Strogili Traditional houses is in a perfect location and only few minutes from the pedestrian zone in Oia. With the supermarket and bus stop next door and good size pool just 2 minutes walk, it was absolutely perfect location for us and would definitely stay there again. Considering it was just off the main road, it wasn't too busy or noisy at night. Our rooms was tidied and towels changed every day which isn't something we requested but was a nice bonus. Our view from the terrace was absolutely beautiful and just what we imagined (we stayed in room 3). Staff were amazing and incredibly helpful - ladies at the reception were the most helpful when booking restaurants, trips or just giving us an advise and we were given a little gift when checking out which was a nice touch.

Breakfast was very repetitive and quite basic so I would probably not pay for the breakfast in the future. It was brought to our terrace every morning at requested time which was lovely. We had a small kitchen in our room with a good size fridge so bough some supplies in the supermarket next door when we wanted a change and would have probably considered self catering if we knew the supermarket was so close.

We had been trying to chose between so many accommodations and so glad we picked stogili! - amazing location (10 min walk to busy area/castle/restaurants but situated in a more peaceful spot) - don’t have to walk down hundreds of stairs like other hotels - staff tell you a secret spot to watch the sunset with only a handful of people compared to massive crowds at the castle - fabulous pool with enough shade/lounges (the pool was a 30 second walk from the rooms up to the top with an amazing cliff view) - a general store next door for supplies - aircon and huge shower - balcony was massive with beautiful view - staff are so helpful - highly recommend booking the ‘Angel sailing’ caldera cruise through the hotel

Everything about our stay was fantastic! The location is perfect for a peaceful and relaxing holiday, offering stunning views of the caldera. It's just a quick 5-minute walk to the main town, where you can enjoy a more touristy atmosphere, and conveniently close to the main road, making it easy to carry your luggage. There is also a small grocery shop near by if you want to buy drinks,snacks and everything. The reception staff were incredibly helpful, assisting us with reservations at great restaurants and providing excellent suggestions for activities around Santorini. All the staff members were warm and friendly. Our room was breathtaking, and the views were simply incredible! It was consistently clean, with fresh bedding changed daily. Plus, we had access to a pool that offered the best views of the caldera and stunning sunsets. No need to crowded area to watch the sunset view ! They also have restaurant next to the pool where you can see the sunset while having dinner ! 😍 I highly recommend this place for both family and couple getaways!

Our first time living in a cave and we loved every minute. The cave was cool but we still had aircon (and used it). Loved the inserts in the wall for candles... Very romantic. The shower was outstanding and spacious and a full size fridge with small freezer was an added bonus. However, the view from outside the cave blew us away. We actually ended up spending 2 full evenings just sitting there watching the panoramic view until the early hours. Would we recommend it and go back ourselves..... The answer is Yes.... Without a doubt! Simply stunning

The staircase leading to the cave is dangerous and steep (you need to concentrate) . Two of the steps are missing rocks in crusial places. Still. The biggest issue is that a few of the lights do not work so unless you have climbed the stairs a few times during daylight hours then it is very easy to trip over once the normal steps has finished. We was told this had often been reported before but is not the responsibility of the hotel.... But the council instead and the wait for a fix is long. However, we took our time on the staircase and this did not ruin our stay as this place is worth every extra effort spent on the staircase

The location was absolutely perfect, within walking distance of everything but just outside of the busiest part of oia so it was still so peaceful. Having breakfast served outside the room with the most breathtaking view was the perfect start to the day. The rooms were comfortable and had everything we needed and they have done a great job at utilising the space. The pool area was well kept, positioned perfectly with the view and had plenty of options of sun loungers. The staff were super friendly and helpful and really made the stay. I would highly recommend strogili to anyone staying in Santorini!

Really everything from the location and the view, the cleanliness (spotless!), the design, the apartment was luminous, dry, impressive, attention to details, the staff super friendly and professional. Very good value for money especially since it is right on the rocks with Caldera views. 10/10. One of the best accommodations we’ve stayed in and we like to pick nice ones in general.

Maybe the breakfast could benefit from introducing omelettes and fried eggs / variety of cooked eggs, not only boiled.

Amazing stay at Strogili! The view was absolutely perfect from our terrasse and we were out of the way from the tourists therefore it was calm and quiet, we loved having our breakfast in the morning with the sea view! There is a small shop next to the reception where you can buy the necessary items for breakfast , lunch and diner. There is a fridge in the room but bare in mind that there's nothing to cook or heat up. The women at the reception were always very helpful and gave us many practical tips (rent a car, restaurant names, places to see etc)

We were missing some small containers in the kitchen area as we had nowhere to stow the coffee or sugar and ants kept coming in to the bags.

This place is situated in the best location in oia away from the crowded main oia market and sunset domes area. If someone is looking for a relaxing holiday in Santorini with the best possible sunset and caldera view, I would highly recommend Strogili. The main oia market and restaurants are about 8-10 mins walk, a good excuse for a picturesque stroll. The bus stop is right outside the hotel and makes it easy to roam around the entire village of Santorini. As soon as I reached Santorini I had a little mishap of losing my bag in the taxi but the staff was extremely helpful in retrieving it back. I would like to thank both ladies at reception for their help in this matter as they went above and beyond. Rooms and hot tub are cleaned and maintained everyday.This place has all the amenities required for a comfortable stay in Santorini and is a steal for the price.

Can't really think of anything I didn't like here. My stay was exceptional.

Best location. 10 minute walk to center of Oia, yet not in the middle of the craziness. We stayed in one of the cave apartments, super private and perfect for us. The swimming pool was beautiful. The hotel staff was extremely nice and helpful. From Sofia at front desk to Michael the bellman everyone very nice. The restaurant by the pool offers a great option for lunch if you want to stay quiet. Amazing experience overall. And the views are beyond stunning!

My family stayed in 2 rooms here in early October. Views are gorgeous, Oia is a short 7 minute walk from reception, although you do walk along a busy road. Breakfast is served on the balcony OR if you are located further away, you eat your breakfast inside at reception (bit of a bummer). The pool was nice with gorgeous views and nice to have a bar/restaurant right on site. The room for 3 people was spacious with a beautiful outdoor area, the room for 2 was average size with a lovely balcony, very small bathroom.

I didn't recall reading the the triple room was located about a 5 minute walk (and 45 stairs) away from the rest of the hotel, and we had to walk to eat breakfast at reception. It was fine, but eating on the beautiful patio/balcony was preferred.
