It was as quiet as it could get in the middle of the city. The photos online don't make justice to how pretty the rooms are, also the bathroom looked small on the pictures but it was decently sized. The person who checked was in was super helpful and gave us a lot of tips and suggestions with places to visit. The restaurant had really good lunches and dinner, the puff pastry filled with chicken and vegetables was particularly delicious. The yard area with the pool was very pretty and calm to hangout.

The mattress was a little uncomfortable. we were on a room with two floors, because the second floor didn't have windows the air upstairs felt heavy and mushy.

Wonderful location in the heart of Rethymno old town a short walk from the harbour and the old town street life. All the staff from the manager to the cleaners were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is a beautiful old building which has been very tastefully renovated in keeping with the old style. Our room was lovely. We essentially appreciate the very kind gift pack of greek herbs and spices to take home with us at the end of our stay, which was a lovey gesture.

There was nothing to dislike. I could say a bigger pool would have been nice if that's what you want from a hotel, but that would be impossible for this type of building and location. It wasn't a problem for us. It was all about the beautiful building and the location.

The location was perfect, right in the Old Town of Rethymno. Bathroom and bedroom supplies were in general very good (shampoos, robes, room shoes). The employees were kind and very welcoming, always available to help. Beautiful hotel!

The hair dryer did not work properly at all and it lacked quality. There was no fresh sliced fruit at breakfast, contrarily to what is expected from a 4 stars hotel (there were only some apples and pears to take). The pool is so small I do not believe it is correct to call it a pool. It is very unlikely that anyone uses it at all. There are no lifts in the entire building and the room that we were assigned to was a duplex which made things more complicated. If you need to leave your luggage at the hotel after check-out, they will stay at the entrance without any measure of security being applied to them.

This little hotel tucked away in the side street of Rethymno Old Town was delightful. The information we were given on our arrival was invaluable and really helped us to find our way around. The bedroom was a really good size with two single beds, which had monogrammed sheets and pillows. Really big bathroom with complimentary shower gels, shampoo, and a really lovely touch was the jar with eye makeup remover pads and ear buds. There is also a handy safe and fully stocked mini bar. We had a pool view with a lovely julliet balcony.

It is a beautiful boutique hotel, rich in history and charm. The location is ideal, situated in the heart of Rethymno’s old town, allowing easy access to local attractions, shops, and the beach. The highlight for me was the delicious, local breakfast served with fresh Cretan ingredients. The rooms are cozy and elegantly decorated, reflecting the building's Venetian heritage, and the staff was always welcoming and helpful.

Perfect location, near the old castle and oldtown itself. Within the old town, you can walk it and no need for a car. The superior room was way nicer and a big difference from the economy, worth the extra money. Great size balcony with table and chairs.

It could be cleaner as there where dust on the bed cabins, floors also since is so old there is some sort of mold smell, curtains are dusty - not recommended if you are allergic. There were no shower curtains so it was a bit difficult to bathe without flooding everything. The nightclub is just around the corner so it's great if you like to go to it but there were nights when it was super loud outside during the night, also everyone pissing in the alleys and so on..

Great location very pleasant staff and lovely hotel

The Junior Suite we were given was one not shown in any of the pictures on the Booking.com site room details and while a nice room it left us disappointed. I queried this with the Manager who just said they could not put pictures of all the suites up and that it was the one booked. It’s such a lovely hotel but we felt that our booking was not valued as high as others. Our room had a large empty balcony but it had no impact and the noise from the nightclub across the road till 5am made sleeping fitful. I feel bad about being negative about the hotel because it is beautiful but the room issue left a shadow over our stay.

The staff here is incredible! The man at the front desk was one of the nicest I've ever had at a hotel. Friendly, easy to talk to, very helpful in terms of local intel and also with bringing up our luggage all the way to the room (there are several steps to the stop floor). The suite itself was spacious and thankfully the air conditioning worked really well to keep things cool. The balcony was also nice and the location is great. The pool area is small, but we always made it work, the water is very refreshing. The cleaning staff is also very nice and helpful and they do a very good job, always leaving little towel animals haha I also forgot my passport and cash in the safe after we left and the aforementioned employee went out of his way to arrange for the items to be returned to me in the next city. Really incredible customer service that's worth a lot these days!

Great location in the centre so you can walk everywhere. Easy flat walk from the bus station. friendly staff who kindly helped with luggage and ordering a taxi. Rooms were very clean and spotless.

Breakfast was ok and a good price, but more hot food selection like eggs would be good. The shower head was handheld and so it was very difficult to shower thoroughly and without spraying water everywhere. I would stay again but only in a room with a different shower set up.

Breakfast was rich and very plentiful, with the option to help oneself from the buffet with both sweet and savoury choices. The products were fresh and of high quality. The staff is very kind, warm and very professional, the room, although in the very centre, has double glazing and at night the noise is absolutely not a problem for sleeping. The building has a lovely inner courtyard where you can relax between outings.
