Great staff and Excellent service. The property is right on the beach with great views.

There is a bar on the beach with black umbrellas and grey sunbeds that scams tourists. watch out!

From arrival, it was like we had arrived in heaven. Fantastic location on the beach and a beautiful room with a view and small balcony. Daily breakfast was great. Helpful staff. Easy walk to all restaurants and around the headland.

Nothing to do with the hotel, but beware of the cafe on the beach with the black and grey umbrellas. A total ripoff joint. Everyone is aware of it, but unfortunately no warnings.

Very pretty and well constructed. Really clean and well maintained - staff exceptionally friendly and helpful. Location peaceful and secluded right next to beach.

Gym is small, not much equipment. Web site is unclear about the sister property where spa is located - it made it seem like it was in this hotel. Spa being an important part of our holidays we would have chosen to stay in hotel where it is located rather than have to walk to it. We were at end of season and several days before departure the hotel closed the terrace bar. Either keep the bar open until hotel shuts down or close the hotel and don’t accept late season bookings but charging the still hefty room prices for essentially a reduced service is not really good enough.

I thought the location was really good. We were in the mystery suite which was exceptionally large. When the wind is blowing like it does in Mykonos it’s located in the most protected part of the beach. We travelled with a 6 year old girl and two teenage boys and it was perfect for all ages. Despite not having deck chairs on the beach it wasn’t a problem as the small beach club/restaurant next door hired them out at very good prices. The deck chairs by the pool was actually a nice change from the beach anyway and was more of a draw card for the hotel. Would definitely come back to this hotel. The restaurant had amazing quality food aswell with reasonable prices.

The perfect location right on the beach. Having the hotel sun beds that faced the beach meant you didn’t need to rent sun beds that are 40 euro per day. And having a pool was also great. Platy Gialos beach is the best beach for couples. It has great restaurants and bars. The hotel rooms and facilities were quality, clean and serviced twice daily.

The rooms aren’t soundproof so you so hear a bit of noise from other rooms. We had breakfast included but it didn’t meet our expectations for the price.

Proximity to beach, restaurants and local bus stop. Very friendly and attentive staff. Pool is lovely and modern and plenty of sun lounges. Extensive breakfast offering at the hotel restaurant.

Only one small bottle of water on arrival. For the nightly room rate we were paying + being in a town without drinkable tap water, I would expect a higher star rated hotel to provide this. The exposed shower in the family room, as it makes it very difficult to have any privacy from others. The sofa bed was very small and hard for an adult, but the front desk staff and housekeeping were great, and provided us with an alternative bed.

The room was very large and complete with a nice terrace and jacuzzi. Excellent view from the terrace to the sea and the Platis Gialos beach. The breakfast was very complete with different options to select.

Some noise from the boats arriving to the port and from the bars in this room in that room very close to the beach. Although the hotel is in front the sea, there are not sunbeds on the Platis gialos beach part owned directly by the hotel to use. Sunbeds are only in the terrace part of the hotel.

We stayed at the BEACH hotel, not the other sister Petinos, and I cannot recommend it enough. It’s right on the beach and next to all the beach clubs/restaurants in Platis Gialos. Friendly staff, comfy bed, AC worked great (we sleep with it super cold), and the included breakfast buffet was incredible (with amazing views!). Pool and terrace also have amazing views of the beach and sea. It’s also right next to a bus stop so we were able to go into town easily and cheaply. Transfers to/from the port being complimentary was also unheard of on our other island travels, and was so appreciated!!

Loved that it had a fitness room, but it was small and had limited equipment

Our room was spectacular. They gave us exactly what we book and that made our entire experience much better . Great view, bed was very comfortable, AC on point and the location was super convenient right next to the beach. Near supermarket and bus station. Breakfast was excellent! The buffet has so many options and the staff at the restaurant was super friendly. I want to highlight the housekeeping team, our room was impeccable everyday and they were all super nice. We will definitely stay at Petinos again :)

Everything was perfect! They could improve hospitality training with the front desk. Overall we had a great experience.

Spectacular setting. Right on the beach with beautiful views from the pool, room (sea view) and breakfast restaurant. Traditional white and blue Greek building. Friendly and welcoming staff. Great customer service. Free airport shuttle and the best prices for island transfers (taxis!) we had all trip. Plenty of lovely restaurants and bars to choose from along the beach front and a short walk to Scorpio’s if you want a beach club day.

If I had to find fault, I would say the gym is very small and some of the equipment wasn’t working.
