Xerolithia is perfectly positioned in Kamares. Outside the main town so lovely and peaceful but near enough to enjoy a gentle walk to the restaurants. There is also a bus stop right outside the accommodation for those who want to travel to Appolonia and beyond. It was very nice to have a swimming pool with lovely comfortable loungers and umbrellas. The accommodation is spotlessly clean with clean sheets and towels every day. The breakfasts were excellent. Something different each day and lots of choices. All of the staff were friendly and helpful.

A minor point - it could perhaps think about having a safe box in the room.

It was more than we expected. Beautifully clean and maintained with a perfect little swimming pool. Staff were exceptional with nothing too much of a problem (if we had had any). The little touches like pick up and return to the port was a huge bonus. It is an easy walk but after a ferry crossing was most welcome and unexpected. Made our visit even better. Bus stop at the bottom of the drive to get to the main centres. A little book exchange in reception was great. Breakfast really good.

There was nothing we did not like

We loved our stay at Xerolithia. Dimitris was so kind, the entire staff was very nice. The rooms were very clean, we personally didn't have an issue with the size of the bathroom. The breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, and also very good food and we loved the adorable cats that always were around. Part of the island's charm and the Greek spirit as well. We would definitely come back to Xerolithia. The view, the proximity to other interest points, the parking... everything was just perfect. Thank you!

There was nothing not to like. I recommend Xerolithia to everyone for a lovely stay in Sifnos. I only have an observation that has nothing to do with the accomodation per se - a lady from the kitchen staff was a bit too rough on some of the cats that were around at breakfast. I know they may be too much for some people, but there are nicer ways to keep them away than pouring water on them.

Absolutely everything. Staff and owners helpful and polite the rooms pristine, location great views of sunsets awesome breakfasts good and shutling to and from ferry. Breakfast good was there 4 days never the same thing twice well except for boiled eggs and coffees bread fresh nice little patios outside rooms great pool and views. Adequate parking allgood polite staff too

The cupboard was a tad short, I wear dresses and am tall but we made it work

Warm, friendly, welcoming hotel which offered gratis transfers from, and back to, the port - even though it’s not a very long walk. Very helpful and happy to share information about the island. Excellent location, right on the edge of Kamares - an easy walk back into the village, to the beach or round to the other side of the bay. Beautifully clean and comfortable room. Good breakfast buffet and drinks and snacks available throughout the day. Bus stop right outside - we didn’t have a car, but the good bus service made it easy to get around. Lovely little pool, although space , beds, shade is limited. That said it was never crowded.

It was all perfect. (But be aware it is on a hill so there are steps and / or slopes.)

The location is convenient for exploring the port or travelling to other parts of Sifnos (the bus stop is within a 5 minute walk, as are car hire companies and there is plenty of space to park at the property). We liked being able to spend time at the pool and order food and drinks from the snack bar (which is open most of the time) at a very reasonable price. The air conditioning was very good in the apartment. There was a good selection at breakfast. The owners were very friendly and helpful. We would stay again or recommend to others.

The pillows are too hard.

Great location with amazing views over the bay and sunset each evening. Each room has its own terrace area and the beds are super comfortable. Lovely breakfast and pool area. A small family run boutique hotel - perfect if you want a relaxing break. Owners really friendly and helpful but happy to leave you to enjoy your break in peace.

The hotel is really nice and the treatment very good as well The breakfast was complete We have been to all Sifnos areas and Kamares were the one we like the most. Perfect view and wonderful sunset (surrounded by mountains). Few minutes walking to the most nice beach on the island and the port.

The property was lovely, a Cycladic hotel, with very decent rooms and amenities. The pool was of a reasonable size considering the proximity to the sea, there was both a ceiling fan and an AC unit in the room, the bathroom was stylish. Everything was clean and tidy. The property is conveniently located a few hundred meters from the port where the ferry drops you off. It’s a 15min drive from Apolonia. Staff were polite and helpful, the breakfast had a selection of pastries, cakes, fruit, yogurt, and savoury products.

If I need to be really picky about it, the only thing that could be better in our view is having a more modern AC unit where a night/low fan mode is practically silent, that allows the AC to stay on overnight and keep the temp at the set level while being silent and not too powerful to freeze. Other than that, everything was lovely.

All the staff were very welcoming and attentive throughout our stay, ensured that we have everything we needed during our stay. Excellent breakfast served by the pool every morning. Cannot recommend this place enough, would definitely book here again if we came back to Sifnos!
