I absolutely loved my stay here, it is situated in the tranquil beautiful ubud jungle with amazing views and sounds. I was a bit worried the accomodation would be hard to reach and in an unsafe location when I read other reviews, but it’s super easy and cheap to order grabs/gojeks and get into the centre. The staff are the kindest, most lovely people I have encountered in Bali (and I’ve met many!). They arranged an early breakfast (which is really good!) so I could visit a waterfall early hours and sorted a transfer with a family member who was so accomodating and made me feel very safe. They went out of their way to ensure I felt comfortable and happy and were very quick to response to messages/requests. The room was great for the price and the cleanliness was above usual standards. The pool area is so beautiful and private, I really enjoyed relaxing here after a long travel. I will stay here again if I visit Ubud ✨

Location: the bungalow was about 2km of a typical Bali narrow and hilly road from the centre of Ubud so you either need a scooter or use taxi to get to city and back, but it was not a problem at all. Because of being slightly out of Ubud, it felt like you are in a paradise, no noise except all the birds and frogs etc. Hosts: Well, I can't speak highly of them all, so thank you very much hosting us. They were all so friendly and helpful, even offered to pack the breakfast on those mornings when we left the place like 2am to go to other parts of the island for extra activities. Poolside was a great addition to the whole setup, too.

Hmm, not much to add here. Ideally, it would have been nicer to be closer to town, but you can't have it all. Would we stay there again? 100%

Hotel is stunning. Amazing swimming pool overlooking the jungle. The rooms are clean, the shower is very nice, the beds are comfortable. It is such a beautiful place that you could not stop photographing it. The breakfast is delicious, freshly prepared every morning.

Ubud city center is not within walking distance. The road is short, but very dangerous and very downhill. There are no restaurants within walking distance and safely nearby. The problem can be solved by renting a scooter or taking a taxi for a few euros.

This is the second time we stayed at Angsoka Bungalow and we loved it us much as the first time! The place is a bit outside of Ubud but still close-by, and it’s a small paradise! There is a small river and jungle-like atmosphere just in front of the place, and you can hear only the sounds of jungle and nature without any traffic noise, it’s delightful! They had a mosquito net in front of the balcony door which allowed us to sleep with open windows and AC off as it was still cool enough at night, and we could fall asleep feeling as if we were in a deep jungle :) The breakfast is served in their beautiful garden and is very delicious with fresh fruits and juices and various options, and the great people working there are always helpful and friendly and make this place even more special! The infinity pool, the garden and surroundings are very beautiful! Highly recommended!

We really loved to stay here and have just a small recommendation for the owners or managers: for us both pillows were too big/high amd we had neck issues after sleeping. Would be good if there were an option of a smaller/less high pillow to sleep. Bit apart from that everything was great!

Angsoka is a bit outside of Ubud, but it is easy to get there by taxi or Grab. The views from the place are stunning and the pool is amazing. The hotel staff are very attentive and clean the room every day. Because it is a bit outside of the center it is really quiet as well. It is the perfect place to wind down and relax. Highly recommended!

There is no possibility to buy much close to the place. You can order by Grab, which the hotel is totally okay with. For us it was not a big minus, as we ate in Ubud center.

The pool was beautiful. It overlooked the jungle. The staff were friendly. Helped us with any questions we had. The view was great. The room was peaceful. Had privacy. Could read and relax. It wasn't too far away. Taxi or grab easy to use. Room had fridge so could buy own snacks and drinks. The breakfast was the best out of all hotels we stayed at in Bali.

I wish location was a little closer to other restraunts but also know it would of spoiled how relaxing and peaceful it was.

Nice place in the jungle. We booked a room with a swing on the balcony. I expected to spend my birthday there. That’s why I decided to pay this amount of money. The best places in the room were the balcony and the bathroom with the view. The territory of the hotel is small but nice.

Breakfast: you can order pancakes ( which were delicious) or a small portion of omelet ( which was quite simple ), a small plate of fruits, juice, and coffee or tea. Portions were not enough for us. For the price we paid, I expected a bit more from this hotel. Undeniably this place is in a beautiful location, and the rooms are good (we paid double the price for our room with swings ), but they need some improvements. And keep in mind you can only get breakfast, then the kitchen does not work.

The staff were very nice and accommodating. We reached the property after a long and tiring day and refreshing welcome drinks were served to our rooms. We informed them that we will leave the property early (4am) the following day for a tour and requested if it was possible for them to prepare a simple breakfast for takeaway. Without complaining, they did prepare breakfast for takeaway. It included 2 hard boiled eggs, sausage, bread with jam and butter, banana and a bottle of water.

Nothing. The place is quite private and relatively far from the commercial districts. Stay here only if you enjoy nature.

We stayed 2 nights in the Angsoka Bungalow. Everything was absolutely amazing. If you are looking for a peaceful place in contact with nature that’s the place to be. The room was clean, really comfortable and we got an amazing view of the jungle from our balcony! We also loved to relax by the beautiful pool. The hotel is located outside the center of Ubud which is a good thing if you want a quiet place. You can reach it in 10min by taxi, grab, moto etc. It may be far by walking. The staff was absolutely lovely and very professional, they could help us with everything we needed. We loved our stay and were so sad to leave. We will come back !
