The rooftop is really nice and the hostel is peaceful. It has a good location close to the royal palace and there are a lot of shops around where you can buy some memories. I really appreciate the food of the hostel as well !

I don’t like people sleeping on floor around property.I don’t like people talking outside my bedroom at 2.30 in the morning.

Absolutely loved my stay at Dreamyard Hostel! From the moment I walked in, I felt at home, thanks to the fantastic and welcoming staff. They go above and beyond to make sure every guest feels comfortable, offering great tips on local spots and always ready with a friendly smile. The atmosphere is relaxed and social, perfect for meeting fellow travelers. The rooms are clean, cozy, and thoughtfully designed, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The common areas are vibrant and inviting, making it easy to unwind or chat with others. Dreamyard truly has a unique vibe—one of the best hostel experiences I’ve had!

We had an exceptional stay at Dreamyard, it was such a relaxed and calm environment whilst being in a central location for exploring Udaipur. The doors were surprisingly clean- nothing fancy but they did the job and had the bonus of having curtains on the beds and lockers under beds. The bathroom was large and actually was fairly clean for dorms. They have multiple communal areas with comfortable seating and the rooftop is a highlight- beautiful views and they even do free masala chai in the evenings. The staff were super helpful and kind. Highly recommend the sunrise bike tour as well!

- We did have a little mishap with the sunrise tour we booked however, the hotel resurrected the issue and compensated us for it as well so no bad terms were left. - Air conditioning is only run for a certain period, generally for overnight when everyone is sleeping which was fine for us as we were out most of the day but this may be a problem for some. They do have a fan you can use in between these times.

The location is very convenient to many of the sights in Udaipur. They have a very good restaurant that has an amazing view of the sunset. The staff are all very nice and helpful. The female dorm room was a nice size so you don't feel crowded. Each bed has a curtain and a plug in.

The wifi is very slow and unpredictable. To earn 10 stars the beds should have a shelf and a small light because people come in and out all night and turn on the overhead light- including the staff as they bring in late check ins. If you need to book a ticket, I DO NOT recommend that you use the travel agent that is right next door, he is not honest.

Property is in a great location, very good staff who were helpful in sorting us a taxi at good price for long drive when we left. Rooftop is ideal for breakfast and couple of beers but they also do food in evening. Views from property are brilliant and nice feel to the place.

Hot water for shower wasn’t always the best but was okay so not bad enough to complain about. The toilet system (potable water) had some leaks which resulted in wet area around toilet that smelt, could do with repair as easy job but I have not marked down as not major issue :)

The hostel has a splendid location to catch a beautiful sunset every evening and the hostel makes the experience more better by offering a complementary chai. The hostel receives quality crowd which makes it a great place for solo travelers to mingle and travel together. Major tourist spots are at walkable distance. The people running the hostel are very welcoming and accomodating and go above and beyond to give the best service. Will surely be back to stay if I will be visiting udaipur again. Highly recommend!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Dreamyard Hostel in Udaipur, and it was truly the best hostel experience I've ever had. The stunning lake view from the property is breathtaking and adds a magical touch to the stay. The food was exceptional—delicious and diverse, catering to various tastes. What truly sets Dreamyard apart is the amazing staff. They were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make my stay enjoyable. Their hospitality made me feel right at home. I highly recommend Dreamyard Hostel to anyone visiting Udaipur. It’s a perfect blend of comfort, beauty, and warmth. I can’t wait to return!

I like everything

The staff were really helpful and friendly. The female dorm was good - I had a tricky top bunk with a beam on my first night but the staff made sure I could move to a bottom bunk the next morning as soon as one became available. The terrace has an amazing view and there was a great atmosphere every night; you could drink or you could relax without any issues. I don’t normally do organised tours but I did the sunrise tour offered at the hostel and it was a really lovely experience, even though at this time of year the sunrise can be cloudy or unpredictable - I’d recommend doing the tour, it’s good value for money.

Dreamyard is an exceptionally relaxed well run establishment catering for a diverse clientele. The staff are always prepared to go above and beyond their respective roles toward helping guests enjoy a full some experience. The restaurant provides a diverse menu and is of good quality, from breakfast through to lunch and dinner. They will assist with booking taxis,local tickets for shows etc and give advice on what might be best achieved whilst you are there.

There was nothing we didn't like
