The pool, fountains and garden are the centre-piece of this charming old hotel, which resonates traditional Bali architecture. Beautifully designed, the pool was a daily refuge from the heat, could be used at any time and staff serviced with towels as required, even when not requested. The massage "hut" is alongside the pool and the ladies are non-intrusive.... this is very important because men travelling solo are harrassed endlessly when walking the streets. The breakfast area is pleasant alongside pool. Staff are real human beings and one can feel the old Bali style from them...less concerned with systems and procedures, more concerned with your well-being. Not everything is perfect but I felt that experience was authentic, beautiful and the perfect place to recover from jetlag. Mosquitos bit me badly one night and the staff was most helpful in supplying insect repellent spray and even applying ointment to the bites. A very human approach. Loved it!

The room I stayed in was one of the older ones (201). The mixer on the bath/shower needs attention.... often too hot or cold. The basin needs a plug. The free coffee and tea are welcome but please ensure that the creamer is not old and solid, it should flow like powder. Wifi sometimes did not work well but then again, a short walk to the breakfast area solved that problem. These are small problems and can be managed, though not overlooked. If one focuses on the big picture and not on minutiae, then your experience will be superb!

The garden and the pool was amazing! There is a small and not deep pool for kids. There is massage table near the pool where you could get massage manicure etc. Very comfortable that you don’t need to go and search for the salon. Uou can choose from several breakfast options, as well you get fruits and tea/coffee. We booked this apartment for several days after the flight. All staff were very kind. The sea is near, 5 Min on foot. I recommend staying here.

The room was comfy and clean, the staff changes towels and clean rooms every day. The bathroom could be renewed, but it wasn’t a big deal for us.

nice place close to the beach with friendly stuff working there . The hotel has everyday room service and change of bed clothes /towels . we’ve enjoyed our stay there as it was beyond our expectations . Good that hotel provide with a breakfast even it’s not big one . I’ll recommend to stay in this place as good quality for the money you pay hotel has massage service which was a good advantage for me because it’s better and cleaner that salons offered massage on a street

This hotel is nice but it lacks maintenance. The design is traditional, I liked the pool in the center, and the rest area. The room is spacious. The location is perfect. Kuta is the best place in Bali to stay, and this hotel is very well located near the beach and close to shopping centers and many places to walk.

In general the only problem is the maintenance, it looks very old. Another issue that I didn't like were the bathroom curtains, they were very dirty. The towels are also very old. There is no refrigerator or hair dryer. If the place was well maintained, it would be very nice because it has a good traditional design.

Room was clean and spacious, tea/coffee making in the room with fridge, air con, tv, wifi. Large resort pool, restaurant with good menu. Deck chairs and tables by the pool. Staff held our bags and let us use the toilet/shower and pool after checkout due to our late flight.

The hotel was hard to access - enter Poppys Lane 2 from Kuta Beach end. Find your way to Fat Chow, turn right at the next laneway and walk to the end to enter hotel. Breakfast was not to our liking - there wasn’t a western option - rice, stir fry veg, boiled chicken.

This review is 24th July 2022 What we liked most was the peace and tranquillity of the place. The fruit/ palm & frangipany trees that surround the property makes it very exotic and quite. It's hard to believe your only 500m to Kuta beach ! The pool was crystal clean with maintenance most days and not to many chemicals. The rooms were tidy and cleaned daily. The AC worked well and was silent. The tv had many English channels to choose from. Kettle, tea/ coffee to choose The bathroom had hot water shower over bath.

Reminder. This hotel has just opened after 2 years of covid lock down, so is only half staff. Nothing really, the Balisandy resort is a great 3 star hotel for the money. Yes it could do with a coat of paint here and there.

The environmental look of the place was authentic and well kept. The room was spacious and security was friendly giving a sense of calm that your belongings were safe. The breakfast was lovely.

The bathroom shower only trickled water out, the toilet handle was very loose and the smell in the room was a bit distracting. At night, you could hear the rats/mice running around the ceiling and walls.

My stay here was very good and I liked the quitness of the property and location. The pool was kept very clean and tidy and I liked my breakfast each morning even though not a huge choice.

It would have been great to be able to have food or room service but the restaurant only opens for breakfast, this fact should be updated on their website.

Really cool pool area (huge pool), we got room with access to the pool, which was great. They offer breakfest, lunch and dinner (restaurant closes at 5 p.m. I think). They even offer transportation services and some tourist trips (plus they can rent you a bike). You can order a massage too (they will come to your room if you want - but I recommend a massage bed by the pool, the room bed wasn’t comfy for the massage).

Bad Wi-Fi! We could connect to it at all, always disconnecting, the staff couldn’t do anything about it.

Beautiful gardens, lovely staff, very friendly hotel and great value for money in the heart of the markets.

No fridge in the room though so unable to keep cold water or cold bintangs or even refrigerate your milk for coffee in your room. They do give you creama but it curdles in the coffee and no warm showers. But still a great hotel for what you pay despite this.
