Well kept, quiet hotel. Large rooms and friendly staff.

It is a shame that there is no onsite restaurant or bar. Being able to order food and drinks around the pool would have been lovely. There are plenty of options nearby, but sometimes you just wanted to stay put.

delightful and all the staffs from the cleaners to the reception were exactly what I would hope for and were not disappointed- location is excellent, 200 mtres from the beach and great restaurants. Anyone who complains will be nitpicking boring entitled morons and stay somewhere else as you’d spoil it for others - Prices very fair, stayed in place twice the price and maybe about the same but I don’t see much point paying Australian prices in Bali, especially if you consider the difference in overheads. Amazing friendly honest staff, location (close to beach) across the road from sports bar, pool area, security. Accidental left $100 on my bed went out, room was cleaned money was still there hen I returned, was reported to front desk money was left in room. Was extremely thankful for their honesty, even tipped room cleaners to say thank you. Would love to come back to Aquarius

We've stayed at Aquarius 3 times now. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Beds and pillows are very comfortable. Facilities are very clean. Is about 2 kilometres from the fast boat terminal. And 200m from Sanur beach.

There’s so much to write but I’d try to point down a few: This was our last stop before ending our honeymoon (a 5 week holiday, 4 weeks in Vietnam and only 1 week in Bali) and we loved our stay at Aquarius Beach Hotel. Staff was so so friendly and the room was spacious and very clean. We mentioned we were there for our honeymoon and they had placed a beautiful swan and some flowers in our room. Maybe that’s normal practice - but it was a lovely surprise to us anyway! The pictures of the pool area honestly doesn’t make it justice as it was bigger than we thought and had more sunbeds too! Water was nice and warm, I bet some people think it’s too hot but we thought it was perfect. For the pool you get a different towel but you could just sign how many you like out at the reception and change them whenever you need. The location is just a 5 minute walk from the beach. Everyday when you saw a staff member they always waved and smiled and greeted you. You get 2 free water bottles a 600ml everyday, wifi good from rooms and they have a separate one from the pool to keep signal alright. Even though there was a the big garden outside there was barely any insects disturbing in our room. We had heard/read about some places charging for stains on towels and being shady but this place doesn’t and didn’t event double check the room when we checked out - so they put trust into you as their guest! We would love to stay here again whenever we’d go back to Sanur.

It doesn’t get completely dark due to the big big lovely doors out to the balconies, which didn’t disturb us at all but good to know for light sleepers!

Small in size but big in happy, helpful staff. Large aircon room, good hot shower. Breakfast may or may not be included as you wish. Off the beach but only a 3 minute walk away. Good food close by either local warongs or beach restaurants. This is our second stay and would be happy to stay again.

Nothing that stood out enough to warrant complaint

Quiet, nice surroundings, close to the Sanur Beach path, Ceiling fan, fast wifi, very nice staff. I only stayed for one night but I will return. I live on Bali and have stayed in many Hotels over the years and Aquarius is one of the best. The Booking.com description matches what you get which is rare these days on Bali.

The staff was nice and helpfull, they accommodated our special requests. Swimming pool was good, cca 10m long, clean. Rooms were spacious and comfortable, cleaned every day. The same owner has also a restaurant on the beach (which is 2min walking) and a spa with great massages.

The location is brilliant! Just 2min from the beach, 5min from the night market and main road with general amenities (mart, currency exchange, etc.) Literally across the road is a good bar with live music. There is also Bull’s cafe 1min away where you can get some really nice coffees, morning bagels and pastries - defo a try!

The doors are made of glass and they slide which means that they don’t close very well leaving room for insects to come into the room. There is low sound isolation so can hear a lot of the street noise and the adjacent rooms. There was an unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom every now and then but I think it might just be an overall plumbing issue and can easy be sorted by keeping the bathroom door shut. The shower drain partially blocked which again fits with the plumbing issue.

The staff is ridiculously nice (even considering the niceness of every one in Bali). The hotel feels like a house. The pool is great, the rooms are large, bathrooms are large, and the breakfast is good.

It’s not a proper “dislike”, but the room is so large that they could do a lot with the space, creating a cosy and comfortable seating area for the TV and a workstation (some people need to work even when in Bali). But given the number of long term and returning guests, I would guess this is not high on anyone’s mind. Fair enough, the place is really nice.
