This was in such a great location and quiet area but 5 min scooter to MG road. Totally walkable. The room was spacious, comfortable, and nicely decorated. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The common areas were nice as well, I was working while there and was able to sit on the terrace

The wifi was pretty good. It did get a little spotty in the middle of the night and my Zoom call kept dropping but they reset the router and it was fine the rest of the time I needed it.

The property was accurately described. My room was spacious and clean. It was nice to have use of the iron, fridge and table in the upstairs communal space. The hosts were welcoming and helpful and the breakfast was tasty. Airport pick up and drop off and tours were easy to arrange. The hotel is in a nice neighbourhood where you feel very safe.

The property was not very far from the centre of the city. It was very clean place. The owners are very helpful. The staff are so polite and helpful. I am sure I will be coming back in future

There is nothing wrong about the place

First of all, the staff is amazing! The location is great. The breakfast is simple, tasty, and changes day to day. The owner was around pretty much every day which gave me an even greater sense of comfort than the staff had already given. Highly recommended!

It's a perfect choice for those who are bored with the monotonous ambience of 5 star hotels. This feels more like a homestay without food. I wish they introduced some traditional simple food. The place is done tastefully and Laika seems to have collected the artifacts over the years. This place has the vibes of traditional Bengali homes.

To have food you need to go to the ground floor dining area. Better soaps and towels are expected in the wash rooms.

Charming guesthouse in Bangalore. The room was beautifully and tastefully decorated and great bathroom with hot shower. Breakfast was tasty with a choice of dishes. The hotel is well located near a starbucks and ATMs and arranged an airport pick up for me since I arrived late at night. I only wished I was staying longer!

Great location, clean room and sheets, well appointed bathroom. This is a good place if you are fine dealing with ambiguities about your dues, how to pay them. Please don't expect a bill etc. But the positives slightly outweigh all of this. After all, if you just want a clean room, clean sheets and clean bathroom, central location, great place.

No real staff to talk about. There was no one to check us out at 8 am in the morning. Wondering how much and how to pay, we were in a quandary. Another guest gave us a number which happened to be a WhatsApp number. We somehow transferred a part of the dues by Gpay, and requested a message about the remainder. Car parking is extremely limited, we parked just outside the gate, quite safe. The first day breakfast was just idlies, we gave it a miss. Didn't enquire about the second days breakfast. If you are even slightly allergic to cigarette smoke, stay away. Most of the other residents smoke out side in the garden or in the balcony, and for smokers this is a great plus point, as most other hotels do not allow smoking whatsoever. But for others, it is a no-no.

Very lovely hotel with splendid clean rooms and remarkable service! It is located in a peaceful area of the city but you can reach busy areas fast. The facilities are top standard, the breakfast was delicious and everything has a nice personal touch. We really liked the tasteful colonial style furniture. Good money for value!

Next time we would appreciate a better blanket

An affordable stay that is in a good location! There are no fancy bells and whistles at this spot, but it is comfy enough and very affordable.

The bed is a foam topper. Not overly firm or comfortable if you’re sensitive to that kind of thing.
