Very friendly staff, comfortable beds, really clean. It’s on the outskirt of Freiburg so more quiet. The tram to the centre of Freiburg is in front of the hotel, in 15 minutes you are in the centre of Freiburg!

There are train tracks behind the hotel where heavy trains pass. This makes quite the noise. The hotel provides earplugs for this next to the bed, that’s nice but still. It’s good to know beforehand. Also there is a gasstation in front of the hotel and a shabby apartment complex next to it. So when we arrived we were a bit deluted, we expected more green because of the photos. There is grass behind the hotel.

Amazing position. While it is a bit in the middle of nowhere but the hotel is also right in front of one of the main train lines (line 4) which gets directly to the center and to the station. The room was also quite big, with a balcony even. It was honestly one of the nicest hotels I have been in.

The only thing missing was a small fridge, but I understand that it might have been an extra cost. It was not really necessary.

We had an excellent four nights at the Hotel Classic. The room was spacious, warm and clean as was the shower room. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was excellent with a good choice. We appreciated a fresh bottle of water in our room each day. We chose the hotel for its location as we wanted to be able to park our car for free and then we used the tram each day to travel around the city. The tram stop is on the main road outside the hotel. Our room was above the reception and right next to the stairs but we were never disturbed by any noise. We would definitely use this hotel again in the future.

It was ok for an overnight travel stop. The beds were comfortable, locality easily accessible and calm, bathroom shower hot and strong, breakfast pricey but very good.

Based on reviews and pictures I expected much larger rooms. In the room for five we got one double bed, one sofa (ok for two children but narrower for adults) and one foldable bed, with hardly any free space in-between. Ok for one night stop but would be a disaster in case of longer stay. Surprise for such a price - I have decided to pay more after bad experience with too crowded rooms and got one again.

The room was very nice and the bed was comfortable...to sit on (see below). The bathroom was well appointed and extremely clean. The breakfast was excellent! Definitely worth the price. You can't eat at McDonald's for cheaper.

I made a reservation for a room with two beds and got a single double bed and couch bed. Seeing as I was with my teenage daughter it seemed inappropriate to sleep in the bed and so I took the couch. However, it was one of the most comfortable couch beds I've slept on.

Well placed on outskirts of town. Basic room (no kettle) but coffee /beer appeared available in the foyer when reception was open. Train into Freiburg is literally 3min walk away Petrol station also on your doorstep & excellent prices & danishes/coffee if you eat on the run

Exceptional breakfast freshly made fabulous coffee as well as a bean to cup machine. Eggs were perfect the best hotel breakfast we have had. Shower super room extremely clean. Very convenient for town via the number 4 tram 5 minutes from the hotel. The hotel is just before the gas/petrol station. I am mentioning this because it is easy to miss the turning. Reception staff very helpful perfect in fact. ❤️

Selected a double bed room at booking, got instead 2 single beds to put together, which was not as confortable. Heating was not working upon arrival and had to be set open after calling the front desk contact who was offsite. Could hear loud neighbors at night. Basic furniture. Expensive "in-house" drip coffee. Early checkout time at only 10h.

The beds were comfortable and our room was tidied daily. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Tram is close.

Very basic and far from restaurants etc if you don't have a car. Noisy neighbours, during our stay there were neighbours who were above us and would be loud late at night (11pm-12am).

Extremely friendly helpful multilingual staff. A room a family of 5. Easy transport links in and out of the city. Clean, warm, practical, good breakfast, easy parking.

Entrance to the road leading to Hotel of Main Street was a little tricky. The extra bed was a proper bed and practically placed, it was comfortable but unfortunately squeaky when rolling over during the night.
