The apartment is very clean, modern and extremely spacious. The pool is really big, clean and a lovely temperature. The staff came and made us breakfast in the apartment kitchen, which caught us by surprise at first (we thought they'd bring it on a tray) but was really nice. The privacy and quiet is great. It is a short walk from Jimbaran beach with all it's wonderful seafood restaurants and right across the street from the Movenpick hotel shopping precinct where my partner and I both had very good manicures. The icing on the cake was that, when I left a special shirt in the wardrobe, they carefully packaged it and couriered it to me in New Zealand. Nothing was in the slightest bit inconvenient for the staff, they went out of their way to make our stay special before, during and even afterwards.

Very beautiful property with stunning pool. Staff are very nice and very helpful. I highly recommend this property for a magical stay in Bali.

Bedrooms are directly on the pool and the only way to get from one to another is to pass by the pool area. I have 2 kids and my youngest doesn’t know how to swim. So, I was worried about her safety at night, but that’s on me for not checking beforehand. When I asked for early checkout, the property was gracious in understanding my concern about my child’s safety and they granted it.

Booked the 3 bedroom villa, but we were upgraded to the 4 bedroom. The villa is large, has a great pool and is very well-equipped. The staff were attentive and responsive to all inquiries and requests. The location is very convenient to move around the peninsula, and there is a small shopping center directly across the road with restaurants and a few clothing shops.

Not much to dislike. There is perhaps a bit of wear & tear from normal aging that could use some attention, but it’s nothing extreme.

Breakfast was good. Floating breakfast was amazing with great presentation. So while they generously gave us a 3 room villa though we booked a 2 room villa, we were not allowed to use the 3rd room. We were willing to use the 3rd room instead of the master room as we preferred to stay on the same level as we were a family. But they could not allowed us this flexibility. They decorated the master room beautifully with flowers n teddy bear for our anniversary celebration. Villa is clean and spacious, the house keepers are very polite and helpful. Told 1 of them that my daughter got bitten badly by mosquitoes and he immediately gave me a can of spray and lit the mosquito coils and placed outside the rooms. The outdoor bathtub was very big but offers little privacy. Mattresses and pillow were comfortable. Linens and towels looked well used but clean. Big love to the pool and sun beds. Water was warm in the early morning, perfect for morning dip and and lazy days. The location of the villa is rough oppt Movenpick and a handful of restaurants. So if you are not fussy about food, you can easily fill up your stomach.

Mosquitoes and houseflies. Lots of it. We had breakfast at the dining table placed outside the porch and were joined by uninvited mosquitoes and houseflies. Were kept busy during breakfast as we had to keep on swatting the flies away from our breakfast. Not a lot of local warungs to try within walking distance. No minimarts or supermarket either.

The staff were lovely and went out of their way to help even setting up a group chat so we could communicate with them, get advice about activities, book activities, order taxis/ drivers etc… The Villa was huge and we loved stepping out of the bedroom and into the pool every morning. Lots of restaurants just across the road and lovely friendly staff at the gate to help us cross the busy road. Just a short walk to a beautiful beach. Also recommend having the breakfast at least one day.. you won’t be disappointed. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay in Bali.

Having to leave

The Temple Hill Residences had a driveway all the way up to our booked villa. We were greeted warmly by the staff who then assisted us to check in at the villa itself. We booked a 2 bedroom villa and was very pleasantly surprised by an upgrade to a 3 bedroom villa with a much larger swimming pool. We love everything about the villa. We could see the sea from the upper floor terrace. All amenities were provided and the living room, bedrooms and dining area were very cosy. Unfortunately it rained on our first morning and we were served breakfast at the indoor breakfast bar. However for all the subsequent mornings, breakfast was served at the dining area right next to the pool. It was so relaxing and peaceful to eat by the pool. Breakfast was fantastic. The choices of breakfast were sent to us before arrival and we tried all the different varieties from American, Continental, Healthy and Indonesian. We were impressed with all the choices. We also had massage from the residence. The massage can be done in the bedrooms or by the pool. Very professional masseurs- highly recommended and cheaper than spa outside. We want to mention Oka who made our stay really special. She was always friendly and cheerful when she helped us with breakfast and she would give us good recommendations of where to eat and what food to try. This was our first time staying in a villa in Bali and Temple Hill Residences gave us an excellent impression. Highly recommended.

Nothing

Staff are amazing and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble. Pool and environment were beautiful and quiet, but with a shopping and restaurant precinct accross the road and Jumbaran fish restaurants an easy walk away. Rooms are well seperated as its over 3 levels with both level aand 3 having pool access. level 1 has two rooms seperated by the stairwell and level 3 has two rooms seperated by a lounge giving all heaps of privacy. Well equipped kitchen, so if you wnat to stay in and cook, or heat up some left overs its great with young kids

The Villa in which we stayed was showing signs of wear and tear from sun damnage and usage and soem parts could definalely do with a bit of an upgrade. The owners responsibility i suppose.

Huge, however very beautiful and cozy villa. Interior is a kind of fusion of modern and local style. The swimming pool is quite big, clean and much comfortable with the terrace around it. You will have everything you need in the villa. Staff is very supportive and friendly, ready to provide anything you need. They also try to feel your mood, if this is the moment you want to talk, they are ready to communicate, otherwise you are left with your dreams 😀 . Breakfast is served at the villa, cooked specially for you with wide selection (continental, american, healthy, vegetarian, local, fruits, juice...). You can also select amy time for breakfast serving. And finally, we were provided with the free of charge transfer to the airport. Villa is located on the fenced street with other villas with security, just in front of Samasta area, where you will find few restaurants and shops (1 minute walk). Muaya Beach is at 10 minutes walk distance with many local Jimbaran restaurants. Beach is not much impacted by tides, as e.g. Nusa Dua is. You can swim the whole day and every day.

All was perfect.

We booked a 4 bedroom villa and were allocated Villa Soma. I hadn't seen many photos of it, but it was fabulous. Plenty of space for the extended family, lots of different living areas (indoor and out) to relax and outdoor decks to take in the ocean view and surroundings. There were 2 pools, a small one on the 1st level where 2 bedrooms were located and another bigger infinity pool on the top 4th level with the other 2 bedrooms and lounge room. The kitchen and dining area was located on the 3rd level where they fed us a great breakfast every morning. The staff here really make this place special, nothing was too much trouble and honestly we felt we were spoilt rotten, they came by twice a day to clean and tidy up, they dried off the pool decking areas after we swam so it wouldn't be wet and slippery, and they even helped confirm our restaurant bookings when we couldn't get through. Thank you Anna, Eka and Aye and all the amazing staff! We hope to come back again soon.

To be honest, there was nothing we didn't like. Even the stairs, (it's 4 levels including the entrance door floor), didn't bother us much, it was a good workout after all the big meals we were eating!

Lovely staff, so friendly and helpful. It was great using a Whatsapp chat so things could be conveyed easily. We had many things delivered to the villa while we were away and the staff were so lovely putting them away for us and putting things in the fridge. The breakfast we added on was just lovely. Everything was special.
