From start to finish we absolutely loved our stay, the location is stunning set in beautiful historic old town of Chania. The owner Stavros could not have been more welcoming if he tried by the end of our stay it felt like we had been visiting family, he always greeted us in the morning on hand to offer his local knowledge for trips and food. The room was well equipped, fresh and modern following recently being updated, large doors open on to a balcony overlooking the street in front where I loved sitting watching the world go by. We were spoilt for choice with places to eat and drink for breakfast and dinner, as well as only being a short walk to the beach really could not have been any more perfect. We will be visiting again

Location is incredible, right in the heart of old town, but still not too noisy at night. Steps away from restaurants, shops and the harbor. The hosts are incredibly friendly. The rooms were clean and spacious, with a modern and comfortable shower. Beds were comfortable.

Worth noting, there is no dedicated parking for the property, it's just near the public parking lot that services all of old town. The lot is unfortunately not that big though for how many people will want to go to old town (about 40 public spots), so I mostly needed to drive around and park 10 minutes away on the street (still free)

-Perfect Location (5 Minuites to Old port, 5 Minuites to big Supermarket - 2-3 Min to mini markets - 3 Min to public car parking) -Clean Room -Sea view -Big Window -Good Airvonditioning -Good WiFi -Easy to contact Host -Clean Bathroom -Perfect view in one of the most picturesque streets of Chania (Theotokopoulou) -Free public parking 3 minutes away from the hotel (Unfortunatetly, there are so many tourists that finding a free parking place was generaly an adventure in Chania! Almost impossible sometimes - Leaving the car in private carparks costs about 15 Euros for the whole night)

Check in was really easy even after the reception working hours. The apartment was spacious and clean, it had everything we needed. Location is perfect, next to the port, the best restaurants and easy access to the bus station. Stavros was extremely friendly, welcoming us and giving advice where we can get rental car and what we can do during our stay in Chania.

The windows and door aren't soundproof and sometimes we had some noise. It is to be expressed from wooden windows and the apartment was never listed as such, just to keep that in mind. For us it was okay.

The owner has lots of good information and tips. The location is at the start of the old towns at the water, so easy access to, restaurants and shops The rooms are spacious and everything U need We had a huge patio attached to the old fort wall and looked across at the water, room #9 The other faced into the old town but still had partial water view U can not go wrong with this hotel

Like all towns in Crete parking is at difficult but they do come open or U may need to walk a short distance Because the hotel is so close to the outside of the old town U can drop your luggage and easily walk in and go park

The best part of Casa Veneta is meeting and talking with the owner Stavros. He is a charming honest person who used to be a physics teacher. We enjoyed spending time with him. I originally contacted with him in 2019 for 2020 summer stay, however, due to the pandemic, I had to cancel. Despite of the fact that the reservation was non-refundable, he returned me the entire cost. This time, finally when we were ready to visit Greece, I had no doubt to took with Casa Veneta! Of course, he remembered me. He recommended us good seafood restaurants where a lot of locals go. We went both and we loved them. We had a huge private balcony with ocean view + a table + chairs! Our large room was equipped with kitchenette including all utensils, cooking equipment, olive oil, plates, glasses, wine openers, etc. We loved our room very much. AC worked very well and shower room size was good. Stavros, thank you very much and we had wonderful time talking with you and staying at Casa Veneta!!!

the room was very clean and in a great location. Stavros was amazing. The room was good size

It would be really nice if the facility had an elevator. It was hard to get suitcases up and down the stairs. Additionally, we had on night where the shower drain overflowed as it was plugged. Because I have the same drain, I knew what needed to be done, but make sure cleaning always checks the drain. It doesn't take much to plug it up. Also, a full length mirror would be nice in the room.

We liked the location of the apartment, it was so close to the harbour and the old town but far enough away to be peaceful at night. The beds were extremely comfortable. We loved sitting on the balcony watching the world go by. The apartment was a good size, well laid out, it had everything we needed and was very clean. Stavros was a brilliant host and a true gentleman, he came to our rescue when we had an issue on arrival and was very informative and helpful about the area.

Great location, to explore the old town, with beautiful beaches a short walk away. The Casa Veneta was very clean, quaint yet modern and provided all you need for a comfottable stay. Stavros is a great host who makes you feel at home and offers good recommendations.

Although I travelled on my own which was not the original plan, I would have stayed a bit longer, if I had not had to return home to work.

Great location on an atmospheric street with restaurants, shops, etc. and reasonably close to the bus station if you are on foot. Casa Veneta has a lot of history and Stavros, the proprietor, has many good stories to share. He is a lovely host and communication with him was excellent. We had a 1st floor (2nd floor for Americans) unit with a sea view balcony that was great. Basic but clean and comfortable with a very good shower. Easy check-in with a door code if you arrive after hours.

This isn’t a boutique hotel and perhaps not suited for those looking for “luxury”…but I’d stay here again with no hesitation. The street is lively at night, so if you go to bed before midnight, bring ear plugs if you want to keep the windows and doors open.
