This is an exceptional property. Situated right on the sea front and only a short walk to the beach. It was easy to find and walk to from the port with heavy luggage by following the seafront (maybe 15-20 mins). The rooms are spacious and comfortable, mine had a balcony from which I could view the clear calm morning sea and witness the absolutely stunning sunsets that you may witness in the property’s gallery. The facilities are of high quality and the staff are helpful, supportive and informative. Rooms cleaned thoroughly and regularly. A breakfast was included at the time I stayed and the standard was exceptionally high, delicious and varied. It is in close proximity to myriad tavernas, cafes, supermarkets and other facilities. I had an exceptional time here and was able to see the rest of Paros and Antiparos without a vehicle from the location very easily. I would not hesitate to stay again on my return to Paros.

We stayed at Alkyon for 3 nights. Location is perfect. We walked from the port and back with our luggage. It is close to the shops and restaurants. The room had the most beautiful view and we watched the sunset from our balcony. Natasha at reception is very friendly and helpful. Great service overall. Will recommend to anyone visiting Parikia.

Nothing everything perfect

Wonderful hotel - great location, walking distance to port, town, restaurants, beach, and markets. Tania and her team are fantastic and helpful. Rooms are ample, clean with nice bathrooms and sufficient toiletries. Breakfast is good and variated and you can have it with a wonderful view of the beach.

There is no parking, but you can park 100ish meters away for free during the day and overnight.

The hotel and our room were spotless. Staff was friendly and helpful. Our balcony directly overlooked the sea and it was lovely to sit there in the evening. The fridge included a freezer compartment - great. Fantastic location close to the port, restaurants and shops. Breakfast can be eaten at the outside terrace overlooking the beach... as well as a road.

Not impressed with breakfast, it's just okay, but not a great selection. It starts at 8.30am which is quite late and delays any plans for the rest of the day, e.g. when we wanted to take day trips to other parts of the island. No coffee machine or kettle provided in the room. The bathroom is dark and the water from the shower goes all over the floor. Not suitable for people looking for peace and quiet in the evenings, it's next door to a restaurant with outdoor parties playing loud music until midnight (during our stay, on a Saturday and Monday night). This is not the fault of the hotel but be aware.

Upon arriving, we were able to store our bags as we arrived at 9:00 am. Tania was great at quick responses to emails, and was helpful with telling us about the area. The hotel is a quaint little spot right in front of the ocean. Tons of restaurants within walking distance, and the port was a 10 minute walk. Our room was small, but nice and clean. We had a balcony with a nice side view of the water. The bed was comfortable! We were able to get a kettle for early morning coffee, and there was free buffet style breakfast.

The WiFi was unstable unfortunately, I could not stay connected. Even though it said I was connected, there was no internet. There are also no electrical outlets in the bathroom. Overall, I would recommend staying here

The owners and staff were fantastic! The daily breakfast was a mixture of Continental style with many Greek specialties- so good we ate a full breakfast that kept us going until dinner. The hotel is just at the end of town, right on the water and beside wonderful organized beach bars. The hotel also has a lovely patio where you can sit and enjoy the sunset. The rooms and beds were comfortable and clean! We loved every minute of our stay, but have to go back and mention the staff again - they were simply amazing!

Nothing to complain about.

Tania and Natasha were amazing hosts. Tania greeted us and then told us about the island attractions. Our room was amazing. We had the sea view room with the views it was breath taking, I couldn't get enough of it. The shower was amazing lots of pressure, the room was very spacious and always clean. There was a delicious breakfast every day where the seating was placed so everyone could take in the sea views and thank you for the delicious apple pie Natasha.There was a clothes line on our balcony, everything you need was there for a short stay. There were restaurants just outside your door along with the beach. Walking distance from the Port was 15minutes along with busses. The sunsets from Alkyon are amazing. Thank you for helping making our stay in Paros unforgettable to all the staff at Alkyon.

Hotel was on the beach. It was really clean and staff were helpful. The breakfast was delicious. The hotel is 10min walking from the port and the town of Parikia. I would say that you could easily walk from the port to the hotel on arrival. Good value for money.

Shower needs some upgrading. Taxi was arranged by hotel for 20Euro for just 1min drive. This is a rip off. The hotel use an external company for this service. Hotel could have informed us that it was possible to walk instead of only offering a taxi. Also my fault because I didn’t check. I just assumed a taxi is needed as they offered.

We booked the sea view room and it was everything and more than i hoped for, the room was exceptionally clean and had the best view, the sunsets were spectacular to watch every day. The breakfast had a good amount of options and tasted great. The beach was only a 5minute walk, which was super clear water. This place is perfect for families who want to enjoy a calm scenery or go to the beach everyday, we will be definitely coming back.

Everything was perfect, there wasn’t anything that we didn’t like

While advertised as a 2-star hotel, we've stayed at many higher starred hotels that were nowhere as good. The location was great, the breakfast was exactly what we needed, the staff were all wonderful. We had a perfect stay there, enjoyed wine and cheese on the balcony looking over the harbour at sunset. Loved that it was the quiet end of Parikia, but really close to fantastic restaurants without the hype and crowds of the other end of the harbour.

Appreciate some might like the table and chairs on the balcony looking squarely over the harbour. If you do, book the full harbour view rooms. We booked the partial harbour view rooms and comfortably sat side by side and enjoyed the sunset and wine -although the balcony is narrow. I think you still get a pretty full view of the harbour even in the partial view room due to the position of the hotel on the harbour- but at great value.
