Orchid Trails is a well maintained Resort with in-house restaurant, swimming pool, indoor/outdoor activities. It is away from city/town's hustle bustle, very peaceful with lots of greenery and trees. It is ideal place for all kinds of travelers - be it family, friends, group or solo. The staff is courteous and helpful. We have been to Orchid Trail couple of times and had a wonderful stay without any disturbance. The food is little expensive, need to order in advance and it takes time for them to prepare. Plus, there are limited options for vegetarian (my wife is a vegetarian). Overall no complains though.

The property is located near forest and it has a natural river on the side. More than all the staff were good. When you are looking for a place which is not the ultimate luxury but want to stay in a quiet environment surrounded by forest, I think it’s a place you can consider. The resort was ready to offer any food you like with very standard preparation time with good quality was a huge plus.

More than what I didn’t like I would like to suggest something , The activities can be improved like the bicycle and its track. Nearby river could have been utilized to do a river drafting set up. Room amenities could have been better.

Best location amidst thick forest but not not very far off from main road and Sulthan Bathery town is a 20 min drive in case of my any emergency needs. Best service. The boys were very helpful and always smiling and maintaining eye contact with the guests to ensure they are comfortable and to take further orders. The outdoor swimming pool was very relaxing. Me and my kids went to swim 4 times in 2 days. The river that runs along the periphery of the property is an added attraction. There are 2 places were we can get into the river. Just sitting on the banks and watching the river flow itself was super relaxing. There are lot of activities like a futsol area, a small fish pond where we can catch fish and get them cooked, badminton court and a single ring basketball court. Cycles available for ride inside the property and campfire available at 3 - 4 locations. The deluxe room we initially booked was just ok with min basic furnishing and average bathroom. But we upgraded to a cottage which was luckily available. The cottage was excellent with a beautiful portico, spacious bedroom cum dining area, a dressing room and a spacious and clean bathroom. Food orders were taken on time diligently and food served on time. The complimentary breakfast was good too. Boiled egg or Omelette could be added to the menu. The sound of the woods could be heard all day long and amplified during the night. Kids were enthralled by the experience and occasionally scared by the sight of rare insects which they don't get to see in the city. Overall it was a very relaxing and satisfying stay for 2 days. We will cherish the memories for long and always hope to come back again

Nothing that we didn't like but just a feedback. Only chicken was available for non veg without much choice. In Kerala we come expecting fish and mutton. And the chlorine in the pool was a bit strong to change the colour of our clothes.

The staff, especially Mr. Krishna Kumar, were the warmest and most hospitable hotel staff we have met. The attention they pay to each small detail of your stay is truly amazing. They made our stay as comfortable as possible, and also showed us around the beautiful resort. There is a small stream right behind the resort where we actually saw deer come in to drink water! They also have a small water tank for fish - you can get it cooked your way!

The rooms could have been a little better maintained!

The way customers are taken care of makes this place special. Be it owner of the property or his staffs, they will make you feel special..

Room security We asked them to add a tower bolt to doors , so family feels secured once doors are locked. Pool depth could be kids friendly.

The ambiance is very good, well maintained resort, Even in the night you feel save roaming around the resort due to proper light and cleanliness. Pool is well maintained. Games facility and Game area is well maintained and clean Rooms are decent and well spaced. Even bathroom is very big in size.. You will get a decent breakfast. On order we can get decent Lunch/dinner. Over all very nice place to spend time with family

I felt there could be much brighter lights in the room. Adding Hair Drainer would be helpful.

The resort is located next to the jungle. Everything around the resort is jungle. You can hear chirping of birds and sounds of small animals through out the day. Very serene and an ideal spot for nature lovers. The manager Mr. Krishnakumar and his staff were also very helpful and caring. They have planted lots of plants and trees like coffee, orange, mosambi etc. Climate is also good. I went on the 2nd week of november.

Food options are a little limited.

Indian Breakfast was good. Continental Not so good The staff was very helpful and supportive espescially the manager! But also all the other People working at the resort did a good job.

In the dining room the table cloths should be changed more often or you should Use table sets.

The Resort is really lovely with polite staff.From the time of check-in till check-out we were treated so well by the staffs.Couldnt recall the names,the staff Front office and F&B service was really courteous.If someone looking for a staff in calm and quite place this is the one.

Easy to reach and not very far from city center. Food was good, mostly breakfast was Kerala style with pre-fixed menu for each day. Pre-orders were taken for dinner/lunch. Very nice location with lot of indoor/outdoor games to play. Very friendly staff.

Exhaust fan was not working in the bathroom due to which there was bad smell. Appreciate if Orchid Trials team could have this fixed before allotting room. Except Jio no other mobile network works. I am not sure how good Jio network is. For those who do not use Jio, there is no other option apart from resorts wi-fi in common area.
