The walk to the luxury suite for someone with mobility issues are a little difficult, and also it would be good to have some seating along the pathways to the horse pad and also down the steps to the lake. Also the buffet was very repetitive and quality of food was not as good as the ala carte menu. We did wonder if you have separate cooks for the two cookings.

Excellent activities to keep engaged the entire day. Friendly staff who are ready to help all the time . Lake view rooms are breathtaking.. Kids will really enjoy the property. Activities include fishing, horse riding, sheep feeding, cow milking etc . Amazing experience !!

The approach to the property is absolutely horrible. It takes 20 minutes from the parking lot and it is a back breaking journey in a van. Once you are in the property, you can forget going anywhere else during your stay as it is in the middle of nowhere. Please do something immediately about the approach road!!

The place is really isolated and away from the hustle and bustle of the city. It feels like a different world. The best part of the experience is really amazing activities! They arranged a superb Candle light dinner for us and the arrangement with a special menu was out of the world expereince for us!

We travlled a lot to reach the place and requested for a bit of extended time with late check out. They said it was not at all possible!! The offroad expereince after parking is a bit too much!!

The property is beautifully located. The view from the property is just gorgeous. The property is very well-maintained.

The rooms are not worth the money that is being charged. The road from the parking lot to the main property is completely an off road. There is no road and this is not called out anywhere. Aged people may find it difficult to travel through that path. The services can be little more customised, personalised and flexible as per customers visiting the property. Luxury doesn’t mean only the property being luxurious, it is combined with services that are provided. Shuttle should be available to customers as per their convenience as they can choose to explore the property once they check-out.

This is one memorable stay ! We went as a family and our kids enjoyed the place thoroughly. The ambience is just beyond imagination - Having a great balcony view and starting your days viewing those beautiful mountains is heavenly. Food was amazing too in the restaurant. Everyday was a different menu and was delicious ! The extra activities like zip-lining, play area for kids, the evening coffee/tea party all were just wonderful. Add to it visiting the animals in the farm, swans in the little pond and horse stable - just brilliant

This was my 1st time at Destiny-Ooty. I would like to go with the good points 1st: 1. Location- amazing. You will just relish the view. 2. Property expanse - amazing and with all the activities, it is really good. 3. My son fell ill, they arranged to get the medicines for him from nearby available medicines shop (which is 1 hour away at least). 4. Servers in the restaurant were polite. Not so great points: 1. While they upgraded our rooms, the rooms did have paint coming out in many places, the furniture is a tad old in some places. 2. You have to park your car 2 kms away from the main hotel- and this 2kms stretch is too much of offroad- so u have to take their shuttle service. While the experience is good, it did hamper us from getting a medicine for our child. The manager was kind enough to arrange the medicines for him but while they promised to delivery it to the room, we were finally called to pick it up from the reception. All while taking care of the child. Lesson- always carry your child's medicines. 3. Room Service- pathetic. a. We ordered poha for our son since he wasnt well. They got the wrong dish and just serving poha took them at least 1 hour. b. We ordered dinner to the room, they served a wrong dish. And then the restaurant manager came and checked and had doubt that we were not telling the truth. he got the right dish and then double checked with me that they had sent another dish. 4. The food is Okayish. Not so great. 5. At this price per room, whether deluxe or superior, you would want at least Half Board- so not satisfied with the inclusions. 6. SPA is really not good. Please dont opt for it. Rather take it somewhere else while on the way back. 7. They are definitely short on staff in the restaurant. It takes a lot of time for any order to be prepared. Overall, it is a good experience if you just want to chill out and do not have any responsibilities while at the premises.

The restaurant service can be better. They were struggling to manage the crowd during rush hours resulting in long delays.

Excellent stay, was wondering that I would get a Lake/Mountain view room however got only a mountain view. Probably the listing in Booking.com could have been little more elaborate and detailed. We would have opted for a Lake+Mountain view room.

Nothing to complain

We enjoyed our stay at the resort which was breathtakingly beautiful surrounded by lush green hills and awesome climate. Resort had arranged various activites like the nature walk, horse back rides, zip line adventure which made the stay fun and exciting.

The resort is one hour away up from the main Ooty hence you do not have any market place nearby to buy any essentials .Feedback given to resort to have s small ship which makes it easy for travelers like us to shop for anything required.
