Private villa with a pool, was lovely, large bathroom with outdoor bathroom and indoor shower, plenty of hot water. Air conditioning worked well and kept the large bedroom cool, comfortable bed with nicer pillows than many other places we stayed. Out door covered sitting area with large television, providing access to BYO Netflix and other streaming services

Pool was dirty and could have done with a clean, difficult to find a person to help with enquiries as the only way to contact staff was via WhatsApp, sometimes a little slow to respond to messages, but when they did top respond the problems were solved by polite and attentive staff. No functioning restaurant on site but think you could order in advance and they would prepare food for you. This place is located in a quiet lane can not walk to restaurants, but taxi’s are readily available and inexpensive for a transfer for a meal

This place is lovely. Beautifully kept gardens, amazing staff, great sized lovely villas. People need to be realistic in what they expect - this is not a brand new 5 star hotel with well ventilated rooms and around the clock service and I have stayed in 4 star accommodation in tropical areas of AU which were in far worse condition. This is a gorgeous open air villa, in the tropics, set back from the hustle and bustle and catering to guests needs as best as possible. There will be some bugs and wildlife, there will be imperfections due to the humidity and there will be what some have labelled 'inconveniences'. The cleanliness was immaculate, the staff were amazing and the villas had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. They offer a lovely breakfast, both Indonesian and western and have a communal kitchen available for guests to use. The villa also has an outdoor fully equipped kitchen with a decent sized fridge, gas burner stove tops and microwave. Also in this outdoor area is a little dining table, lounge, arm chair, coffee table and TV! Inside is a large bathroom complete with a separate bath from the shower, a small 'study' area with adjacent atrium (included in the photos for reference) and a decent sized bedroom that easily fit a cot for our son and still had plenty of space for him to crawl around. We encountered some unexpected maintenance issues, however Surya and her team worked hard to resolve these quickly and ensured that it would not interrupt our stay by communicating well and making arrangements while we were out. There is no 24/7 room service or restaurant, spa or laundry facilities, HOWEVER, breakfast times were fairly flexible until mid day, Grab is available to order food and groceries in whenever needed, bottled water provided daily and Surya is more than happy to arrange laundry service or a massage (either in room or on the rooftop in a lovely area) if you speak with her.

The villa was huge and we felt very comfortable. It had a big bed and a nice pool with two deck chairs. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Communication via whatsapp with Surya was very clear and she was basically always available - incredible. Also, the breakfast is good and you can order it in a floating tray for a small surcharge if you want :)

There is no bar or restaurant, but you can order small things during the day from a fridge. The location is not centric but with Gojek/Grab it’s fine. The whole Jimbaran/Uluwatu area is anyway quite scattered and not too easy to find things. It’s not like Kuta, Seminyak or Canggu where you have things much more centered.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Astari Villa Residence located in Uluwatu. The room and the common areas were very clean and tidy, air conditioner does not make noise, and the bed was very comfortable. Shower has a lot of pressure and hot water, the swimming pool is nice, and you have a little fridge in the room to store your Kombutcha. The hotel is located in a nice and quite area that is perfectly located in my opinion. However, the highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the manager, Surya, and the whole team at the hotel. They were incredibly attentive, always going above and beyond to ensure that we had everything we needed, and with attention to detail. We highly recommend this hidden gem to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat.

Really comfortable & cosy villa with beautiful view and great relaxing space outside with a pool. Very delicious breakfasts.

Breakfast was not included in total price although i thought i paid for it during reservation. We thought it is closer to Uluwatu area, but Riding a scooter it was a little bit far away, but Jimbaran area is close so here you have many spots to visit as well. But you need to have a scooter or use other transport service to get to many places.

Villa is nice, spacious, close to airport. Nice relaxation zone next to swimming pool. For longer vacation in Bali rather than staying before or after flight there are much better locations available

Breakfast is the thing I suggest you to avoid in this place - very dissapointing quality

We had a villa with private pool. The privacy we enjoyed there was fantastic. It was not visible from the outside. The place was quiet and big. First thing and last thing we did is jump in our private pool! We had a good equipped kitchen with microwave and big open space in the half-outdoor livingroom! Bed was very comfortable and the AirCon quiet. We even had an own water dispenser with cool water which was refilled regularly. TV was big and modern.

The place had no real restaurant so you have to use a scooter to dine out. But then there are plenty of good restaurants around. The Villa was a bit older and needed in some corner renovation. But for us this was no big deal. Everything worked and was clean.

We booked a Villa with private pool, it is a must! the space was huge and pool is 5x3m. The outside bathroom was nice and had a lot of space. There is an outside smart TV (Netflix, prime etc..), a fridge is also included. The staff can arrange a booking of scooter (around 75k/day), they are incredibly friendly and helpful. You can’t here the road from the hotel. With a scooter you can access the Jimbaran beach in 3/4min (the road is in good shape and safe). Plenty of restaurants near the hotel (2/4min with scooter). There are always dogs on the front of the hotel, they are not aggressive (don’t mind them or give them anything).

If anything, the outside bathtub is a bit rusty.

A nice property, pretty clean and well managed. The staff is amazing, particularly Surya is such a great person. She is super nice and always available to help. Thanks to her, my big group of friends was in the best hands and they all told me that she made their stay amazing. Great value for the price!

The only one not amazing thing is the location, even if it is not far away from the beach, reach anything by foot was a hard task. So you definitely need a transport (but also note that this is a Bali thing, as there are not many pedestrian paths).

Astari was a great place to experience the Jimbaran area for the first time. It’s a small complex which is nice and it was very quiet and relaxing during our visit. The pool is great and the rooms are a very good size, very clean and had everything you could want. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly.

The room we had could do with a bit of a refresh and a more comfortable bed but overall it was great value for money especially considering we booked with 24 hours notice due to our first choice cancelling on us.
