After making my initial booking, I did upgrade my room to have a view. I am so glad I did this as the room had a full wall window with a fantastic view. The room was large and very comfortable. I ate in the restaurant for 3 evenings and there was a good choice of food and option of a buffet. The food was very good. The reception and restaurant staff were very helpful. The hotel is a short journey from Shimla (5-10 minutes in a taxi). I had done my research on taxi prices before leaving the UK and the taxi fare was always at the expected price and very available both ways.

The room offered was clean and a good view of Shimla. The staff in general was very polite and supportive, especially Navin at the breakfast who served us every morning. He was polite, professional and fast. At the reception Mritula S. supported us to book a Taxi the way we like it to visit Shimla sightseeing. She was very supportive. I will recommend it to other people, friends and Family.

The stay was nice and pleasant but they could change the rule of paying at the check in to the check out as the guest would like to have their room forgetting the hassle of paying straightforwad and because maybe of tiredness. It seems a lack of trust.

The location was great, about 2km from town, so more peaceful. The view was fabulous from our room and the terrace. The manager Prateek was super helpful recommending places to see, booking taxis and pickups from the town centre, even giving us an itinerary for our next destination Daramshala and Mcleodgang, where Prateek is from.

A few of the facilities were not working in the room, the hair dryer and fridge to keep our water cold. But other than that, the room was great. They had some functions in the evening which were very loud, but finished around 10pm so not too inconvenient.

Nice and clean rooms with good view if you book superior, beds very comfortable, quite despite located at the main road, kind personnel that is interested in helping the customer. Highly appreciate their service

Location quite outside the city, but cheap and quick transfer with uber / taxi is possible. When you pay with foreign currency credit card, ask them specifically to set the terminal to INR not in your local currency, otherwise their bank will charge you higher cost and it is not transparent when entering the PIN, because amount is stilm shown in INR. Not helpful for the hotel or you as guest, just for the bank. However, the issue was handled greatly afterwards, so I am not putting this as a real negative point, just a remark for all travellers :)

Nice location...away from the mall road hustle bustle as I wanted. Had booked the executive room for comfort and ease...did justice to the same. Both restaurant and room services were very good and timely. Had an elaborate buffet laid out for breakfast and they took personalized care of their guests.

Wifi service can be a little better...keeps getting connected and disconnected in interims and I was working for a day's time.

I have booked the rooms with international credit cards from Bangladesh, but few days later, I had received a mail that hotel authority doesn't charge from cards, I have to pay thru bank transfer, but all other hotels I had booked accepted payment thru card number mentioned. I became worried and after communicating thru mail, hotel management told me that 'Pay at property'. However, during stay we found everything excellent.

The main neg was that booking.com misled when they said the hotel was just 2.7 km from the start of main Shimla like victory tunnel. That might be how the crow flies but in reality google maps says 4km or 5km to the ridge . Moreover the road from the hotel to main Shimla was main road choc block with traffic not even a sidewalk most of the time. It’s manageable with taxis but not walkable and on the way back had no idea how to even get a taxi as there were no visible stands or taxi markings - the locals all use their mobiles to call them. The hotel could have warned us or made some arrangement ended up trudging back on the above in the freezing rain

The best thing happened in my trip is choosing snow valley for stay.. i liked everything from the staff behaviour, the facilities, the amenities, the comfort, the cleanliness, the location. Everything was amazing.. i recommend highly. Especially the waiting area near reception till you check in or the lenience they give time for check out was amazing..

The location is something for which I chose this place. Right on the main road and no one has to walk any stairs to reach this place. Secondly the rooms are very good with lot of space and amenities. The Deluxe rooms have good views and they are comfortable.

The restaurant staffs are lousy. Its said that they dont serve hard drinks but one can bring their own and drink it on the restaurant balcony. However I saw a staff who was bringing drinks for a table and was continuously glued to that table. Even, that staff didnt take orders from other table properly and we had to wait for a long time to get our food. Also the breakfast menu is not up to the mark. Was very disappointed to see their breakfast spread.

very very expensive according to property rooms and facility small rooms . charge 11000 from me 01 night third class view outside other building back side dirty walls … staff is money minded no support from staff we need to sleep on extra bed in winters when we booked mentioned double room on their website after paid they it’s double bed room only …what a smart cheating style .. truly make our your disappointed and uncomfortable after paid max amount ..
