Food at the Sail was more palatable than at the Kliff. Breakfast's always the same spread - buffet style. Room's spacious and bed's quite comfortable. Great view depending on the room booked. Nearest 24 mini-mart is about 10 minutes walk away, depending on your pace of walking. Good to stock up your snacks from this mart. Gym's at the rooftop and is relatively well equipped. Great access to the beach, But bring your booties as it's reef rock bottom and not sandy bottom. There are two pools and the infinity pool where the pool bar and towel stand are, naturally is the more popular one. You can order food in (from other joints like Molly's Bar and Grill or Omah Cobek (or others) if you get bored from eating the same old food from the resort's restaurants.

The sunloungers could have been better maintained as they were relatively dirty (lizard and bird poo). Didn't feel good lying on it even though the towel was placed on it. There were only four pool umbrellas and these are insufficient given the total number of sun loungers at both pools. Towels in the room had a cigarette smell on them. 😒 Can't stand inconsiderate guests who dropped/throwed the heavy thumbs bell instead of putting them slowly on the gym mats - it made loud thumping noises in the night (my room was right below the gym).

I have been to 50 countries and about 200 hotels. This was one of the best. - beautiful hotel complex, not too big, not too small - amazing pools, cleaned daily - fantastic breakfast buffet, fresh and delicious options - stunning sunsets - superb gym, never seen a better one in a hotel! - exceptional staff, from the cleaning crew all the way up to the hotel manager - spacious, sparkling clean rooms (even the bed sheets are changed daily) - fast, reliable WiFi - semi private beach (you could technically walk up the beach from another hotel but its the last one before a cliff so only from one side) and reef, perfect for snorkeling (turtles!) - plenty of sunbeds by the pools - True, it's on the pricey side but here you definitely get what you pay for which is an exceptional stay - The area which the resort is located in doesn't offer much in itself, but you can easily rent a scooter from the place across the street and then it only takes a couple minutes to reach gorgeous beaches, authentic local food stands, mini markets and so on; if you want to go on trips to the Gilis or Secret Gilis, this place is basically smack in middle from the airport, so also a plus because the drive will never be longer than 90 minutes

The room, location, and service the resort offered. All staff members were friendly and helpful and we were constantly greeted wherever we went. The Cliff restaurant was the best restaurant I have eaten from in all of Indonesia so far and would highly recommend it!

There is very little that I didn't like as I would recommend anyone to go to it if they are in Lombok. If I had to nitpick, I would say that the location of the resort was far from all of our day activities. One of our activities was going to Pink Beach and that alone was a 2-hour drive followed by a 30-minute boat ride. I didn't mind it as I had nothing else to do and enjoyed every moment.

Would be nice to have a bath in a 5 star hotel however shower was very good!! Cliff restaurant on the pricey side. Drinks very very expensive- double any other 5 star resort we stayed at in Bali. Would sell much more by just reducing the price to be in line with their other competitors. For example- Coke Zero is 6000 in the shop, in other nice hotels we stayed in were 25000 but here were 45000.

The hotel is just by the beach.the room are spacious and clean.the restaurants for the breakfast is faces the sea. All the staff are friendly and helpful.

The initial room we had (1307) was a bit old the toilet tab was not polished and fell off. We thought that was a leak from the toilet bowl however upon inspection it was a mystery where the leak was coming from. We also smell piss and saw drops of piss on the toilet bowl that clearly was not ours. U can see at the pic We suspect the room is haunted. *Note: staff were very helpful swift us to a new room immediately. At the end the new room was fabulous 🤩

Incredible stay. We had the Premier Club Room. It was superb. The view of the ocean from our room with the big windows was spectacular. The rooms were so clean. Very spacious. Fantastic breakfast with lots of selection. Very attentive staff. Very nice infinity pool overlooking the ocean with Mt Agung up in the background. I would definitely recommend this place.

A little isolated. You had to catch a taxi to go into town (about 7-10 mins away and very cheap to get there). But this is also part of the charm of Katamarran. It was nice to be away from the busy town. Katamarran should consider doing happy hour.

Set on a perfect, quiet beach with an incredible complex of unique pools. Perfect, reasonably priced Spa with airy treatment rooms overlooking the ocean. I had a pedicure, two Thai massages, and one of their signature massages. All of the treatments were excellent. Kliff Restaurant has a very special setting up the hill, with amazing sunset views. I liked that we could walk to various other small boutique resorts down the beach if we wanted to try other restaurants. All of the staff were incredibly helpful. We did three of our excursions booked through the hotel and they were amazing. Highly recommend the Gili Islands snorkeling tour and the Sendang Gile waterfalls tour.

Amazing breakfast and pools Even though only 1 restaurant there was plenty to choose from, and all food freshly made The staff at the hotel are what makes this place special. Everyone is friendly and willing to help. And there are so many people behind the scenes looking after the place to keep it clean. They even smoke out the mosquitos during rainy season!

There’s little to do at this hotel if you aren’t planning on any outside day trips. I wouldn’t call this a resort, there’s no activities run, no library, no games area, nothing that’s free apart from the gym and pool. Would have expected more from a 5 star resort.

The staff at Katamaran are unlike anywhere else in the world! Professional, warm, inviting and will go above and beyond to ensure you feel like part of the family. We stayed for 6 nights and by the end, we felt like family. Honourable mentions to Dwi and Feri who looked after us every day at breakfast and lunch! And Mr Yogi who was our wonderful transport to and from the airport Location is beautiful. Spa is beautiful and relaxing. Pool is great and lots of food options. A very very special place on a beautiful island and we would highly recommend staying here!

Breakfast was a little stuffy: a small room with lots of people when the resort was busy and the food was a little cold. Not a lot of western options. A very minor flaw for an incredible resort.
