We've just completed a 5 night stay at this amazing adult only hotel in their one-bedroom suite with private pool. It was so good, that we've already booked again for another 5 nights in August and I'm delighted to share why. First and foremost, the service throughout our stay was perfection - worthy of the finest 6 star hotel. Every staff member was English speaking, super friendly, professional and conveyed passion in wanting to serve you. Secondly, the suite and property layout is traditional Balinese style, beautifully maintained, exceptionally clean and stunningly located in gardens on a long black sand beach. It was mesmerizing watching massive waves rolling in only a few meters away so definitely no swimming in the sea during our stay. Thirdly, the food at the Standing Stones Restaurant was top notch. So good, we didn't venture out of the hotel once, which we would normally do regularly. We were totally pampered by the staff and found it perfect to just relax and unwind. Good Wi-Fi through the property, even around the bar on the edge of the beach. Really... I cannot find a fault worthy of mentioning. Finally, a big hand to the staff for caring about the stray dogs and puppies on the beach. As passionate pawrents, it was heartening to see they too were being cared for. Congratulation Mr. Bari, you run the best hotel we've found in Bali and already looking forward to our return visit.

Nothing - everything was perfect

Nestled amidst the lush greenery of Bali, the Royal Pornima Resort and Spa proved to be a sanctuary unlike any other. From the moment I stepped foot onto its grounds, I was enveloped in a sense of tranquility that seemed to permeate every corner of the resort. The artwork adorning the walls and gardens captivated my senses, each piece telling a story of Bali's rich cultural heritage. But it was Villa 208 that truly stole my heart. Situated adjacent to the rice terraces that epitomize Bali's natural beauty, the villa seemed to breathe in harmony with its surroundings. Stepping inside, I was greeted by a haven of peace and serenity. The gentle rustle of leaves and the distant murmur of flowing water created a symphony of tranquility that washed over me like a warm embrace. From the elegant furnishings to the thoughtful touches, every detail seemed designed to soothe the soul. But it was the people I met during my stay who left the greatest impression on me. Their warmth and hospitality were matched only by their profound sense of inner peace. In their presence, I couldn't help but feel a sense of calm wash over me, as if the very essence of Bali's spirit had found its way into my heart. As I reflect on my time at the Royal Pornima Resort and Spa, I am filled with a deep sense of gratitude for the unforgettable experience it afforded me. It was more than just a place to stay; it was a sanctuary for the soul, a refuge from the chaos of the outside world. And though I may leave its grounds, the memories of this once-in-a-lifetime stay will remain etched in my heart forever.

I absolutely loved staying at this hotel. There were so many positives and it's one of the best hotels i've ever stayed in. Staff were amazing and the food was great. Loved everything about the room. I got a lot of peace and quiet and had some amazing food. I would easily come back without hesitation. The hotel is isolated so don't come here if you want to party as it's about 25-30 minutes to Sanur beach and about 1 hour to Kuta. If you want to come and relax, then this is the place for you.

Great place to relax. The food selection for dinner is great, there is room for improvement on lunch offerings. There is always something going on in the night. Staff is absolutely fantastic Special mention to Dayu and Puspa, who made our stay extra enjoyable.

The gang of local taxi drivers in front of the hotels door preventing apps from giving rides to guests. They try to overcharge you. This is a 10 property but felt annoyed with the drivers. Just walk up the road 5 min and get a gojek from the traffic light.

Myself and my wife were absolutely delighted with the hotel. We went to renew our wedding votes, in a second honeymoon. And the facilities really overcome our expectations. The food was marvelous, the staff very efficient and always with a smile to us. All the facilities were beautiful and the room was a dream. We were particularly happy and touched by what the staff did to commemorate our wedding anniversary.. a memory that will stay with us forever. We also advise the massage in the spa. The manager is doing a great job. Please continue like this

The staff were incredibly nice and professional. The room is super clean. It’s very quiet place for people who’s looking for place to relax.

It says when I booked that it is directly near the beach, but when I arrived there, the beach was super chaotic you’re not allowed to swim it was very dangerous. There’s no chairs on the beach. You are only allowed to see it from far so if you are looking for a stay near the beach to hang and swim this is not it, this is not the right hotel plus it’s a little bit far from all the facilities.

This is one of the most beautiful places I've ever stayed in. I was lucky to catch a last minute deal for a one night, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to afford it. But this place is absolutely gorgeous. It definitely has honeymoon vibes so being there alone was a little odd, but I wasn't the only one. I would love to come back here again if there's another good deal. The villas and property are stunning. Designed for relaxation. The outdoor shower in the villa is insane.

Everything! What is not to like ❤️ perfect location, settings beautiful, cleanliness, comfortable, tranquil, private - all staff from manager to waiting staff, to all the hard workers who clean and clear everyday were fantastic plus did their daily tasks with a polite morning, hello, afternoon! Nothing was too much trouble for you … highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

Nothing to dislike

Spatious suite with all the amenities and comfort. Large and comfy bed. The jacuzzi was a plus for a romantic end of day

Be aware that despite being on the beach front, the beach has a very rough sea and it is practically not supposed to be used.

Gorgeous hotel. The walkways from the villas to the restaurant and pools are full of greenery, exactly like the photos. The restaurant is exceptionally good. Excellent cocktails. Gorgeous views of the oceans and comfortable sunbeds. The spa is brilliant. In general, the design of the hotel is above and beyond. The staff is exceptional. Villas are excellent, well-designed. The bathtab is enormous comfortably fitting two people. Surprisingly, very few bugs and critters.

Be warned that the hotel has beach access but no private beach, and you won't be able to swim. In general in this part of Bali the ocean isn't swimmable, the currents are very strong and the waves are enormous. This isn't the hotel's fault, it's just how it is. The hotel offers day tours. They are good but if you take the Ubud tour I would recommend skipping the jewelry and clothing factories, and instead go to the monkey forest.
