We loved this wee oasis in a busy Ubud! The room was quirky with the most comfy bed we had our whole trip, and the grounds were lovely. The staff need to be mentioned too as they were so respectful and helpful! Some lovely eating spots a couple of minutes walk, as well as massages. I did get a fright when I was sitting on the balcony casually scrolling the gram, I looked up to see 3 monkeys on the balcony watching me!! I loved that though, even if I did skedaddle to the room, haha! I loved everything, and it's a 10/10 for me, just know this accommodation isn't perfect. For the money I think it's great value and so close to town. There were some gaps in the deluxe double room that mosquitoes could find, but there was a lovely net over the bed. It isn't 5 stars, and it doesn't claim to be, but for me, it was a great experience. I am so glad we stayed, there were definitely memories made!!

We didn't take the path to Ubud as it seemed quite busy with scooters, but we were told it was safe. There is a torch in your room if you want to use the path at night as there is no lighting.

My daughter and I truly loved Bali Bohemia Huts. We stayed initially in the large family villa with its own private pool and kitchen, then moved into a Luxury Room ( as the family villa was booked out). Both places had wonderful quirky & artful decor which made it fun to hang out. All staff were extremely friendly and went out of their way to ensure we had a pleasant time. Finally, the restaurant was superb- a good choice of innovative Middle Eastern influenced, healthy food and drinks , plus a Great atmosphere....we can only recommend.

We liked the (visiting) monkeys- but beware, they are cheeky and clever

I liked the garden and pool, and the room was comfortable & spacious. The balcony was my favourite spot. I liked the fact you could refill a water bottle & save buying more plastic bottles. The staff were polite & friendly.

Lighting in the room was poor. It was hard to read at night. Also, there could have been more hooks to hang bags and scarves, etc, instead of a few draws and some hangers. The towels were old and worn, and were not changed until we asked.

We fell in love with this property, so beautiful & great attention to detail. Loved the monkeys around the hotel. The room was gorgeous, bamboo speaker was great & free water bottle fill up at reception. We ate in the attached restaurant several times & food/menu was perfect. The reception staff were so helpful organising our trips too. I have stayed here before & they remembered me ♥️ The whole place has a great local vibe. We had the noisiest frog in the world outside our room, it was the size of a coin 😂

Some building work outside the front of cafe spoilt the view but I’m sure it will be much improved when finished. It wasn’t noisy.

We LOVED this place! I’m surprised there’s any bad reviews because this was our favourite stay in Bali and Gili islands. The room was super quirky, colourful and clean. The staff were so friendly and the location right near a short cut to get to the Main Street of ubud. We will be staying here every time we come to ubud :) absolutely loved it. Also monkeys really not an issue here - we saw some on the roof towards the evening but nothing like some of the reviews we read before coming. Definitely no aggressive monkeys or monkeys in the pool… Great place great vibe, thank you Bohemia huts! See you again soon

Bali Bohemia Huts was the winner for places we stayed in Bali. It was the little things that really set it apart. Being provided with ground coffee in our room, unlimited free drinking water, a Canang Sari (Balinese offering) placed outside the room each morning, large comfortable bed with a colourful mosquito net surrounding it, traditional style room always kept exceptionally clean, really friendly and respectful staff, a cheeky local monkey sometimes making an appearance. On top of this the price was really good and in the perfect location being on the quieter side of town but also right next to the monkey forest and with a short walk/ scooter path taking you to the shopping and eating precinct of the town. Couldn't say a bad word about the place and would definitely visit again. Thank you Bali Bohemia from Kristyna and Dan 🙏.

Great location on the corner of monkey forest. Monkeys were very entertaining. Quirky rooms which were really cool for a few nights. Great restaurant but very very loud until 11.30pm Thursday night with open mic night.

It's Not a quiet place. You can hear everything from your neighbors and the restaurant. Monkeys fight on your roof in the night and early morning. Roosters start at 5am. It's fine for a few night but then it was nice to move to a more chilled place.

We stayed in the villa with a private pool. The vila was really nice place to stay - it was originally decorated and the beds were comfortable. We also liked that monkeys from time to time came near but they were not aggressive at all. We also visited the restaurant and I really liked their breakfasts. The staff were really friendly and helpful.

The way to the city centre leads partly through a shortcut that is full of scooters so you have to be careful when walking there

The property reminded me of the film Coco, it was cool and welcoming and fitted in with ease to the neighbouring Monkey forest. We went for a basic room and for the price we got quite a bit of space, exceptional service from staff and a clean pool. We were not in the hotel for most of our stay but when we were the restaurant in the evening was full and had a great vibe with live music. We experienced a guest complaining to staff about some building works which were taking place - we found the complaint unreasonable as she tried to say something almost fell on her in the pool however all guests were warned about the work taking place, staff were so polite as they did not take full payment to ensure if we did not enjoy our stay because of the work we had the opportunity to leave and book elsewhere and we would not be charged. Also as much as could be done in terms of health and safety for the price being charged for the stay we believed was beyond expectation. We also had a peak in to the private villa area which seemed like an awesome stay with its private pool.

We had no complaints, if you riding a scooter there is complete ease of access to the main tourist strip through the alley on the side of huts. If you are using a taxi however you would have to take the longer route.

I had a really good stay at Bali Bohemia Huts. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I loved staying in my room. I had an excellent view into the garden. It was quiet during the night, apart from the typical jungle noise. The adjacent restaurant serves very delicious food. If I come to Bali/Ubud again, I will stay here again.

Since it's very close to the Monkey Forest, there's quite a lot monkeys around...jumping around on the roof etc. So you'll need to be prepared for that.
