Grand Mas Hotel was absolutely a gem to stay at. It was like a little lot of luxury tucked away for a budget friendly price. The staff was amazing as I arrived at like 6 am from the airport and they prechecked me in so when the room was ready, I could get the keys, In the meantime they stored my bags while I hung out by the pool. The pool was small but lovely, and you can order from the restaurant by the pool if you wish. The restaurant was defiantly a high point. After busy day activities it was nice to be able to stay right next to the hotel and get food. The ambiance was wonderful as well were the servers. They had live music most nights singing western music mostly. (you can hear them from the rooms, till a quarter past 10 pm, but it didn't bother me). The room was small, but quaint and everything I needed. The AC worked very well and since it was a small space it cooled the room down quickly. The bed was firm, but comfortable and the pillows were the perfect amount of plush and squishy. They had elevators or stairs as options and even offered morning activist (though I never took part). In the room, there was a lock box that could hold a lot for your valuables. It held my laptop, camera, money, documents etc. and you can set it to your own personal code. In the room they have two bottles of water that are sealed that can be used to drink or used for teeth brushing etc. As for proximity, the location was great, to the left is the main Seminyak street full of shops and markets. It can be a bit overwhelming if you are a sensory person, but you will grow used to the chaotic shops and streets. Lastly, they have a place for your tai to park so they have time to help you with your baggage. I highly recommend this for families, solo travel, or anyone who is happy with simple but nice accommodation.

The only things that I could take note on for being a little bit wrong. The shower couldn't produce hot water to save its life. (I never complained about it) as outside is a literal sauna, so look cool showers were more refreshing that a bother. The shower door was a bit slippery, but just be aware.

As a female solo traveler, first time in Bali, I chose Grandmas for it's location - proximity to restaurants, spas/salons and the beach all within short taking distance. I liked that it had a restaurant as well, great food and service. I enjoyed hearing the live music while I fell asleep. I did use ear plugs, you can't expect not to hear scooters or other guests in such a dense area.

As with all of Bali, you need to temper your expectations if you're choosing cheap 2-star accommodation. It was great for that rating. The room is a tiny concrete box with no windows to look out, and no hot water, but it was clean and the location was perfect. My next accommodation is in a beautiful bamboo hut full of ambiance so I can laze around in the room, but it's more remote. Mix n match to make your vacation what you want it to be!

The hotels location is very good, both close to the beach and restaurants. The rooms have 1 twinbed and a bathroom the size is as they told -I guess 14 m2- but 2 luggages maybe hard to fix in the room. Breakfast was very delicious and staff was helpful about anything. Facilities such as pool and restaurant was very nice, evening music is actually pretty good. We travelled as a family and starting from the beginning the staff helped us a lot about any issue, check out times, info about the Seminyak so on. Also spa center at the 5th floor was a good choice for us as well, regarding the value for money the hotel is a good choice. We were pleased by the staff's interest and good intention.

The Hotel is a busy one, so the towels and some items such as got older in time but only a small issue.

Everything! The rooms were clean and comfortable, fresh towels and water every day, staff were really nice and always checking things are ok. The restaurant food was great, great location - quick walk to the beach and to shops and restaurants. One day we were met with a very impressive towel elephant and a lovely note! This really made my day :)

This hotel was very charming and I felt like I was staying at Grandmas house. The staff are very friendly. The room is small and compact. The lifts were fast. I loved the activities - learning how to make Jamu and Offering Baskets. The pool was great for relaxing and cooling down. The included breakfast at the restaurant was fabulous as it was freshly cooked and there was a wide variety of dishes to choose from. It is also a short walk to the beautiful beach.

The hotel was great value for money. It was in a good location a few minutes walk from the beach. Even though the rooms were small, the layout was efficient with under bed storage and packed in a lot of ammenities like hanging space, tea/coffee, kettle, bar fridge and a small desk. Wifi was reliable with a strong signal in the room and a Speedtest of around 15-20 mbps.

It is a budget hotel so one of the trade off's is that the rooms are understandably quite small. This is fine for short stays but may not be as appropriate for longer term stays if you're accustomed to more space. There is a small pool but it is next to the restaurant and reception.

The cleanliness of the whole hotel wasn't good, I stayed for 3 nights, they didn't sweep the corridor for 2 days at least, same piece of paper in front of the same door. Could use some painting inside and outside the room. The curtains wouldn't close completely, their solution was a pre-cut piece of black plastic, which they placed with a tape, preventing me from opening the windows for fresh air. The reception didn't seem to be of much help in selling the tours offered by the hotel or give you proper directions. The beach itself isn't very nice, I'd stay in Nusa Dua next time.

I liked that the room cleaning service was good, ensuring that my accommodations were tidy and well-maintained throughout my stay.

I found the room to be quite compact with basic amenities, and tissues were only available in the bathroom, which was inconvenient when eating snacks. The sliding door to the washroom made the space feel even smaller, as it was easy to accidentally hit it if not opened wide enough. Additionally, while most staff were prompt and helpful, one did not provide a clear ‘yes or no’ answer to my request on the last day. On the last night of my stay, another staff member came to my room with no smile and asked for the laundry receipt, which I wasn’t sure about, leaving me with the impression that there were areas for improvement after 7 nights.
