Location - quiet and nice neighbourhood. Lovely house. The staff was very kind to upgrade us to a larger family room (though we did not take it up as the stairs were difficult for our heavy luggage), and helped to change back to room on ground floor.

The location was quite remote for walking around, but closeby to Rothenburg ob der Tauber. The hotel has a long tradition which can be seen in the breakfast room. Our room was in a separate building and was very spacious. Breakfast was nice and is highly recommended. The cancellation policy (which we didn't use) is one of the best I have seen.

The bed were all single beds pulled together for a double, but our baby in the middle was slipping in between the matresses at nighttime. There was an annoying step in between our two rooms where you almost tripped everytime. The parking spaces were rather limited and tight.

It's in a cute village only 11 minutes from Rothenburg. Most people have a car that stay there but there are buses during the week. Amazing historic inn. Wonderful breakfast. Welcoming and genuinely nice staff. The bathroom was renovated and we had an awesome bath tub.

Maybe just the bed was a bit unsupportive.

We were visiting nearby Rothenburg o.d. Tauber. The Hotel is only five minutes by car in Steinsfeld, a small scenic Village. The rooms were exceptionally clean, well equiped, spacious and very warm. Breakfast in an antique decorated hall was perfect. Higly recommended, especially for families...

Not staying a second night...

A very good option for visiting Rothenburg. Just 15 easy minutes by car. Previous reviews made me doubt the breakfast, but I was pleasantly surprised: a good selection served in a traditional Bavarian setting. No cheap jams in plastic wrappers or re-heated rolls. We would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel.

The charm of staying in a traditional house where the owners are living there. The house feels warm and personal. The breakfast was very good considering this is family-run. Quiet and relaxing.

The family room is actually two rooms connected by a common bathroom. Therefore it was a bit of a hassle remember to lock and unlock the bathroom door to the other room.

The hotel is situated in a small town in a rural environment. This gives tranquility. consequence is that this is only to be reached by car which wasn't a problem for us. rooms and breakfast area looked very authentic and were nice and clean. At breakfast the lady of the house made specially eggs that were well done due to here pregnancy. So people where very friendly.

The family room was very big (it was actually an apartment), clean and warm

The apartment was not directly connected to the rest of the hotel: to have breakfast we had to wear the jackets (as the weather was not the best)

The accommodation is so beautiful. Everything inside is made of wood, the furniture is authentic. In the morning you can hear the church bells and the crackling of the wood floor and stairs. A beautiful breakfast awaits you in the morning in the rustic dining room.

We were able to check in after the reception desk closed and retrieve the key to our room easily. Breakfast was already on the table when we came down to eat. It was a lovely typical German breakfast and our host was very friendly.
