Check in was quick in spite of it being during rush hour. Fortunately, I got an upgrade and was given a cottage. Room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was good enough. In the evening, complimentary tea and coffee along with snacks of the day were served. I would like to compliment the chef for making the food super tasty. Surrounding was so beautiful and gardens well maintained.There is an activity centre, library, gym,pool, cycling etc. Guests are given a free boat ride too. Thoroughly enjoyed. To sum it up it was Serene and Peaceful!!!🥰

In the cottage complimentary drinks and snacks were placed but somehow the person who took us to the room never felt the need to inform us. Only at the time of check out I got to know. Not that it made any difference but isn't it the usual norm to let the guests know what they are entitled to? I remember the snacks had the label that if the seal is broken it needs to be paid for. Well, if it is complimentary then it should be labelled accordingly.

Very friendly staff. Clean rooms. Amazing grounds and well kept property. All facilities were as advertised. Breakfast was nice. The weather didn’t allow us to use the property amenities but they were plenty of activities to do and relax. The butterflies around the garden were amazing!

Be prepared for a long drive to get to the property. Narrow roads and not very clear directions. The recreation center could use some TLC. There was strong musty smell in the library. Would be good if it’s kept air conditioned. Games and ping pong table all seemed like had been affected by the humidity. The open pagoda idea is good but the weather may not help!

This property had everything you could ask for Grounds - kept perfectly Pool - clean, attended with excellent service - nice towels and beds Restaurant - good choice of food, wonderful staff and excellent standard of food Afternoon tea and sunset boat trip are a lovely end to perfect days by the river. Spa - treatments are fantastic and staff lovely Reception - all staff are kind and professional. Nothing is too much trouble they go above and beyond throughout the hotel.

Wider selection of soft drinks would be nice. Whilst we understand there is no licence for alcohol mocktails would be welcomed.

The staff there was wonderful and so accommodating! We booked a very large family group in a few different rooms at the last minute and all the staff were very kind, competent and helpful. The facilities and views were great as well, and the food in the restaurant and chai high tea was delicious

Wish we knew it was a dry resort but I think that is due to the state laws only providing licenses to some resorts - so not the fault of the property, but something for guests to know.

Staff is excellent, cooperative, coordial, polite, prompt. Location is beautiful. Any food ordered is freshly made, which is a very good sign.

To become 5* it should improve a bit of its existing facilities, taste of food example for breakfast buffet- taste is not something to compare for the price/being called 5*. AC in the library (which does not work, but needs to be repaired), WIFI does not work well everywhere. hence the price is high for these all facilities available. It should be bit more reasonably priced. Food quality is fine, but price is bit overpriced. Free snacks at 4-5 pm could be bit better in taste.

The staff is very earnest and tries hard to make us comfortable. From reception to housekeeping to the boat ride, they kept checking on our comfort every step of the way, and were flexible with the checkout time.

The boat ride didn't really show the narrow channels of the backwaters, but only the open sea. If we had known earlier we may have booked something separately. The fitness centre has very limited resources and many machines don't work. The check-in and check-out processes are quite slow.

The staff were very helpful and attentive, particularly the staff at the restaurant and bar. Best shower set up of any hotel we have stayed in.

There seemed to be a disconnect between how booking.com displayed options and the options at the hotel. We asked for a room with three beds for three adults, but the third bed option was either a cot or a sofa bed. Property did its best to accommodate. Change of breakfast options would be good.

Beautiful hotel and grounds. I finity pool looking onto the lake. Afternoon tea, sunset boat ride and music every evening included. Quality breakfast. Good bar. Book exchange. Quality independently-owned hotel - not a chain. Near to toddy bars - walkable. Auto rickshaw needed to lake ferry and bird reserve , but only 4km ish

You must ensure that you have a lake facing balcony, as we initially had an unacceptable car park view.

We liked the kind friendly helpful staff , particularly Asha in the restaurant & Ayamipul the life guard at the pool. Guest relations Mgr , Sindhur, was extremely professional & efficient. Rooms were spotless & beds very comfortable. Restaurant served delicious meals at very fair prices. Accommodation felt luxurious.

We were surprised & disappointed that the gym room was in disarray with broken machines & other equipment was out of order. Disappointed the promised sunset boat trips never happened due to weather on all 3 nights ? Perhaps they should not advertise this. Pool was lovely & view was stunning . However the sun beds were dilapidated & all parasols were broken. ( tho life guard was great 😊)

Superb exotic location. Received a warm welcome at the reception. Speedy check in before 2pm itself. Stay in the Family Duplex Suite - an attic villa, was well enjoyed by the kids. Room 103 is the best, because all highlights of the property can be enjoyed from its verandah or balcony itself. Also it provides a beautiful view of the Vembanad lake right in front of you. Every villa has its own hammock. Enjoyed the infinity pool very much. Evening high tea and a sunset cruise were included in our package. The restaurant served a wide range of dishes; though the price was a bit on the higher side, the quantity was lavish. The complimentary buffet breakfast was a real wide spread. In the evening there was a live concert. Enjoyed both indoor and outdoor activities, gym and cycling. Had a small library and a souvenir shop, which I didn't try. Tried a massage at their Ayurveda spa which was super relaxing. They even had a super powerful speed boat which I couldn't experience due to time constraints. Overall a very neat and clean property. Beautifully landscaped. Lots of parking space.
