The location on the beach as well as proximity to really lovely restaurants, spas and a mini-mart. The pool area is beautiful and very comfortable. Pool is cleaned daily. Breakfast was also good with many options from "American" to Balinese and Indonesian. Healthy options too. The coffee is great as is the fresh fruit juices. The food, in general, is very tasty but the spring rolls were teh best we've had. The best part of the experience was the staff. Especially the very competent and kind, Wayan, the manager. With the few issues we had, they always managed to make it better and one couldn't be angry around such humble people. Tip: Please come to Amed with cash. There are only two ATMs in the place and they often run out of money as happened to us.

The rooms are comfortable, but really need an overhaul as some have mentioned and needs a deep clean. You can see dust on the skirtings and corners and the mattresses have strange bold stains on them. Bed linen could do with replacing. They clean daily, but it doesn't seem to be enough. While the mosquito nets worked well, they could also be cleaner. I had an accident with some dragon fruit juice which didn't help either. Apologies! We paid next to nothing to stay here so still felt like we got good value. One more thing, the steps up to the standard rooms are very high. If you have knee issues like me, rather take a grounded floor room (Deluxe).

Lovely smiling faces, happy to help, very comfy bed and could highly recommend the bungalows for complete peace, privacy and outlook. Having breakfast overlooking the pool to the ocean on their doorstep was simply stunning. Surrounded by beautiful gardens.

Meals(apart from breakfast)-We would highly recommend that you take advantage of the numerous warungs (especially the one just along on the beach) , Warung Agung, and the lovely hilltop Ibis Seaview Warung with amazing sunset sea views. They all have most tasteful, wonderful food.

The location is beautiful and authentic . It’s a fishing village and you are part of it . Fisherman can take you snorkeling . The people down the road have opened a new cafe. You don’t need to leave the local area for small beautiful shops , fantasic food finds, world class massage and across the road a gorgeous gift shop. The hotel itself is friendly list I have encountered with person service and always a great suggestion or a way to help . Well appointed comfortable rooms. Made was such a winderful host and treated us like family .

There was nothing to dislike

I really liked this hotel. I added 2 nights to my initial 4 for a total of 6 nights. Great value for the money. Staff is super. They're professional, helpful, so very friendly and made me feel so welcome. Bed is super comfy. Room and bathroom are cleaned daily. Fridge, water cooker, safe, water in room. Very nice shower, lots of hot water with great water pressure. It's right on Lipah beach with great reef snorkeling. Even saw some turtles! Nice variation of breakfasts included with the room. Large variety of tasty snacks, lunch and dinner options available as well. Massages available. I will definitely return if I'm lucky and get to go back to Lipah Beach. I highly recommend this hotel.

Bungalows were lovely, Staff excellent lovely beach great for snorkeling. Food was good and a nice small swimming pool. Pool was shaded but was great to get out of the sun. Really peaceful place to stay

Loved my stay here. Right on the beach, reef is right in front of the hotel, so excellent snorkeling. Perfect place to relax and unwind. Restaurant food was good, and they were accommodating to my food requests.

I was in the hut closest to restaurant. It didn't bother me too much, but it would have been nice to have a privacy screen for the verandah. There was a privacy screen with another hut, but not in the direction of restaurant. Light fittings in room were a bit dated and kept switching off. Shower head only half works, so can't get full stream off water.

We loved the location to the beach, restaurants and our favourite spa. The easy access to snorkelling right off the beach was an added bonus. The staff were great and always helpful. The upstairs room was very spacious and we enjoyed have our own balcony. We will be back and will then try to secure a ground floor room, giving you direct access to the garden, but either are great!

The entrance through the parking lot could be spruced up a bit (as you don’t know what’s on the other side); Our only complaint were the super hard pillows, which were replaced on request.

Amazing location for rest and relaxation. My husband and I stayed in a one bedroom bungalow. The bungalow was very comfortable with good air conditioning, comfortable Bali bed. (So on the firm side). Room had a kettle with tea and coffee and a mini fridge. The water pressure in our room was very low but still able to get clean. The resort has direct beach frontage with swimmable beach offering snorkel hire at the resort at an affordable rate. Food was amazing with breakfast being substantial. And the full menu having a good selection. There are also a few other places within walking distance to eat with an air conditioned cafe serving good coffee approx 100m walk. A spa is also close by, but the resort also offer massages by the pool. Beautiful friendly staff. We loved our stay and would stay again.

The location is nice, the beach extends for a good distance where you meet fishermen with their beautiful boats. Morning and evening walk along the beach is a delight. Snorkeling is possible when the tide permits. Staff are nice and very helpful

The beach could be cleaned better. A lot of debris from the tide and boats hitting the coral reef. The food can be improved as the included breakfast is sub-bar. Our room was a little noisy due to renovation on the second floor

We loved the location right by the beach. And that Lipah beach is accessible to a fantastic snorkeling spot. The rooms were a great size and we also loved our balcony. We were on the top floor which is great for a view of the hills around. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The Amed seafood soup in the restaurant was lovely. Breakfast was simple and good. There are good restaurants/warungs very close by so lots to choose from even when walking. We also found Cafe PeoplePoint just down the road had great coffee(good cappuccino). I love that they supply the room with a big jug of drinking water. We drink lots of water so this service was very appreciated.

There was 1 or 2 lounge(s) or bar(s) right around or across from the hotel that were playing very loud booming bass music and the yelling singing style of karaoke for a few hours on the Friday night we were there. It stopped at 10:00pm, but it was invasive in our room, not only background. But other than this the area was quiet and the other guests were quiet and respectful. The bathroom floor was always a little wet from a drip by the toilet and also the rocks around the shower look very nice but don’t smell very sanitary.
