just a few minutes walk from the train. The check in and out was quick and easy. Our room in the back of the building was clean and quiet. The buffet breakfast was enjoyable with plenty of food choices. Outside there are many restaurants in the neighborhood featuring different types of cuisines. We stayed 1 night in mid September and 2 nights in mid October. The city is flat and many tourist attractions are easily accessible by tram or walking distance. We will be back.

Note that there is no air conditioning though there are fans to circulate air. This was not a problem for us because the weather was not hot. They do warn you about this. The train station and the general area near the hotel is undergoing major restructuring but I would stay here again anyway.

Outstanding Location which is conveniently located in the heart of the city near the Central Train Station. I was able to Check-In very early since I arrived in the city early in the morning taking a train from the airport from an overnight flight. I was greeted by an Excellent reception person! The single room was more than adequate for a one night stay and very quiet. Breakfast the next morning was spectacular- very comfortable dining room with linen covered tables and comfortable chairs, great / helpful staff, and a fantastic selection of high quality foods and beverages.

Currently the property is in the middle of a major construction zone, but well marked.

The receptionist had excellent English, was friendly, gave us good advice about where to eat and was very knowledgeable about our culture! Breakfast excellent in every way. (And I hope you don’t mind me praising the competition - but the wonderful Münchner Stubn is just next door!)

It was a little difficult to find out how to control the heating. Choice of tv channels limited and no subtitles - but this is hardly a criticism. We weren’t there to watch television!

Reception staff very friendly. We booked a standard room and got a 2 room “suite” with 2 TVs and a sofa bed. Everything was very clean and comfortable but hotel is generally a bit dated. No bar or open restaurant. Across the road from Hauptbahnhof which was the main reason I booked it. 15 mins easy walk to Marienplatz. The breakfast room and choice was very nice. Good coffee and hot and cold options. The hotel did point out in advance that there is no aircon. Our room had a ceiling fan, but it was quite huge and scary looking. The windows can be fully opened though. The shower was really good. We only stayed one night but it was a perfectly nice stay and good value for money. We were slightly worried initially as there were signs everywhere saying that they were full, but we had no issues going for breakfast or waiting for the lift. I would happily book again for an overnight stay between trains.

Kettle in room would be nice maybe, but I wasn’t expecting anything fancy for the price we paid.

Perfect value for money at a train station hotel (location was convenient and the hotel was comfortable) Breakfast was fantastic - the staff was friendly and the selection was great.

The staff at reception were not very friendly - booked specifically because reception was open 24+ late and we were arriving late in the night. This was a last minute booking and received a phone call asking if we really were coming. It felt like it was an attempt to have us not come, and upon arrival it felt like an inconvenience that we had actually show up.

We booked this hotel to travel onward the next day from Munich main station by train after our flight had a delay due to the ice rain. We came from the airport via Line S1, exited the station and just had to cross the street. Rooms were spacious, very comfortable beds and the bath was clean and bright. A nice restaurant next door served decent food for dinner. The room was perfectly quiet and we did not hear the smallest noise from the street. I would not have thought this was possible in this location, but it was the most quiet night we've had since month. The breakfast was marvellous and set's an example for every 5 star hotel we've ever been in. A big shoutout of thank you to the staff at the reception as well as to the nice gentlemen serving in the breakfast room.

We would have liked a water cooker and a bottle of water in the room, or at least a vending machine in the house to make ourselves a coffee or have a small snack without having to leave the house.

-The hot breakfast was amazing. They had sausages, eggs, a variety of bread, some cheese and salami, cereal and milk, and the tea was quite good, in my opinion (I normally drink U.K Twinings tea). -The staff members we spoke to were very friendly and helpful. Danke schon! -The location is very convenient.

-My perception was that one of the male receptionists was slightly on the unfrinedlier side. -Some of the breakfast staff seemed a bit judgy.

Good location,with clean and well fitted out rooms. The breakfast buffet is a very good value. The hotel was very upfront about the lack of AC. However, even during our August stay, the ceiling fan and the operative windows kept the room comfortably cool for sleeping.

Construction across the street made for a lot of noise. As there was no AC, one needed to have windows open at night. Construction started very early in the morning.

The location was excellent. It was close to the train station and the downtown area was within a short walking distance. Breakfast was good with many options available. The room was clean with a a small fridge.

The only complaint I have is that unless the shower head is centered in the tub the water makes its way to the bathroom floor even with the shower curtain tucked in. That was really my only complaint.
