Our well located private hut aside a large pool in a quiet area. It was a short walk to the beach where we could snorkel at the Biorock project area - impressive variety of fish and coral direct from the beach. A short walk to a good choice of food options (Warung Manis was the best Balinese) and coffee on the main road (kopi Ku'Bull barista!). Quiet setting. A good selection of breakfast options. Loved our private outdoor shower. Lovely staff. Booked a village tour and Menhanjan Island snorkelling trip through our host. Also, our transfer from Sanur to Pemuteran - excellent driver stopping at twin Lakes, temple and a waterfall on the way. All very good. All up great value stay and recommended. Right for the price.

Nothing disliked. The air conditioning system was great as the room gets hot. A simple wall-mounted fan may be useful as another option when air-conditioning is not needed.

Location is great - beach side of Pemuteran, half way between the main street for local eateries and the beach for resort bars and access to snorkelling etc. Staff were also great - arranging laundry, transport and activities if you wished but with no pressure applied - you just need to ask them for help. Kadek organised transport for us on a big festival day, managing to arrange a share with another couple as there were limited drivers available that day (which also saved us money as a bonus!). Pool was extremely pleasant and we enjoyed a massage on site also, at a very reasonable price.

The staff were really friendly and the location was amazing. The pool is also nice and the price per night was excellent.

The hotel seems to be getting older and isn't as well maintained as it should be. Our main door and bathroom door didn't close completely and the main door definitely needs repair. Only one towel per person in the bathroom is also not a lot, at least one extra smaller one for drying hands would be great.

My stay in Kubu Padi has been great! Staff is very kind and helpful, they upgraded my to a Bungalow which had a super clean and new outdoor bathroom with shower. The bed is comfy and new, there's a nice pool and you have everything walking distance (nice warung, little markets). Beach and dive shops are close. The pool is a little warm but crystal clean. The facility is new and well maintained, in a quite road away from main road traffic and noise. The best accomodation in my long stay in Bali and a great value for money.

We loved our stay at Kubu Padi. The staff were wonderful, responsive and incredibly helpful. The grounds and wooden rooms are delightful - expect to see and hear lots of gheckos - which are great for keeping away the bugs! Pemuteran was a lovely village with some excellent local warungs for eating options. Beach was an easy 5 minute walk away and the locals friendly. We had a mini fridge in our room which was great! Also appreciated the filtered water refills provided. We would definitely stay here again - fantastic value for money.Thankyou!

Lovely place. Lovely gardens. Lovely people. Easy to get to the beach and the main road. Hot shower though it had to be fixed. Wifi was good. The breakfast was ok.

This would get a 9 or even 9.5 but the bathroom was dark and damp, and smelled of damp. There appeared to be no airbrick to let air in and out.

My wooden house was private while being right next to the pool, the staff were so kind and accomodating, lovely Kadek even lent me his bike so I could pedal to Pulaki temple for sunset, it was a highlight of my stay 🌅 it was a short and lovely stroll to the beach too :) I loved staying at this gem in Permuteran. Thank you Kubu padi!!

Nothing, it was wonderful

We chose fresh fruit and scrambled eggs with fresh juice and coffee - every breakfast was delicious. Our wooden house was air conditioned, clean, tidy and very comfortable. We had a fridge as requested. The reception, gardens, eating area and pool were all immaculate very well cared for. All the staff were friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our four night stay

Kubu Padi was an awesome place to stay. We were a family of 4, from New Zealand and stayed here for 3 nights. We were greeted with a welcoming lemon drink and Kadek checked us in (he made an effort to remember all our names). All staff were amazing. We were able to check in early. The Pool was great!!!! Well kept grounds. We were offered to have our rooms cleaned every day. Great clean outside bathrooms. Awesome showers. Concrete gym on site for the active rester, and the breakfast was delicious. The rooms and bed were very comfortable. We requested a fridge which was put in our room. Kubu Pasi is a 2 min walk to the beach, access via a resort on the beach. Down at the beach was great snorkelling as this beach has Bio Rock coral restoration project. A short walk from here was a Turtle sanctuary where we were able to release a baby turtle into the sea and follow it (with snorkel and mask) as it swam away. Although there is no meals on site except breakfast (this is something they want to work on) there are two fantastic Warongs a short walk away, and also the resort near the beach for western food. We loved everything, snorkelled every day and really don’t want to leave this very affordable accommodation.

We had an amazing time here. The staff were very welcoming and went out of their way to help and accommodate us. This started when we were picked up from the harbour in the middle of the night by the friendly owner and continued throughout our stay. At the property, we particularly enjoyed the big pool and the clean and beautiful surroundings. The location of the property is relaxed and quiet, close to the beach and with some nice restaurants nearby. Also there are great snorkelling options, both at the nearby beach and at Menjangan island. The team is happy to arrange a tour or a driver. We hope to stay here again in the future!
