This was our third stay at Istron Bay Hotel, and it continues to impress. Perfect location - Nestled by a stunning bay, elevated over sea level, and surrounded by lush green areas. Beach access - Direct access to the beach for hotel guests. Inclusive amenities - Complimentary sunbeds and umbrellas. Magical sea view in ALL rooms - Wake up to the soothing sounds of waves every morning. Large swimming pool - Spacious and well-maintained. Not crowded - Enjoy a peaceful environment. Relaxing ambiance - The atmosphere is serene and perfect for unwinding.

A few things to note that may be an issue for some travelers, though they were not an issue for us at all: Building - The hotel is beautiful, but it has a slightly outdated feel, reflecting its peak from decades ago. Limited nearby amenities - The nearest villages (Istron, Kalo Chorio) are a 15-minute walk with a few tavernas and local small shops. A nearest town Agios Nikolaos is a 15-minute drive away. Food quality - Breakfast and dinner are nice, but may not meet the expectations of those seeking very high culinary standards.

Angelos in the bar made every evening a very friendly experience - always smiling and cheerful - he is a great asset to your hotel The staff on reception were always extremely friendly and helpful.

The older gentleman who was running the beach side restaurant in the evening was quite unfriendly to me when I went to look at the restaurant on my first evening - as a result I never went back and I never ate there. I was travelling on my own - all the other guests were couples or families, and he seemed to be perfectly nice in the way he behaved towards them.

The rich and varied breakfast selection was a great start to the day, A spacious and clean room, enhanced by a balcony with a pool and sea view, created the perfect environment to relax and enjoy wine. The hotel is located in a secluded cove with breathtaking views, a manicured garden and a romantic beach walk that offers privacy and tranquility. A clean and beautiful beach that is not overcrowded allows you to enjoy your time by the sea without distractions. I would recommend it to everyone as it is truly a great choice that will not disappoint.

Stayed for 10 days vacation. Quiet, kinda secluded, no attractions like clubs or tourist traps - staycation is the only thing they offer. Great sea water pool, when I didn't want to deal with sand I swam there. Sea itself is clean and balmy on warm days. Beach is sandy mixed with cobbles, so I bought special footwear to prevent injury, admittedly a bit of an overkill. Sun loungers are free, beach towels - 10 euro returnable deposit. 2 restaurants - one for breakfast, one for dinner. Breakfast is buffet style, kinda basic, got a bit tired of it by the end. Dinner is a multicourse event. Soup+4 entrees+main dish+dessert. HUGE portions. Honestly, there were 2 of us and we were full with just splitting the entrees. Dessert is not on the menu though, so you have to ask for it, even though its included in the price. Rooms are very cozy, I liked the grotto vibe with white walls and covered balcony.

You have to pay additionally for any beverages, which is a rip-off 4 euros for a small bottle of iced tea? 3 euros for a 1l bottle of water??? Save yourself some money - go to the closest village shop - 12 BOTTLES of 1L water will cost you the same 3 euros. Plastic trash tends to accumulate on the beach itself and in thefirst 5 meters of water so it can be yucky to deal with.

A very good hotel, what I liked most was the bay itself, both restaurants and the very professional staff, responsive and quickly helping to satisfy all your needs. Special thanks to the manager Brokos Manolis, all the Marias and the team of animator-athletes led by the fantastic Danilo! :-)

I would advise changing the umbrellas on the beach, they are old and transparent, the sun lets through them. There was also sometimes dust on the floor in the room even after cleaning

For the shoulder season price, everything. We initially booked a 2 night stay and extended it for another night. The breakfast and buffet dinner was good with lots of variety. Buffet dinner had fish on menu. We didn’t enjoy the dinner at the restaurant as much as it was slightly salty for our taste. The 15min coastal walk to Voulisma beach was nice. Amazing view from the balcony. Overall a very relaxing stay.

Minor really, Wi-Fi and data was not good inside our room. We have to get out to the balcony or hangout next to the door.

Awesome location with its own beach, a small village up the way with cheap food, we all loved the pool and beach, staff were all excellent, great view, great price, great breakfast and dinner buffets. Our whole crew of 16 people loved it so we decided to stay an extra night. Very clean, overall an excellent value. Rooms were much more spacious than we expected and with a great bed setup for the many people in our party. They even gave us an extra room that happened to be adjoining one of ours.

The parking was a little tight since we were traveling with two minivans but we were able to make it work out. The water pressure in our bedroom toilet was a bit lacking, making it hard to flush down solid waste 😬 but I didn't hear that complaint from any of the other 4 rooms in our party. The hotel is slightly dated but the upkeep is so nice that you'd hardly notice. You can see they clearly take very good care of the property.

The beach is beautifull but can be a bit crowded at time. From my lodging, it was facing the sea but we could not really see it. I believed i had booked a room with view on sea. The hotel was also overbooked in that period so they did what they could, i guess. The pool, the breakfast and the staff were great. I recommend the massage. among the best I have ever had!

Location was perfect, staff lovely and friendly, breakfast was delicious, plenty of choice in the buffet, and an an amazing wedding.

The bay looks gorgeous but there is so much plastic in the sea on the other side of the bay, opposite the sun beds. This really needs to be addressed. Seems like only one side of the bay is cleaned

Returned to Istron Bay Hotel after a 42 year gap! The hotel and staff was still wonderful with a great choice of food mornings, noon and night. Thank you all for making our stay a pleasure.
