Property is at perfect location, just 2 km from main MG road, French colony and Rock beach area . Also outside enough to go o other places such as Auroville beach and Serenity beach which are outside main city.

The propery’s location and welcoming staff. I would like to mention especially about Sivaprakash who manages their restaurant , he is very kind and welcoming. Handles any need or situation very well. Appreciate his continuous efforts to make is easy for customer. Also Mr Uraj who helped me immediately as I was looking for a bike service later in the day and with his immediate response and he called people around the city to manage a scooty for me. Thanks Uraj. I would also like to thank Raj and other team or Ginger for being so helpful and patience. Thanks Team Ginger!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Ginger Pondicherry, and my experience was absolutely wonderful. From the moment I checked in, I felt welcomed and well taken care of. The ambiance of the hotel is warm and inviting, with a modern touch that adds to the overall comfort of the stay. The food at the hotel deserves a special mention. The restaurant offers a variety of dishes that cater to different tastes, and everything I tried was delicious. The breakfast spread was particularly impressive, offering a wide range of options to start the day on a great note. The chefs truly know how to bring out the flavors in every dish, and the presentation was impeccable. What stood out the most, however, was the exceptional service provided by the hotel staff. Every staff member I interacted with was friendly, attentive, and genuinely eager to ensure that my stay was comfortable. A special thanks to Pavani, who went above and beyond by upgrading my room to a higher standard. Her thoughtfulness and dedication to providing the best service truly made my stay memorable. The housekeeping team also did an excellent job in maintaining the cleanliness of the rooms and common areas. The rooms were always tidy and well-stocked with essentials, making for a hassle-free stay. My wife and I were in Pondicherry for an academic conference. Our hosts had booked us into Ginger. We found it a very comfortable and nice place. The service was very, very good and the food delicious. We remember a lady, Pavani, who was at the front desk and a gentleman, Gopal Krishnan, at the restaurant, who went out of their way to be helpful. Also all the bellboys were quick and polite and helpful.

The hotel was clean and hygienic and the room view was okay.. I would especially like to mention Uraj for his hospitality... Whenever I needed something he was always available. He deserves to be appreciated... Would definitely love to come back... And yes the food was really nice Thank you Chef❤️

The room was a little smaller and the view was okay... Would rate 10 if the pool would have been there at the property.

Breakfast was very healthy and fresh and budget friendly.The different types such as Indian and Western foods were served.Overall we have found very comfortable with the breakfast.The front desk operators are very methodical and prompt for check in and check out process. They are very helpfull and sincere to solve the customer s requirement as asked for.

We have found small cockroches in the bathroom.Shelves are required in the cupboard.

Front desk staff Raj and Akhil were very courteous and took care of our requirements promptly. Really great staff. Breakfast was excellent, Agnes was a great host as well as the entire restaurant team. They were always on their toes to cater to our every need. Good variety of dishes available for breakfast, as well as live cooking for making omlette and dosas, uthappam etc. Staff were quickly ensuring to refill the chafing dishes.

I liked the hospitality of staff. Very cooperative and attentive towards the needs of guests. we were attended by Uraj Chhetri, Rajesh and Satya...they made us feel welcomed and at home.

Overall a pleasant stay for 01 night, Staff was very courteous especially Uraj, Raj, Eva and all the hospitality team. Cafe et cetera's food is really authentic in taste and overall was a comfortable stay. A value for money deal it was.

Everything was good except the fact that the hotel has now been in a vintage condition and location is in the middle of the market so no view from the rooms. Rest everything was fine.

I really liked the stay and Mr Uraj Chhetri and Ms Febronia were very cooperative with us. We enjoyed the stay and would recommend anyone in Pondicherry to must stay. The room was very nice and comfortable. The service was on par. Everything was just perfect.
