Well located for an overnight stop to Italy although I am sure it would make a good base for sightseeing the local area. The room was spacious and comfortable and the restaurant serves delicious food. We have stayed here before so there is consistency in their service.

Only negative for us was a second floor room with two sets of steep stairs. Maybe next time we will ask for a room on the first floor.

It was our third stopover night at this hotel on the way to Italy - and we will come back! Nice, fairly big rooms, spotlessly clean, great breakfast with lots of choices. They also offer a very good in-house restaurant and an outside terrace in season which is very convenient if you don’t want to drive anymore…

nothing bad for us but just be aware that there is no lift and rooms can be located up to the 3rd floor

Very quaint house, typical for the area but tastefully modernised, spacious rooms with good beds, new bathrooms & small fridge. Family run business with the proprietor taking care of the guests in the morning, serving a very good breakfast with local specialties.

No negative thoughts

Away from big cities/town, in the middle of a small town/ village. Accept pets and pretty good breakfast close to europa park, freiburg, colmar and strasbourg to visit them all locations.

Well the hot water was gone for some time in the first morning there. But no issues after that

Great room everything is new and floating bed. Second floor with no lift gave us free training up the stairs! No air condition but expected. Not direct off autobahn but worth the 3 km travel. Great value, free parking direct by the hotel. Great breakfast. Had soup and beer in the evening and service was as expected

What’s not to like. Old German hotel but with 2023 standard on the rooms.

Lovely quaint village. Traditional, well kept hotel with great facilities. Clean, good sized rooms. Everything was well tended. Helpful staff. We thought it was ideal for us on our journey south. We'd stay here again without any hesitation.

we stayed in a large and bright room. it was well insulated from the noise of the street and pleasantly warm. Comfortable bed and pillows. friendly staff, excellent food for dinner and a plentiful breakfast.

It's important to point out the absence of an elevator, even if it wasn't a problem for us.

Very friendly staff. Hotel in real German style, even the clothing of the staff. It looks exactly like the photo's. Dinner and breakfast were nice.

The room did not have AC. I did not check that upon booking, so I have myself to blame. Never thought that we would need AC in Germany. Well heatwave, it was incredibly warm in the room.

The staff were really friendly and helpful. Food was delicious, especially the breakfast with lovely local products and fresh.

Nothing to say, but as mentioned to the staff, the fridge was a little bit dirty with hairs and crumbs but rest was ok.

Our family stayed in the hotel for one night. We were traveling from Switzerland to Amsterdam. The hotel is nicely located near the highway, very quiet and clean. Great breakfast with a lot of choices. The room was very quiet and seems recently renovated. It was a great choice.
