This hotel is really, really nice yet very deceiving. The front entrance is nothing fancy and you would miss it if you blinked. Once inside, however, there is a tropical oasis. There are beautiful gardens that are meticulously maintained in the center of the entire complex. There is a very nice breakfast area in this tropical paradise and the food was made fresh to order. Also, there is a rooftop patio where you can read and have a refreshing drink. The property is very close to the town square and right in the center of the action. The manager Paulo was an excellent host and spoke very good English. He was so helpful that I actually thought he was the owner. The desk person, Kevin, was super-helpful and took care of everything for me.

The property is on the intersection of two main streets and the rooms are at ground level. Although it did not hinder me, and I am a very, very, light sleeper, you sometimes can hear loud groups and those stupid obnoxiously loud scooters. I would think that all properties in Antigua have this problem. Also, if you are a 4-Seasons or Ritz Carlton person you might not like the decor of the rooms. Although they are very clean, they are decorated in a sort of old world Spanish look. They are definitely not modern. For me, however, I liked the charm and loved my stay.

Walkability of this hotel was excellent as it was one block from the central plaza. Easy to establish visual bearings from the Cathedral. Our room came with breakfast included, which gave us a menu choice from 7-10 am daily; great way to start the day! Quiet courtyard and lovely rooftop sitting areas with coffee and filtered water. Bottled water available at the desk. The bathroom was small, but the shower was amazing - got very hot quickly and felt great after a day of walking or hiking. Towels were replaced daily. TV was prerecorded channels only. A/C worked great via remote. Staff is friendly and attentive.

Beds were a tad firm and bedding just a bit small for two people sharing. Sometimes the noise of the Tropicana Hostel next door was discernable but never distracting.

Monica the manager was the best, she helped book my cars, a private guided tour of the city which was fantastic, and made sure everything was perfect in the hotel. She was knowledgeable and friendly. The staff was great, the breakfast was very good, they had morning coffee service as well. The hotel is clean, well run, and the rooms are nicely done. The bathroom was spacious and clean and they had a fan in the room. The roof deck was fun to see the city. Would definitely recommend.

The staff was so welcoming! Unfortunately, we arrived on Palm Sunday and during Semana Santa when so many of the streets were blocked off. Monica was so wonderful in trying to help us get everything sorted. Oscar was also so lovely and friendly. The hotel is in a centrally located part of Antigua, within walking distance to many of the main city attractions. The hotel itself is charming and beautifully designed where you feel as though you're entering your own little city oasis. There's also a beautiful little rooftop deck where you see Volcan Agua on a clear day. The included breakfast was great and provided a menu with a fair variety of options to choose from.

Nothing. It was great.

Breakfast was ok...not much food for the price I paid. Rooms are nice although I had to change the room. The first room was in corner next to a bar and no windows. Not great! However, upon requesting a change the staff was very complacient.

They offered parking on the website but when we got there, they offered a parking lot that was located (4 block away)...ended up being more than four blocks. We settled for street parking...alot cheaper and more convenient.

this property is absolutely stunning!!! All the plants and the high vaulted ceilings, beds were so comfy - it really was amazing. every inch of the place was spotless and clean. Oscar was so so helpful to my friend and I and they held our bags for us behind the front desk while our room was being prepared as well as before our shuttle to our next destination. breakfast was included and that was also good - coffee was amazing! the rooms were so unique and there’s a nightly turn down service. this was such a cute boutique hotel I would love to come back here!

There was nothing we didn’t like - only that we could only stay one night! Will def stay longer next time :)

Rooms are small but very clean. Very friendly and kind staff. Well taken care of property with beautiful and lush indoor courtyard and nice rooftop view. Nice breakfast options included. Hotel helped us arrange transportation from the airport to Antigua and vice versa which was helpful.

The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, and very helpful in arranging transportation for things. The interior courtyard, decor, and upper terrace make for a really nice experience. There are multiple sitting areas around the courtyard, all of which are comfortable. The location is great, as it is one block from the main square, a block or so from something of a restaurant row for the evenings. The breakfast was very good, and the coffee was made available on request. There is a nice little bar. All-in-all, it was a perfect place from which to explore Antigua.

We had two separate stays in two different rooms. The first room (#4) was a bit more comfortable than the second (#2). While they were both quiet when closed up, but that made them a little hot. If you opened the windows for air, there was street noise. If that is a concern, one of the interior rooms (#5 on up) would be better.

I liked the garden and the view from the roof. Great communicating.Beds we're comfortable. Overall an ok place to stay for a couple of nights I was somewhat disappointed with the room size, the decorum and the ring in the toilet.(a,little bleach may have helped that). Very safe and secure.

Ring in the toilet the decorum in the superior bedroom was sort of dull. The sttaff was courteous but not very warm or friendly. Not far from the center so very noisy in the evenings. Breakfast the typical one was ok,not very flavorful and the smash black beans a little too runny.

What a beautiful quaint boutique hotel. You feel like you are in Spain or Italy. Best location ever, half a block to cathedral and town center plaza, multiple restaurants and bars to walk to. Luscious courtyard and roof top with multiple comfortable, shade seating areas. Our king size room was absolutely stunning, very large comfortable bed, lockable safe, English TV, drinking water in room, super dark and quite at night. The bathroom has everything you need, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, hairdryer. They changed towels and cleaned room every day. You do not need AC and every room has an adjustable attic fan inlet. The included breakfast was very good with multiple choices, they even where able to accommodate a dairy free selection, bonus! Everyone at the hotel speaks English and is very nice and accommodating. They gave us a map of Antigua and marked historic sites and restaurant/bar locations. We would definitely stay there again and highly recommend this hotel

We loved everything about it.
