Excellent and well maintained infrastructure. Warm, well trained and professional personnel. Work distance from city centre and lake.

The Grand Serai is an elegant hotel with beautiful public spaces. The grand piano in the lobby, the carved woodwork, the sumptuous seating areas all said, come linger awhile. The rooms are large and beautifully appointed, and the bathrooms are spacious. My bathroom even had a chandelier. The breakfast buffet had an amazing array of choices. Everything we sampled was delicious. The staff was multi lingual, efficient, and very accommodating. We enjoyed coffee and after dinner drinks in their bar area. Our server was very pleasant and very attentive to our requests. The hotel is well located. Everything is within walking distance - the shops, restaurants, the fortress, the lake. We had a grand experience, and would return in a heart beat!

I would have liked more lighting in the hallways leading to our rooms.

Very clean, beautiful and great location

The position of the hotel, very closed to the centre. The recepsionist upgraded us in a bigger room, which was really appreciated by us. The superior room was big and comfort. The breakfast was very good and abondant.

The bathroom was very small and shower is done within a tub which is not very comfortable. The water was collected and didnt go down easily, thus it wasn' t relaxing. The so called spa of the hotel consisted on a hot swimming pool and some massage rooms, no sauna, no hammam. It was not worthy for what was required to be paid. They let in the swimming pòol too many people in the same time so it is not enjoyable and relaxing at all.

Wonderful hotel, perfect location, very friendly staff, especially in the restaurant and at the reception, ready to help and make the guest's stay in Ioannina more beautiful.

I cannot understand that in a hotel of this rank it is not possible to maintain basic order at the pool, but some of the guests - both children and adults - behave as if they were on a public beach, and no one warns them about it. I didn't use the pool for a few hot days because of that.

From the moment we arrived we felt very much at home. We loved the interior design! It looked so majestic, nice art everywhere. The staff was very professional, polite and helpful. Our rooms were clean, had much space and the airconditioning worked perfectly fine. Breakfast was amazing, so much choice and very well prepared. I brought my parents along and they were as amazed as we were. We also loved the city. I wished I could have used the pool more but we had so many things to do/see in the city. We loved our stay and we will definitely come back!

The hotel is very pretty and the staff has been extremely helpful and polite. The room was big, clean, and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities and a balcony with a view of the lake (be advised though that very few rooms offer that particular feature). Great location, only a 15 minutes from the lake and old town district.

The spa is unavailable during the month of August since this is a low season for Ioannina. That's ok, but it should be mentioned on the hotel's site or Booking listing, so people can make arrangements.

This is a very unique hotel and we enjoyed everything about it. Staff were exceptional. The breakfast had everything and was very healthy. The pool was great to relax around after a swim. Highly recommend and hope to return.

Would prefer beds to be double or kingsize as our singles kept separating.

It would be great if the Spa was not closed to enjoy its services. I would also suggest to reinforce in-room bathroom area preventive maintenance. Fixation of mirrors, shower heads. A bit strange the path to use to access the underground parking; should have been more easy going and direct access.

Everything was excellent From the moment we entered the foyer our first words were (oh my what a palace!) Our room the Hotel's facilities the staff and the breakfast buffet all were fantastic. I will definitely be staying there again next time we visit. We were treated like royalty
