Spyros and his mother were warm and welcoming. They provided suggestions for restaurants, towns, and beaches to visit. The chef was wonderful, and the woman who was serving all day was lovely. Apollonia was around a 20-minute walk from the hotel. I had a car and, after a day driving around, I got used to all the twists and turns and maneuvering by trucks and buses (which wasn’t often). The road around the island is paved, which made it more enjoyable to drive around and see different parts of the island. Coming back to the hotel in late afternoon gave me a chance to sit by the pool with a book and let my mind wander across the endless blue of the Aegean. This is a serenely quiet location and a real escape from.daily life.

While I do enjoy a good storm, the last two days of my stay were met with ferocious winds, cold, and some rain. Although it wasn’t unpleasant to experience the change in weather, it did limit what I was able to do. However, staying in my room or hanging out in the indoor dining room/kitchen with other guests was also an experience that was enjoyable and relaxing.

Great staff - helpful, attentive. Great rooms, pool and restaurant (breakfast and lunch was good - although didn’t have meat / fish others said it was good. Location is very quiet, which is amazing, but also close enough (15-30m) to Apollonia and Kastro respectively. If You don’t mind a walk every evening it’s perfect.

We didn’t ask for much advice on the island / transport etc. I’m sure they’d have helped if asked, but perhaps could be provided during check-in (probably missing out on some commission too!). Otherwise everything was great.

Amazing 5-star boutique hotel experience. Family-run accommodation, Nasia and her son, Spiros were the perfect hosts. Fresh local produce cooked to perfection at the restaurant. Breakfast was magnificent - fresh and sumptuous. Immaculate, spacious room. Fantastic swimming pool. Great location for walking into Apollonia town and the surrounding fishing villages. We loved our exploration of Syfonos, made perfect by our stay at Gerofinikas Boutique Hotel.

The hotel was wonderful, and the view was breathtaking. The man at reception was incredibly kind and always smiling. The room was small, but perfect for the two of us – and the bathroom was spacious! While we didn’t have a chance to try the lunch or dinner options, the breakfast was excellent. The chef had fantastic energy, and the lady serving breakfast had a wonderfully gentle presence. One unexpected highlight was a sweet little cat that visited us on the balcony. So trusting and affectionate, it really stole our hearts. I’m not usually a “cat person,” but it sparked so much warmth in me that I even looked into adopting it! If possible, I hope someone cares for this lovely creature or perhaps moves it to a place where it can find regular food and safety. It truly deserves kindness.

We liked everything. It’s a shame it was a bit windy so water in this amazing pool was a bit chilly. Would love to swim in it one day:)

Everything was flawless during our stay; the view from the property, the room, the breakfast and the staff. What a little oasis on earth! You wake up to the most beautiful sunlight and view over the ocean. Didn’t see that many mentions about the restaurant that serves both lunch and dinner to hotel guests. Very highly recommended staying in one night to enjoy it; food was out of this world! Amazing cuisine and delicious options on the menu.

Our only wish was that we would have booked a longer stay! If you’re considering staying here, you should book your stay as early as possible.

Wow wow wow. We absolutely LOVED our stay here. The staff and owners of the hotel were incredible, starting off with a fresh lemonade upon our arrival. The view from the pool and the breakfast area are truly to die for. The breakfast was amazing and had so many choices (and we are vegetarian!). We really loved the toiletries, they smelled heavenly! We stayed by the pool pretty much everyday and drank Greek beer... what more could you want out of a vacation?

Beautiful property in a spectacular location its views of Kastro and the Aegean 3 minutes drive from Apollonia and Artemonas. There’s a beautiful outdoor area by the pool and a restaurant overlooking it. The design is classic Cycladic and the rooms have a lovely private patio. I can’t say enough about Spyros who went above and beyond to meet all our needs from recommendations to contacting us promptly because we had forgotten something. Sifnos wears the crown of Cyclades in my option and this resort certainly is worth a visit!

Stunning family-owned place. The grounds offer a beautiful sea view with Kastro in the distance. Everything about this Gerofinikas was amazing, from the room design to the people around us. It's so relaxing waking up to the sea breeze, sunrise and peacefulness. The staff are attentive and kind. They have an onsite restaurant if you aren't bothered to walk to Apollonia, and the food was delicious. We could spend our entire day lounging by their pool.

This hotel is modern, clean and beautifully designed on an outstanding hillside overlooking the sea. The rooms have beautiful views and are well appointed with comfortable beds and good bathrooms, also AC/heater units -- which we needed. Breakfasts were excellent with the usual breads, fruits, juice, yogurt, jams, coffee, as well as made-to-order eggs, omelets, bacon, etc. The staff was very helpful and provided much information and maps with suggestions of places to visit and restaurants. Spiros, who did many tasks around the hotel was particularly kind, and as well as giving us a ride to and from the port where we came in on and left by ferry, also gave us a ride into town for dinner and picked us up (unexpectedly) after we were done.

They couldn't do anything about the cold wind that blew during most of our stay!

A superb hotel made extra special by the warm and attentive owners and staff. Central location on the island means everywhere is easily accessible by car. The room was comfortable and we appreciated the simplicity and style of the design. Special thanks to Vassiliki and Spiros who made our first trip to Sifnos unforgettable.

It would have been better if we didn’t have to leave!
