We loved it! It is very clean. A greek family is running the hotel and they are very friendly, helpful and taking care of everyone individually. Breakfast at the terrace with lovely view of the Grikos bay is very enjoyable. Ac works well, also the WiFi.

There is absolutely nothing ! If you come to Patmos, you should choose here to stay, we will come back! Only thing to note is that ferry is coming to island center which is called “Skala”, it is 3km away from here you need a small taxi journey

The property is family owned and this can be felt from the very beginning. The family is welcoming and try their best to make the staying as nice as possible. The hotel is located in the beautiful bay of Grikos and from the terrace the view is truly beautiful. We also used the local bus and the bus station is only a couple of meters away. Around the property there are many local taverns with delicious food. The hotel is very, very clean. Everything was spotless. Our room was cleaned even two times per day. The breakfast is also nice and has a small selection for every taste. The cheese pies were very good.

Grikos Hotel is a very charming Family run Hotel in the Bay of Grikos. 30 mts. from Sea front & two of the Restaurants & about 5 to 10 min. walk from the other two, all with Stunning views. We stayed for 10 nights in May. We were greeted by Eleni who was very welcoming and happy to answer all our queries. Breakfast was served on the roof top terrace overlooking the sea. A great selection of homemade food , made by Maruso ( Eleni`s Mum ) she made all her own jams which included Strawberry, Grapefruit. Citrus ,Wild Cherry, Fig . Apple / Cinnamon , also delicious cakes, yogurt & lots more for Breakfast. Maruso is such a lovely caring person. Dionisis her Husband was always making sure that we were all ok and was there to help with all our needs. He booked our car for us and had it delivered to us on the day. Their grandson Michail was wonderful & very informative about the Island of Patmos. He was always there for a chat at Breakfast & made sure we had everything we needed. After our drive each day it was great to come back to our room which was spotless , thanks to Sofia, we really appreciated all you did to make our stay so comfortable. It was also very good value for our ten days. Thanks to all of you for making our holiday so enjoyable.

The hospitality at this multigenerational family run hotel is excellent! Everyone from the grandparents to grandchildren was eager to provide the most attentive, warm, friendly, helpful assistance. The grandfather is so kind always ready with his phone in translator mode to help in anyway! He arranged for our scooter which was so convenient. Only a 10 min scooter ride to Scala the main port or to monastery. Mike the grandson was always at breakfast mingling between tables checking that the guests were enjoying their stay and making recommendations if needed. He spoke fluent English which was a big plus. The breakfast spread is almost entirely baked by the very warm grandmother including 6 different homemade jams! This includes homemade breakfast cakes, milk pie, onion pie,cheese pastries …all excellent and changing in selection daily. The view from the rooftop patio where breakfast is served is so pretty. Loved seeing the boats in the small port and gorgeous water while on the patio. The value is excellent!

Our stay at Grikos hotel was absolutely delightful. The first night we arrived very late due to our ferry arrival at 00:30am and we we warmly greeted by the family. From our first greeting I knew we were staying at a lovely hotel. The family running the hotel were incredibly kind and gracious, always available to assist with any needs making our visit enjoyable. I booked two rooms, one for my mother and I, and another for my grandfather. Both rooms were spacious, clean, and well-equipped with a fridge, kettle, tea and coffee supplies, cups, cutlery, wifi, a lovely balcony with a drying rack, and efficient air conditioning. Waking up to have breakfast on the terrace with a view of the sea was so peaceful, I wish every morning started like that! They have continental breakfast with various options: pasteries, fruit salad, eggs, olives, rolls, ham/ cheese, cereals, selection of homemade jams, yogurt- you can’t go hungry. I particularly enjoyed the fruit salad. I highly recommend this hotel!

What can we say ? .....Well this hotel is like staying in someone's treasured house .Authentic people and an authentic homely feel. Wonderful reception area and curved staircase .Breakfast up on the roof with an amazing view of the bay. The staff care and do all they can to ensure everything is satisfactory .Special thank you to Michael who goes above and beyond .The Grandparents built the hotel some 40 years ago and it still maintains a family feel.Thank you to Eleni for her help via e mail enquiries and checking in by e mail whilst we were there. Grandmas homemade touches at breakfast ( jams and cakes) were so special. Nice touches like box of tissues ,coffee tea and toiletries in the room are much appreciated. 2 very good Tavernas directly in front of the hotel ,although I will review Grikos separately . ** Be aware that the hotel has no bar and there is no shop in Grikos ,so to avoid getting caught out it's best to buy some provisions in Skala before heading over .

We had a standard room and the shower room was a little too small for us .Everything else great .

The property is close to the beautiful small fishing harbor and beach with restaurants. The hotel is lovely and immaculate.Our room was spacious and it was tended to everyday.The breakfast buffet on the rooftop was wonderful!Mrs Eleni made various marmalades that were delicious!The owner and all the staff were welcoming,so helpful and kind.What a difference they made in making our stay so wonderful.Checkout was at 11am; our boat did not leave until 3:30.They told us to relax on the rooftop shaded recliners until we were ready to leave.We highly recommend staying here!

We stayed at the Grikos Hotel and our welcome by Mickey and his grandparents was so warm and friendly. The room was spotless, ok the bathroom was on the small side - but who stays long in the bathroom? The hotel is located a stones throw away from the beach and several good restaurants. Breakfast is taken on the rooftop terrace with wonderful views over the sea, there was plenty of choice - fruit, cereal, yoghurt, local bread and a variety of Eleni’s homemade jams. Only disadvantage is that there are no shops in Grikos so you should buy anything you need in the port area before you go to the hotel, otherwise Grikos Hotel is a great place to stay!

My husband and I had the most wonderful experience staying at Grikos Hotel. We had the warmest welcome once we arrived at the hotel, although it was after midnight, we were met by the gracious friendly, Stephanos, Eleni's father, who waited for us at the hotel to welcome us and check us in. The room exceeded our expectation, so beautifully decorated and clean. Very comfortable bed that helped us have a goodnight sleep, nice hot shower, fantastic view from the balcony, and the most delicious breakfast every morning. During breakfast, we were greeted so warmly by Eleni's family, Christina, Michael and his beautiful and kind grandmother too, who makes the most delicious awesome jams we have ever tasted. Michael was very helpful in giving us lots of information on the best places to visit and how to get there too. We felt right at home as if we were visiting our family. We are already planning to visit again. Grikos hotel gets 10 stars from us for their generosity and hospitality.

Grikos Hotel was in a perfect location and it made our holiday easy and enjoyable. This is the second time l stayed in Patmos . The Bay is beautiful and there are some restaurants . You can walk on the shore . The hotel is in a very nice street one minute walking distance to the sea . There is a large high ceiling entrance welcoming you to the hotel.The owners and managers ; grandma, grandfather and grandson . From the moment we met them ♥️ we felt at home . We asked questions and they answered us . The room we stayed in was big and had everything you want only downside was bathroom is small and a little bit dated . there was a balcony with chairs table and drying hanger. The rooms had a country mountain view . They have terrace with very nice Grikos bay view for breakfast and we had our breakfasts there . Jams are homemade and grandma is making them yoğurt is delicious . Breakfast was enough. We had a lovely 2 days holiday in Grikos Hotel. Thank to Michael and his grandparents . I will recommend my friends if they go to Patmos .
