Room in a main building. I asked for double bed months ago, but it was prepared as a twin which was disappointing but we put beds together. Spacious kitchen, everything very clean. Great stay

I asked for a double bed with a reason months in advance so i would appreaciate getting it or telling me in advance that is not possible. I was booking also based on the bedding choice which is not wildly available in Iceland outside the standard hotels. 8

The place was very easy to find once you get to Höfn. Everything was very clean. The room was ready for our arrival, and very comfortable. Favilities like kitchen and bathroom were complete and kept very clean.

There were another guests who had a baby that started making a lot of noise since 6:00am in the morning. We understand that families have their right to travel with their children, but as consideration to other guests in such a small space it was too early for that amount of noise. We agreed that we should go see what was happening and the parents had left their child in the middle of the dinning room by himself while they were in the kitchen cooking, of course the little kid was crying.

Good sized room. Shared kitchen ok and had a dishwasher. Shared bathroom/toilet clean and had enough space.

Both shared toilets/bathrooms had no soap in 2 out of 2 dispensers in 1 room and 1 out of 2 in the second room. The refridgerator in the shared kitchen did not have a freezer. I asked the staff (via the intercom at the front door) if he could freeze our freezer block. He said there was no freezer.

Very nice accomodation with a kitchen and bathrooms in the hallway. It was clean and self-check-in was very uncomplicated. The only downside was the other guests (who left the bathrooms in quite a disarray, guess you have to be lucky to have decent people staying there with you) which is why I refrain to count this as a negative of the guesthouse itself.

Solid spacious bedrooms, comfortable beds, very nice bathrooms and good kitchen with all the utilities you might need. Really good enough for short stay.

It might not be entirely up to the guesthouse, but just so you know, it might become a bit noisy in the evening or early morning when everybody are packing up or eating dinner. However, not a huge deal, just maybe -1 point.

It is eaasily reachable from the main road. There is a Netto supermarket in 50meters walking distance, where you can drink fresh coffee and backery products for reasonable price. Coffe for 299 kr. Self service.

You can sleep till 7 am, after that everybody wakes up, and uses the kichen and toilett, and you can hear everything in the rooms.

The kitchen and dining area is well-equipped and spacious. Rooms are clean, comfortable and reasonable in terms of size. The location is convenient - close to the harbor with nice restaurants as well as the grocery store and pharmacy. The lady at the guesthouse offered us fresh bread right from the bakery - it was delicious!

There was no soap in one of the bathrooms (for two days in a raw) and at some point the electricity went out

Simple, but neat and clean guesthouse in the middle of Höfn. All essential facilities nearby, like a supermarket, post office (nextdoor/downstairs), and close to restaurants like Pakkhús (which we can recommend). There is a small communal kitchen with the basics. There is no reception or host, keys can be picked up from a key box next to the door.

Room was rather small, and next door to the kitchen, which can be a little noisy. Beds were a little soft for our liking. To check in, you need to communicate via an intercom to a person that is not at the guesthouse itself, and that system was a bit wonky, forcing me to repeat myself several times.

rooms are neat. a shared kitchen is very nice. shared bathrooms are also good. it is close to a nearby famous restaurant. surrounding view is good.

I recommend the owner to inform guests of all rooms entry key code, not just one room code and let the guest to guess rest of the room entry code. I also recommend the owner to make phone contact a bit easy to reach him.

Room was nice, spacious and warm, despite the super cold temperatures outside. Kitchen was well kept and equipped (assigned fridgeshelves for each room, fantastic idea!). Bigger bathroom looked newly decorated and was super clean. Would definitely return.

Smaller bathroom needs some attention, bathrooms could get tight if the place was fully booked but when we where there it was low season so not a problem.
