Beautiful grounds with gardens, path to rooms scented with frangipane trees. Fabulous sunsets! Room shower was half outdoors but very private. Given an upgrade to upstairs partial sea view room. I think all the rooms had balconies with chairs so it was great to sit out and enjoy the sea breeze. It was low season and the long beach with black sand was quiet. Further along, locals came to watch the sunset and surfers and a few friendly, feral dogs passed by. Occasionally could see the beautiful view of the volcano on Bali on the horizon. Breakfast had ample choices even though not everything was available but was pretty good overall - only the Nasi Lemak was disappointing, on the day we chose it there was no chicken and nothing mentioned about it when brought to the table. Our dinner choices were very tasty. The pool between the bar area and the restaurant was very relaxing with comfortable loungers on both sides facing the sea. All staff were very courteous, friendly and helpful. We used the dive shop but didn't use the spa. Great diving!

Disappointing Nasi Lemak for breakfast. A few mosquitos got into the room which disturbed our sleep. Perhaps electric mozzie repellent could be offered. Only basic toiletries offered so bring your own body lotion and hair conditioner. A little far any shops but they're only a short, cheap, taxi ride away.

The welcome at Living Asia was unbelievable. The staff are all just next level! The grounds were beautiful and the pool right next to the beach was refreshingly cool. The room was spotlessly clean and spacious. We booked the partial sea view room and it was perfect. The staff helped us book a scooter and also the airport transfer. The restaurant was right next to the beach and the breakfast was good. We were very sad to leave.

The resort is a little dated.

We spent four nights here and we loved it. A beautiful garden, a large room, a pool with a perfect view on the beach at sunset and a very rich breakfast have made our stay outstanding. In the common areas near the bar you have the chance to play table tennis, billiard and more. Thank you to the staff for taking care of us and for keeping such a nice resort in order. We rented a scooter for a good price and rode South to Sengiggi and Mataram. There was much less traffic than in Bali. We recommend the day trip to the other smaller and less popular Gilis as well (South West of Lombok).

We suggest putting extra care while cleaning the rooms, especially windows and in the corners.

The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. The bar and restaurant were incredible! Serving a good mix of western and Indonesian foods. Our private pool was the perfect size and felt private and romantic. The public pool had plenty of space and was beachfront for a perfect sunset view. The property itself was beautiful and kept to a high standard. It was a peaceful place to celebrate our honeymoon.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like. Some travellers might want greater facilities (e.g., gym/yoga studio) on site or to be closer to main shopping and restaurant but that wasn’t the type of holiday we were looking for.

Always a pleasure to pass by living asia. I stayed here as a transit in lombok, then pre and post-Rinjani climb. The hotel is soooo relaxing. The food and rooms have very decent prices for the quality offered. I especially love the seaview rooms and partial sea view rooms. Falling asleep to the sound of waves and taking a shower to the sound of waves is uniquely relaxing. The rooms are perfect for relaxing. Huge king bed with spotless white sheets and immensly confortable matress and pillows. Post rinjani was all about lounging around the pool drinking mocktails and getting massages in the spa center- which also have very decent prices!!! The stay was magnificent and every time we could book at living asia- my husband and I would simply to chill and relax in the hectic flow of our voyage.

Our 2nd stay at Living Asia. It was just as perfect as the last. You really don't need to leave the hotel. The grounds are immaculate, the pool is pristine and the water is nice and cool. The views & sunset is amazing. The staff are wonderful & friendly. The food is super tasty & they give you large portions. They have a pool table, chess board and card games. I highly recommend staying at this hotel. Book a tour with Harry and he will make sure your day goes to plan. We stayed in the garden view rooms for 4 nights with partial beach view. 10/10 for huge room size, cleanliness & WOW....The bed & pillows are so comfortable. We didn't want to leave. ATM, pharmacy, more choice of restaurants & bars are available in Sengiggi. It is a short taxi ride which cost 35000 rupiah. AUD$3.50 each way.

Nothing. We loved everything.

Outstanding food in restaurant, quiet location 10min outside senggigi, nice grounds, spacious bedrooms. Stayed for 3 nights and was sad to leave, we were surprised how good the food was after our bad first impression at checkin. We had breakfast and lunch there each day, and dinner 2 out of the 3 nights. All food and service in the restaurant was excellent, food was hearty and well presented and good portion sizes. Breakfast was ala carte 2 of the 3 mornings, nothing was too much trouble for the staff, they didn't charge for asking for extra items at breakfast where some other resorts did. Location is very peaceful and loungers at pool are comfortable. Went for a few swims in sea but its rough waves so best avoided if you can't swim in case you get knocked over. We paid €44 a night and overall was excellent value for money.

Had bad first impression at checkin at reception, sat on couch and it was broken and fell through it so was worried what was ahead of me, looking around reception ceiling was damaged too, it's surprising that the hotel hadn't made more of an effort in reception. My friends stayed in an upper floor apt initially and found it too hot, the aircon struggled when the sun was shining on roof. The staff relocated them and they were happy after that. Also there was no latte or cappuccino coffee as machine was broken for entire stay, that didn't bother us but our friends missed their cappuccinos.

Fantastic location, friendly staff, although a small number were challenging to communicate with in English. The food was very good and of value. The villa we were provided was spacious and clean with a couple of minor exceptions which I’ve highlighted. The beach views looking across the sea to Bali and Mount Agung in the sunset will forever be in our memories 😊

The only comments for improvement I would say would be to modernise some of the decor and make more comfortable such as the sofa, and to get new towels because the ones we were provided each day looked worn down and used with tears and stains on a couple of occasions (not ideal!). Other than these comments my wife and I were very happy with the stay

Clean, spacious rooms with beautiful walk-in showers in nature. Our rooms were in front of the pool, which is also in front of the beach. Great selection of food for the free breakfast, and the meals are delicious and cheap; the staff was kind and they offered trips and transportation.

This is our favourite hotel in Lombok. Beautiful gardens, lovely accommodation with sea views, magical sunsets, great food, huge pool, lots of sunloungers & wonderful staff. My husband & I have been coming here since 2016.. Sadly my sister broke her foot in Bali the day before we arrived in Lombok. The staff provided a wheelchair for her to use daily & offered assistance whenever she needed. She was given a ground floor room with easy access to the pool, bar, and undercover dining area. My father is 85 years old and he came to Living Asia last year with my hubby and I. He loved it so much, that he joined us again this year. He loves the pool, the billiard table, walks along the beach, spectacular sunsets, the friendly staff & restaurant eg...every meal is delish! It was very easy for him to get around & the rooms are nice and spacious with good, flat paths to walk around the grounds. My sister really appreciate this also, particularly being in a wheelchair & using crutches. We ended up extending our stay. Gardens are immaculate & the staff were also vere accommodating when my dad requested a ground floor room. It's only a AUD5 taxi ride into Sengiggi, about 1/2 hour drive to Bangsal harbour & the surrounding coastal views are absolutely breathtaking. We are looking forward to coming back next year.

This hotel is a 10/10 for us!!!!
