This is a lovely hotel, quite fancy. The location is prime, within walking distance of lovely streets, cafes, restaurants and the beach. The room was nice and there was a mini fan in the bathroom which was a great idea! I would feel safe staying here alone as a female foreign traveller.

My major gripe is that they have a gorgeous rooftop pool but it shuts at 6pm! Why why why!!?? This could be such a perfect spot to swim and overlook the sunset but they close it! Very disappointing and a massive waste of their best asset in my opinion. I was tired and sick all day and then at 5:45 I went for a short swim because the pool was the main reason I booked. The staff even came out to warn me that the pool was closed and begrudgingly let me have 10 mins til 6pm. What a waste!

Great location. Very near to the Promenade. Rooms were clean and spacious - had a look at one of the bigger rooms with the balcony and they were even nicer. Definitely worth taking if more than one person. The hotel was clean, friendly and homey - I liked returning there to be greeted by the staff. The pool on the top was very nice - a refreshing place to cool off. And the terrace around it was lovely for the evening, either for dinner, or to read a book, relax. Staff were helpful and friendly. Arranged transfer at a reasonable cost.

Had to ask for a hair dryer, there wasn’t one in the room - but not a huge complaint!

This was the perfect night's accommodation in the heart of White Town - the hotel is in a gorgeous old building and has a real luxurious feel to it. A swim on the rooftop before the excellent breakfast, offering Western Continental and Indian options, was an ideal way to start our day in Puducherry. The room was clean, cool, and spacious with impeccable facilities. The real gem of this hotel is the staff, who were exceptionally accommodating, helping us organise a taxi to our next stay and keeping our luggage on the day we checked out - they are a credit to the establishment and really made our trip! Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to experience White Town at its best.

A very well maintained property. Quick check-in. Very good room with great cooling. Good bed and pillows with great linen. Great housekeeping. Has a reasonably sized swimming pool, though ultra chlorinated - couldn't get the smell of chlorine off of me even after a soapy shower. Nice bar and restaurant with a nicely diverse menu, good food, and outdoor seating too. Great service.

The battery in the room safe needed replacing. The shower water kept going hot and cold depending on other guests using their bathrooms.

The location was perfect to explore Pondicherry. The hotel building is very lovely and we have enjoyed the rooftop pool. They have a restaurant on the last floor which is super convenient and really good! Our room was all good and with A/C.

It would be nice to have a fridge in the bedroom as it can get very hot and it will be nice to get chilled water.

The room and lounge/garden areas are beautiful, clean and well kept. Small rooftop pool and restaurant where delicious breakfast is served are also luxurious and great. The toiletries are the nicest, and the strong hot shower is the best in comparison to anywhere I have been in the world. I used to come to the restaurant for meals when staying at another place. The food was so good and staff so welcoming from the front door person all the way up that I decided to stay at the hotel on my second visit to Pondicherry. I will definitely be back.

Everything is perfect here. no complaints

We loved this boutique hotel. We stayed Sunday-Thursday and we didn’t see any other hotel guests during our stay-felt like we had the place to ourselves. The ambiance was really relaxing and tropical. The rooftop pool was super helpful during the heat of the day & it was super clean. We loved that it was in a quiet part of the neighborhood and waking distance to many cute cafes, restaurants etc. The beds were comfortable and the AC in the room was super cold -much appreciated with the Pondy heat! We loved how clean it was. The staff was so nice and accommodating. Definitely recommend this hotel!

Super nicely furnished and decorated hotel, close to many restaurants and bars and close to the beach. My room had a cute balcony

It was quite noisy in the night. Could be though that this was just my room which was facing the streets (dogs barking half of the night) and was first floor. Was woken up by the staff the first night at 6:30 as the hallway is open and therefore noisy. Wore war plugs the other nights which helped a bit.

Beautiful very clean hotel. Excellent food, great pool very helpful staff. Very nice part of White Town not in the very centre but walking distance to most places. Our room had a balcony. Room very comfortable with bathrobes and toiletries. Safe in room which was cleaned every day.

Nothing, we extended our stay because we liked it so much

The room and the pool were clean and good. The staff were very friendly. They mostly serve european and north indian cuisine which were delicious.

Choose to walk around as the whole neighborhood is crowded and hard to find a parking space exactly near the premises. They have a separate parking space in 300 to 400 ms. Also they dont have south indian options for lunch and dinner which was an issue for my rice and idly loving husband. But you can find places nearby.
