A lovely place to stay if you want to get away from the hustle an bustle of Ubud. It is so peaceful and relaxing, Perfect way to start and finish the day! Staff is very friendly and welcoming, breakfast was lovely too, black rice pudding especially. We were leaving early to get the boat to Nusa so and they offered us boxed up breakfast that we could take to our trip. So kind and thoughtful. Our room was spacious and clean, comfy bed. What else can you ask :) The location is great, walking distance to main street and art market. If you are looking for nice place to eat go to Sun Sun Warung which is about 5-7 mins walk. If there is a que I would recommend to wait. The food is outstanding! I had my best meal in my life there, so did my mum! Amazing stay altogether. I would recommend not to think twice, go ahead and book it :)

Perfect small boutique hotel with an amazingly refreshing pool and comfortable, clean rooms. Peaceful, off the main roads but close to everything. Didn't have to rent a scooter as everything was walkable, but could have if I had wanted to. Breakfast delivered to your room in the morning at whatever time you wanted was a great and much appreciated perk. Highly recommend. I highly appreciated getting picked up from the airport, and that the hotel provided me a driver to explore the western side of the island when I wanted to.

The room did have some ants roaming around. It doesn't bother me, we are in nature and I know rooms can't be sealed perfectly tightly against nature, but it's something that might cause other people to leave a bad review, which this place doesn't deserve as it's a wonderful hotel to stay in. I'm not sure if you can do something about the ant or seal up the hole they are coming from, but you might want to look into it.

Nice balcony, breakfast included. Big bed and a fridge. Not smelly at all. AC was working fine, and it was rather quiet at night.

To be honest, it was a bit hard to find. Everything else was great, but I'd still like to have a shower option in the room (there was a tub only).

House keeping was a little inconsistent No water in room when I arrived - no welcome drink Coffee was not replenished daily, had to ask , and on my last evening water appeared in my room - but I had already purchased this. I didn’t realise I could have a pool towel until I saw a guest asking for one - could be in room for guest use. And not sure why the pool beds didn’t have cushions - they did on my last day.. so were uncomfortable to lay on for 2 days. These are all small gripes ,I loved my stay, but with some consistency my stay would have been more comfortable.

The photos were obviously taken when the hotel was brand new and very sparkly with time and use some of the sparkle has faded but still great value for money. Pool was gorgeous, beakfast satisfying, bed comfortable and I loved sitting on my little verandah early in the morning listening to nature. The hotel is set back off the road and when you walk down the path you leave the city noise behind. This is not a 5 star hotel but it is beautiful budget accommodation and I would stay there again.

The shower head is so close to the wall it's hard to get under it😊 and at times not a lot of hot water. Let's remember though where you are and how economical the room is. The one thing that does need to be addressed urgently is the toilet seat in room 3. It has some abrasions on the top of tge seat which would make it difficult to keep germ free.

We stayed at Putu Putra Hidden for 2 weeks out of our 5 week vacation in Bali. The location was perfect for us! A bit away from the craziness of central Ubud but close enough to walk everywhere. Kids loved swimming in the pool and making friends with locals managing the guesthouse. Close to yoga (both Radiantly Alive and Yoga Barn) so my husband and I could take turns doing yoga in the mornings. Great coffee shop right across the street, many food options around, a small grocery store (Bali Buda) few minutes walking to get familiar things for kids (like oats, muffins, etc). Fruit and vegetables market every morning on the main road. Staff at the guesthouse are very helpful and breakfast is nice. Would definitely recommend staying here. Great value for money.

Bathrooms were a bit outdated but didn’t really bother us! It’s not a 5 star hotel so we were ok with it.

Very pretty garden setting. I loved the attention to the garden. Good vibes. Great pool, with lounge chairs Quiet and private. Balcony with beautiful garden and pool view, but not upstairs. Great location. Friendly staff.

I always have issues with pillows. Couldn't get comfortable. Bathroom needed to be cleaner. Slightly musty smell. Long walk to street, good for some, not for me. Be aware not wheelchair accessible and lots of steps. Several locations on same road with same name - check exact address for driver.

Overall it's a decent value for the price. We stayed 6 nights. The staff is very helpful. You can choose a selection of breakfast that will be served in your room. Also it's quiet in the room

Be prepared, that there's a gap between the balcony door and wall so that mosquitoes and geckos can freely access your room and you can't do anything about it. There's also mould in the bathroom. It's not very clean

We walked into our room and it had enchanting energy that made us feel like we were in a "luxurious" bungalow that possessed notes of quaintness and culture. This place is really quite tucked back, so it truly is hidden but its like making a journey to a picturesque landscape and reaping the benefits once you reach the destination. The entire layout was aesthetically pleasing to the eye from the courtyard to the room and the balcony. Bonus points for the free breakfast provided, very supplemental for our day (they also do fun floating breakfast in the pool). Great value for your hard earn money to spend on a holiday.

The only disappointment for us during our stay was that the 'provided shower' in our room wasn't quite up to specification. The shower was essentially provided in the bathtub, the water pipe for a shower area had not been installed then. We improvised for a hot bath on one of our nights but the water pressure was very low and it look 45min to fill the tub.
