I recently stayed at one of the villas with a private pool and had a wonderful experience. The room was clean, spacious, and well-maintained. The bed was incredibly comfortable and a large size. The bathroom was modern and stocked with all the necessary amenities it was also a great atmosphere as it was surrounded by nature. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, making me feel welcomed throughout my stay. I highly recommend this hotel room for anyone looking for a comfortable, peaceful and enjoyable stay. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

The location was a little far from the main Ubud area however the hotel offered free shuttle everyday which was a great offer.

We are a family of 5 and the villas were very nice. The hotel personal was very kind all the time, willing to help whit every question we had. The food choices for breakfast were amazing and all in all it was very tasty. The Villas are a bit far from Ubud, but they have a free ride three times a day, so this is very usefull if you travel as a family.

You can see some parts that would need renewing.

A slice of paradise in the most stunning location. After the busyness and heavy traffic of Bali, retreating to recharge in the middle of the jungle was such a welcome treat. My villa was so comfortable, spacious and private, and I particularly loved the outdoor bathroom! The pool was perfect, and I loved the occasional visits to my property of animals such as lizards (remember you’re in the jungle). The staff were outstanding - it really felt like nothing was too much to ask of these warm and hospitable employees. Finally, the restaurant was brilliant: a very expansive breakfast, lunch and dinner menu to suit all tastes. The staff were also happy to make accommodations for dietary needs. If I come back to Bali again, this will be the first accommodation I book!

I noticed a slight lack of security - neither of the doors to my villa sealed fully, leaving a 2cm gap between the doors and the frames, even when locked. Given that the doors didn’t feel sturdy, I couldn’t help but feel they could easily be prized open in the unlikely event that a thief was nearby, despite the locks. Furthermore, some aspects of my villa were a little worn, especially on the outside (e.g. wooden panelling that needed repainting or replacing).

Every interaction with them was a delight—they were attentive, friendly, and always ready to go the extra mile. The villa itself was nothing short of spectacular. It offered a perfect blend of luxury and tranquility, with elegant decor and plenty of space to unwind. The private pool was a highlight for me—a serene oasis where I could relax and enjoy Bali's natural beauty in complete privacy. The dining experience was equally exceptional. Every meal I had was a treat for the senses, with fresh, flavorful dishes that showcased the best of Balinese cuisine. The chefs clearly put so much care into crafting each dish, and it showed in every bite. Senetan Villa & Spa Resort provided the perfect blend of luxury, relaxation, and authentic Balinese hospitality. I left feeling refreshed, pampered, and already dreaming of my next visit. There was nothing not to LIKE!

Everything! The location, the decor, the people, the grounds, the food. All amazing! We arrived as a large group, in the evening, after a long day of travelling, and was greeted with flower garlands, welcome drinks and a complimentary foot rub, even for the children. We were given a quick tour of the stunning grounds, and shown to our villas, which were beautiful! So much lush greenery, inside/outside living areas and gorgeous pools. We were a little dubious about mosquitos with being in the jungle, but during our 4 night stay, none of us got bitten. We did see wildlife - frogs, lizards, snakes, butterflies and spiders, but all were harmless, and we enjoyed seeing them. Food in the restaurant was delicious, there was a good variety, and service was exceptional. There’s loads to do in Ubud, we wish we had booked longer in that area. We also enjoyed a complimentary couples massage whilst at Senetan. After we checked out, the cleaners found my son’s AirPods in his room, which they very kindly couriered to our next stay in Sanur, free of charge. Senetan Villas was our favourite accommodation whilst in Bali, and it was also the best value for money. Highly recommended!

The service was awesome. Me and my colleagues arrived in the middle of the night, around 12.00 am, but the host still greeted us with a warm welcome. We were also treated to a flower necklace/garland, welcome drink, and relaxing & fragrant hand towel. They truly know how to treat their cust after a long day. The service in the dining room during breakfast was also exceptional, making us feel like we were at home. Lastly, the vibe of the villa felt like so much 'Ubud'. Thank u!

The hot tub was a bit dirty with a couple of insects present. Additionally, the water flow was very weak, resulting in a long wait for the tub to fill up

For me the location was perfect because it was an introvert’s dream; quiet and peaceful. The service was exceptional, staff was friendly and happy to meet all our needs, the food was wonderful. We had a large private pool. The grounds were beautiful, everything was very clean, and we were still close enough to shopping, restaurants, and excursions so that we could divide our time between lounging by the pool and relaxing, and going out for a day or night on the town. We stayed for 12 nights for our honeymoon and got the honeymoon package, which was a great value and we really felt that the staff went above and beyond to make our time there special. Highly recommend!

The stafff was so friendly with such a nice welcome drink.specially the staff at the restaurant.they prepare our food very fast and they were charming and respectfull.the room was big and spacious and clean big bed.The ambiance is so peacefull very private .if you are a nature lover this is the place.The flora and fiona was great very well maintained.staffs are very respectfull.Its good that they have shuttle service to drove us to Ubud proper and pick us up at a certain time.This place is really good for relaxation.

The lock at our room door keeps on getting stuck.the bathroom was nice but bugs and insects are flying inside since its an open bathroom.should have at least a thin curtain attach to the open space to avoid bugs and insects from coming in.

Our two bedroom villa was very clean, comfortable and quiet - and it was amazing to swim in our private pool surrounded by jungle. Lovely indoor-outdoor living design, even better than the photos, and yet we saw very few insects. The staff are extremely kind and helpful. Excellent included breakfast and the afternoon tea was a nice touch, as was the welcome drink and foot massage. Drinking water is also included. Lots of choices in the restaurant for lunch and dinner, and they will bring meals and drinks to your villa for no extra charge if you prefer to eat there. They were also very understanding of my son's food allergies and adjusted his meals accordingly. My daughter and I enjoyed a lovely massage together onsite. Nice to be away from the chaos of Ubud, but there is a complementary shuttle bus there and back three times a day if you wish. It's also a good location for sunrise trekking in the mountains as it's on the way to Kintamani.

The kitchenette wasn't equipped with any pans, plates or cutlery etc but maybe if you ask they will supply (and not sure why you would need to cook anyway given the extensive restaurant and room service menu), there are small fridges in the bedrooms. If using Grab to get there double check the address you select as it gave us two possible locations for Senetan Villas, both quite close to each other but we went to the wrong one first. It is also well signposted from the main road if you keep a look out on the left as you come up from Ubud.

The property was very nice and spaced out. Landscaping was very nice and we had a nice welcome greeting. They offer a shuttle to Ubud but you may be better staying in Ubud. This is more of a transition property on your way up to AMED or something…you don’t need to stay long.

Since we were there, and June, it was a little bit chillier than we anticipated. We ordered breakfast in the pool and we weren’t able to actually get in the pool.😂 we got upgraded a room on our first night since our air-conditioning had broken. I would’ve preferred to stay in the upgraded room for the inconvenience, but ours was fixed the next day. Some of the staff in the restaurant do not speak English, so you have to be very clear when you order something. Very sweet people, but this was a bit of a struggle.
