Location, comfort, ambience, iconic restaurant karavali, excellent breakfast spread. Comfortable room, responsive and helpful staff

Fittings in bathroom were not properly maintained, shower control knob came right off, and water started gushing out. However, staff responded immediately and rectified the fitting. Hooks should be provided in the bathroom to hang garments that are removed. Stone bench in the shower area is dangerous; if someone slips and falls, they'll hit their head on the bench. Do take into consideration these suggestions to improve your excellent hotel further.

The location is practical for business travellers. The hotel staff was particularly supportive during my stay. I happened to have an issue with my Airtel card and the staff helped me fix this issue efficiently. Similarly, while trying to get my driver from Ola, they kindly offered to guide the driver all the way to the hotel. These are small details but it did help. The refurbished rooms are well crafted and sleek looking. The breakfast without being extravagant is overall quite diverse in its offering.

The gym got unexpectedly under renovation while being there. It would have been good to inform the visitors in advance of the work being undertaken in the facility.

We were really pleased with our stay at the Vivanta Bengaluru. The front office team Synthia is very efficient , polite and friendly that impressed us the most. The location of the hotel is great and close to everything.

The buffet breakfast was extensive. The staff were incredibly attentive and responsive. The security, the reception, housekeeping and room service staff were all lovely. We felt welcomed and comfortable right away. The rooms were well appointed though a bit small. Bathroom is awesome. All the amenities and constant restocking of toiletries.

Probably less construction, but that wasn’t their fault. Couldn’t really sit outside in the garden side. Wifi was a bit spotty.

It is located at the heart of the city and there is easy access to attractions and metro. Almost all facilities are available.

They had not informed us that children aged 17yrs are considered adult. This ended up paying for that child, which was more than booking amount. They said the hotel policy is that below 15yrs are children, but they never wrote it in the bookings or the following email or messages they had sent prior to the trip date. This is very inconvinient.

Enthusiastic staffing

My second visit under the Vivanta branding, though I've also used this property under previous entities (East West, Gateway etc). Each time, upon check in I'm provided a room from the last century (outdated fixtures, grimy toilets) and when Reception is prompted to review my rooming nites, I am then moved to a room befitting my booking revenue. I should not have to go thru this after arriving tired and jetlagged.

we had break fast and lunch at the hotel ,There is a good variety but the taste was quite bland. Not some thing you will go back for. this is a budget version of Taj hotels. you can feel that in their decor , things around and supplies. I had an suite booked via booking .com. but they didn’t honour that booking saying it’s some glitch from the system. and gave me a small room but a refurbished one. the staff are really good at the reception , security, restaurants etc.

Location, breakfast, motivated staff, gym, laundry - all offered at optimum levels.

Said to offer rain shower heads, but that's not the case. Shower stalls are now accumulating limescale & soap scum (I am a repeat guest, so I know).

Everything about our stay was wonderful!! The location was ideal! Rooms were comfortable, and the beds were good. The staff, right from the security, to the doorman to the reception staff, everyone went over and beyond to make us comfortable. Special mention of Ritwick from reception and Anthony from housekeeping. Thanks, Vivanta. We'll be back🙂
